Ahh, does elements have that? Thats all I'm working with.

Thats what I use to use, until I got PS7 ;)

All you do is:

Right click your base (on the layers pallete), and click 'Duplacite layer'

Making sure the new layer is selected, press Ctrl +Shift + U, that should desaturate it.

Then set it to Softlight
