Was Anna the girl that pashed Jack when he was drunk? And Martha saw them and cried?

You'd think Martha and Jack would have enough brains to move it to the bedroom. LOL.

Chapter Twenty One

Lucas stood gawping at the site of his brother and Martha in their very compromising position. Passion had overwhelmed both and they had fallen back onto the couch. Jack was clad with only his pants on and Martha her jeans and bra, Jack lying on top of her was on the verge of undoing the clasp when they heard Lucas. The pair who were inseparable only a second ago could not have moved away from each other to opposite ends of the couch fast enough. Martha's hands immediately shot up modestly to help cover her almost naked chest and Jack's face registered a look of humiliation. They'd been busted. Big time!

"I don't believe this!" Lucas mumbled while raising his hands to cover his eyes and turning his head to look the other way. "This is the second time I've done this."

Martha's eyes scanned the room for her top frantically and once she spotted it she pushed herself off the couch, picked it up and quickly made her way to Jack's room. Once he heard the door to the room close Lucas opened his eyes to look at Jack.

"I'm so sorry," Lucas apologised. "I didn't mean to..." But he stopped half way through. After a second thought he changed his tune. "No actually. You know what, I'm not sorry! You're the one you should be apologising. Ever heard of a room Romeo? You know that thing with a door for privacy so this sort of thing doesn't happen!?" His eyes shot open and he was looking at Jack as if he thought he was related to an idiot. But even in a situation like this Jack couldn't help but be a smartass.

"Well actually little brother," He began, his eyes lighting up with a shiny glint. "The last time we were in a room, with the door closed might I add, nothing seemed to stop you. I mean if you wanted tips from the master himself you could have just asked." Lucas' jaw dropped, he groaned and then couldn't help but laugh and shake his head. His brother really was full of it, or rather himself.

"You never stop with the brazen comments do you?" He walked over to Jack and picked up his top from the couch. "Put this on," He said as he tossed the shirt over to Jack.

Anna had not entered the house as Lucas did. She stood outside where she couldn't be seen leaning against the wall. It hadn't exactly been the most comfortable situation that she found herself stumbling upon.

"So does this mean you two are back together?" He asked, a large grin starting to spread across his face. Jack didn't have an answer, he really hadn't thought about it. The last time he thought about Martha and having a chance with her was earlier that day at the diner; and he had come to the conclusion that they were just friends. But after what had just happened, or almost happened between them he was positive that she must have felt the same about him. "I hope so. I really do."

*************************************

Martha was panting for air as she closed the door behind her. Lucas of all people had caught them for a second time. She knew once this was all over and done with she would have a good laugh about it, they would all find this a very funny and amusing memory. This led Martha to question and process what had actually just happened. 'Were her and Jack back together?' It certainly seemed that way. But then again there hadn't really been that much talking going on so she wasn't really sure. She slipped her top back on and prepared to go back out again.

**************************************

Harry just stood with his eyes darting across the blank, dark area, checking for a figure.

"Got the cash?" The voice asked from behind, standing opposite Harry then walking around to face him.

"Yes as a matter of fact I do."

"Good then hand it over." Harry went to reach into his pocket. He went to pull his hand out, when Carl growled impatiently. "I haven't got all day old man. Hurry up and give it to me!" When Harry finally withdrew his hand it was gripped around a little black gun. BANG! The gun repeated twice more. He had relentlessly shot three bullets aimed straight into Carl's heart. The body fell heavily to the ground without a second's hesitation. Harry just stared at the body and his eyes narrowed. The blood started pouring out like a tap on full blast and soaked through the shirt within seconds. A dark, brownish red pooled around the man. Harry slowly took two steps over to the body until he was standing directly above it, looking down on it with disgust. He bent his knees and squatted down, placing two fingers on the neck to feel a pulse. But then withdrew his hand when he remembered that touching the body would leave a fingerprint, instead he pulled out the gun again and placed the barrel directly in-between the lifeless man's eyes. Pushing the gun down with considerable force he shot again.

"Home work doesn't mean a thing when you don't come to class prepared," He whispered into the corpses' ear. Gently rising up he took one last look down. "Now. Two to go."
