MarMar Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 Your Martha ones are very popular Mercury_Girl. But they are superb though Thanks Ok I know I've already asked to use one of your avatars today but could I also use the Rob &Tasha one for haac?? I know it's annoying but I really do love your work! Your style is distinctive and i love it! =) Sure, go ahead!
MarMar Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 Thanks to both of you. Now, I've had one person using one of my avatars without asking who failed to give me as much as a reply to the PM I sent asking why. I just found out that another member is hotlinking one of my avatars which she asked if she could use. I'm getting really tired of people hotlinking me, and I know others are too. I'm thinking about posting the usernames of the hotlinkers and post them in here until they stop hotlinking. The their names will be removed. Yes, that is mean, but it's either that or not post avatars/remove them from where they are hosted now and have several "holes" in my posts.
MarMar Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 I love Oreos. We don't have Oreos in Norway. Or, we do.. but they are imported and extremely expensive. I had to make an icon to show my love for Oreos.
flutterby Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 Sorry if this is a stupid question but what is hotlinking? I want to make sure I'm not doing it or don't do it in the future! Loving the Oreos av!
MarMar Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 Hotlinking is when you copy the original uploader's link and use it to upload the avatar to the board. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotlinking
-Jade- Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 omg I didn't realise that i was hotlinking!! I'm so sorry - I didn't even know what it was! I will go and fix the problem now! Sorry about that!
-Jade- Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 I know, sorry i wasn't sure how to do it so I was asking for help from my friend. I don't think I am now, am I?
