Haven't had the opportunity to post on here for a while so I'll be brief, promise.

Part of Tank's parole conditions was he lived with his dad, wherever that may be, so Skye's was totally wrong about him being able to check into any old police station, they will ask his address and check with the issuing station, wouldn't they?  Skye obviously hasn't got over what her mum did to her hence her overreaction to John  telling her would ground her if she kept on seeing Tank.  I was hoping when we saw them in the car he'd turn round and come back regardless of what she said.

I have no problem with Tank and Olivia, sorry Red, he has been very patient with waiting for her to be ready, absolutely ready, to resume the sexual part of their relationship. I liked how she thanked Chris for pointing her in the right direction and gently asked if he was thinking of getting counselling.  Of course Chris being Chris he said he was fine.  Which brings me to the small matter of the number of times people say those two little words - I'm fine - when it is patently obvious they are not!  Roo said numerous times in the last couple of days and even Alf fell for it at first before she collapsed into his arms and admitted she had been using Maddy's meds, bad enough she was using someone else's but along with what she was on was bound to be a bad idea, I think she'd been overdosing on the tablets. Wasn't she supposed to be having counselling?

I can kind of see why Maddy ducked out on Matt, to spare him, but to do to that to Roo when she knew what state she was in.  Btw why is everyone acting like Maddy has already gone overseas, have they all  been banned from visiting her in the city?

Not making any excuses for Josh for ducking out on turning himself in, I thought Kat only gave him a couple of weeks grace, but Evie's has got him between a rock and a hard place, without knowing his predicament she's essentially emotionally blackmailing him to stay with her. Actually before now, as the case had been closed there hasn't been a real urgency for Josh to come forward, he could have just 'decided' he couldn't keep quiet any longer, and handed himself into Kat. Now of course the case has been reopened so Kat will have to act.

Total rubbish hospital security hospital aside, as in regards it being so easy for Billie to gain access to Sam's computer, what exactly was the point in her changing the date of conception, it's well known babies are never born on their due date, how many times has the cry gone out "But he/she is not due till next month" so a couple of weeks is not going to raise any eyebrows. How btw did Billie know which screen to get into to do it?  Really remiss of Sam to have her password on that key fob thingy. Sam won't say anything to anyone unless circumstances demand it.

We got a glimpse of Tori's brothers and they don't seem all that friendly. I spotted her fiddling with her hair, definite sign someone is hiding something, when that guy was asking her about her last posting. I understood Ricky's feeling like a spare part at the drinks do, unlike a formal do where partners are invited as a matter of course, the people who work together have their in jokes and the partner feels like an outsider because obviously they don't get the jokes.

Ouch, tricky that Tess turning up like she did and that must have stung for Phoebe being introduced as 'my friend'.  Bella was quite discreet for her age by not blurting anything  out.  Dom has got some unresolved feeling there me thinks, he didn't take his hand away when Tess took hold of them in Angelo's.

Part two, not a long ramble.

The more Leah and Zac make Billie welcome at the caravan park house the guiltier she is feeling, not just VJ she is 'cheating' but Zac and Leah as well. The longer she keeps this secret the harder it will be to tell the truth.  Once Phoebe has told someone she'll keep her mouth shut she does, but was she psychic about the news getting out somehow - enter Sam.

I think they have both given it their best shot, but I think both of them realise this month old marriage is dead. Is this a record, even for the bay? I know Casey is his son but rather insensitive of Brax sending a 1st Birthday card, but then being sensitive was never his strong point. After all those  times of telling Brax she didn't want to be 'protected' what does Ricky do, hide the card to 'protect' Nate.

Ok we've all seen Brax make a reappearance but if what I've read is true, two questions arise when and more importantly how!

I cant see anything insensitive at all about Brax sending little Casey a birthday card - it would seem nobody else bothered.  Surely a father is entitled to do that afterall he is still his son,  whether he is with the mother or not.

I want Billie and VJ to continue together, Slade, because they go so well together, despite the age gap. VJ is in love with her and Billie obviously cares a lot for him. even though she may be using him. I know many teenagers who have fallen in love and married their first love and it has worked out. But, as you say, it will be very interesting to see how it plays out. Who would VJ go to for advice, if and when he finds out?

Another pair of teenager lovers in bed together, post coitus. First Hunter/Olivia, now Josh/ Evie (I wondered how long that would be). Who's next? Bille/VJ? Bit too soon for Tank/Skye. Very nice of Evie to go to so much trouble thanking Josh for being there for her, but what a shock with his confession afterwards. What a letdown!!! How stupid of SC Kat telling her latest squeeze police information. Ash must know that there are things she can'[t tell him.

What's happened to Matt this last week? Is he still living with Roo or gone to the city to find Maddy?

My thoughts on VJ/Billie (because it beats talking about today's episode): VJ's not an intellectual and doesn't seem to have any real passion for everything, but he's a decent bloke and has the potential to be a good father. Certainly more so than the alternative. I think him and Billie bringing up this baby together could be the making of them both...but that doesn't mean he should be tricked into thinking the baby's his and Billie needs to be honest.Pretty much the worst thing that can happen for her is people finding out she lied about the paternity but not about the rape...so that's probably what will happen. That would probably cost her VJ and almost certainly make her the target for a lot of people's anger...but sooner or later the truth about the rape will come out and then, rightly in my opinion, people will sympathise. They've forgiven worse. In fact, Roo did much the same thing in her youth (lying about who her baby's father was, not being raped).H&Alover, despite what it said in the spoilers, Billie didn't seem to alter the due date, which you could see written further down the screen. It looked like she changed something called "Date of LMB", whatever that means.

I think Aden and Belle still hold the record, they were only married a fortnight. Although admittedly that was because she died.

Okay...today.That was the absolute pits. For a long time people have been commenting about episodes that feel like the old Home and Away and episodes that feel like a different show entirely. This was one of the latter, and the characters who feel like they'd fit into the Home and Away seem to be leaving in their droves and not being replaced.Even Zac and Leah's presence couldn't raise this one.Josh is now almost completely unlikable, and Ash and Andy are even worse as they run around town trying to hide him from the police and the consequences of his actions. "He doesn't belong in jail!"they insist.Hmm...killed someone while covering up a murder? Zac didn't belong in jail, Tank frankly didn't belong in jail given his obvious mental health issues, Josh definitely belongs in jail.Kat is still handling it all wrong: Instead of telling McCarthy who the culprit is, she tells Ash? And then runs around town on her own hoping to bump into Josh?(Given he was only a short distance from the caravan park house, she can't have been looking that hard.)And it's frustrating that the Ash/Kat relationship, which I thought would be nothing like Brax and Charlie, has become exactly like Brax and Charlie, with him encouraging her to turn a blind eye to serious crimes and using her to help his criminal mates out.Evelyn's surprise for Josh was...having sex with him? Weren't they doing that anyway? She might as well have taken him to the Diner for a milkshake as a surprise.

I really shouldn't spend too much time talking about a character who appeared for about ten seconds and didn't speak so I'll save most of that for tomorrow. But seriously? The Ricky/Nate break-up, much like the Matt/Maddy break-up, feels like an attempt to please everyone that pleased no-one.Ricky loves Nate but she loves Brax more, Nate has to be the noble one and call Brax for her which seems worryingly like him treating Ricky like a piece of property that he's trading in... There were a lot of very good reasons Ricky didn't go with Brax, it wasn't just a case of "I was angry with him and I chose you", and most if not all of them still apply.

Ricky and Brax belong together Ricky and Nate had nothing in common whatsoever, she went with Nate only because at first she believed Brax was gone and when she found out he was alive she was livid with him and cut off her nose to spite her face.  It was obvious how she felt  by the way she look at him when he came back, and she cried her eyes out when he  left her - Nate was never going to take his place,  she was up front and told Nate she would always love Brax  but Nate just assumed she loved him more  but was so wrong.  Also have said it before but will say it again Kyle Pryors acting is the worst on the show.

You see the problem I have Brian is not necessarily the age gap.  I'm just not convinced about the love thing.  I believe he thinks he's in love with her but it's his first real relationship.  This very likely could just be a strong infatuation.  And I do not believe someone that age should be having a kid not when he's still one himself and therefore not mature enough to know if he's truly in love with someone.  Not in this day and age.  And certainly not before he's finished school.  I personally feel he would be throwing his life away.  He's doing this mainly for Billie and not because he wants a baby with her.  It's a way of hanging onto his girlfriend.  He may enjoy having a cute rugrat to play with at first but the novelty will wear of pretty quickly when he gets fed up of feeding it and changing diapers whilst he friends are all going out having a good time.  Leah's initial reaction seemed to suggest that they would be fending for themselves but I suspect she will be helping out with baby sitting duties.  But I would like to see VJ finish highschool and get into uni eventually.  Have to say I'm surprised that you personally know so many teenagers where this has actually worked out as I'm not sold on the concept of marriage anymore anyway.

You know what, I'm proud of Ash.  Irrespective of what he's done one thing I've admired about his is his loyalty to his friends.  Firstly there was his loyalty towards Brax when he found out he was alive (although he did crack eventually) and then there's today.  I loved the way he put Josh's interests before his own relationship with Kat and tried to get hold of him to warn him Kat was coming for him and then told Andy.  I really hope Andy is able to get him out of the bay somehow.  It is disappointing especially the scene when Zac thanked Josh for supporting Evie but at least he got to sleep with her one last time.  I'm assuming that scene was his goodbye to her.  Because she's obviously never going to want to see him again.  Wasn't expecting him to tell her about killing Charlotte but I think it was better coming from him rather than Zac/Leah or Kat.

I think Nate did the right thing ending things with Ricky.  They never should have gotten married and as I've mentioned quite a few times he knew she was still in love with Brax.  There's also the issue of her not being able to give him any kids.  Whilst I admire him calling Brax for wanting Ricky to be happy I'm confused.  I thought Gunno was still after him so isn't that putting Casey and Ricky at risk.  Also given that they are reopening Charlotte's murder investigation aren't there going to be loads of cops crawling around.  So there's a chance he could be seen captured and sent back to jail.

One thing about Nate ending things is at least he can move on.  Tori was a lot better in that episode even though she was still involved in Nate's marriage.  Rather than appearing smug we had that empathetic expression when Nate told her what had happened.  You know she's actually kinda cute.  I think she and Nate would make a good couple.
