I don't think Ash was really sorry about seeing Tori naked.

I did have to laugh at that, typical case of mishearing.:D:blush:

It's hard for me to know what I think about Mason's behaviour here.In a sense, he's overreacting. In another sense, he does have a genuine reason to be angry with Brody. In another sense, Brody is actually sorry. And in a fourth sense...the rest of the family really shouldn't have kept pushing Mason, they should have known he'd snap.It was nice to see Brody and Ziggy having proper conversations, showing it's not just about sex...but there does seem to be a lot of that.

Does anyone else find the idea of Ash and Hunter as friends really weird, given that Hunter spent most of his first year on the show hurting everyone Ash cared about? It makes about as much sense as...Hunter and VJ being friends.Doesn't help that Hunter immediately betrayed Ash's confidence and started off a bizarre game of chinese whispers, so it's perhaps no wonder he went back to confiding in Justin.

Talking of Mason and the miracle workers at ND hospital, wasn't it just last week he was unable to move his arms or hands, was confined to bed or wheelchair but this week he's using a walking frame, walking sticks and strangling Brody with quite some force!   Beth did give him some good advice about how to think of the rest of his family and how would he have managed alone and been able to pay for it.  The Morgan's are in between a rock and  hard place, Brody needs to stay there because of his bail conditions, what happened then when he stayed at Irene's overnight and it looked like it would be longer only it wasn't.  I may have got it wrong but wasn't the reason he was there because according to his rehab he had to avoid places that stressed him like home. So he can't move out and the place isn't that big they can avoid each other completely. Both Justin and Tori were pushing Mason to forgive Brody, 'cos he's your brother, would they be so forgiving if it had happened to them?  Looking at it perversely one good thing has come out of it, he's meet Beth. I noticed Mason hasn't been reunited with Raffy yet.

Very odd choice Ash confiding in Hunter why not Irene?  Hunter is a 18 year old so the temptation to pass it on would have been irrestible  and quite funny how it got twisted and ending up as they had been skinny dipping!!! Give him his dues, he did try and apologise  to Tori before that. At last he's admitted he does have feelings for Tori. Seeing as he had to confess about what he saw or didn't see he had no choice but to admit how he felt about Tori being reminded of course he was talking about Justin's sister - quick aside has it really been a year since they opened the garage? - .  Justin should know what he is talking about advising Ash not to jump into too quick as he has only just finished with Kat he's going through the same thing with Scarlett while still having feelings for Phoebe. Of course if Ash and Tori do get together will Kat think she was right all along and there was something going on between them?

Good to see Ziggy interacting with Olivia and Hunter she needs to mix with more people of her own age who aren't drop outs.  Those first photos were rubbish didn't show them in their full light looked so flat, but came to life when Ziggy wore them, even Hunter looked good in the one he wore. Not my style, but then I'm old, but definitely something female students would go depending on how much they will cost. Wonder what Ben will think though?

For much of this episode, Justin was showing the failed domineering older brother traits that made him hard to warm to in his early days.Trying to order Mason to forgive Brody was never going to work and the more Justin and Tori tried to bully him and force the issue, the more he was going to dig his heels in.But eventually Justin did go down the more effective route of the emotional plea and reminded them all of everything they've been through as a family.Looks like they're going to be all right.Even if Brody did then skip out on them to have sex with Ziggy. And yes, Mason has gone from "might never walk again" to going on cross country treks (with a couple of walking sticks, just so we know they haven't forgotten that storyline) in typically quick time.

It was slightly amusing to see Marilyn pretend to go along with John's reason for not interfering, which even he didn't quite believe. There seems to be an attempt to show a different flavour of Ben's character but it just seems to be the stock "I feel worthless if I can't provide for my family" characterisation which makes Home and Away feel like it's still stuck in the 20th century at times. And don't he and Maggie have a bedroom?

Part of me wants Ash and Tori to get together just so we can move past the long drawn-out toing-and-froing.The other part doesn't want them to get together.

Mason went back to pretty much being unbearable especially in the scene when he went for Brody.  I've noted comments in the Australian thread previously that have mentioned the acting at times and as harsh as this sounds I feel I kind of agree with them.  I'm glad that he and Brody have made up as I don't think I can take much more of him like this.

Marilyn annoyed me once again when she was eavesdropping on Maggie's conversation with Ben and then invited Maggie to hang out with her.  Maggie can't really complain about being stressed since moving to the bay though as she was the one that forced the move.

Ben is still highly annoying especially his attitude towards VJ giving Coco surfing lessons.  VJ is actually trying to do her a favour.  Does he want to ban all his daughters from hanging out with any guy?  Even during the surfing lessons he came to check up on Coco because he didn't trust VJ although I think Jen being there as well probably made him less suspicious.  I'm surprised neither him or Maggie have questioned Coco and Jen both having surfing lessons at the same time.

It's still disappointing how Coco's treating Raffy although I still sympathise with her as she's ill.  I think it would be a lot easier if she told Raffy the truth although it's now pretty serious.  Jen seemed to be very helpful after Coco collapsed the first time.  I couldn't figure out whether it was because she wanted to impress VJ or if she wanted to ensure Coco was out the way so she could have VJ all to herself.  Judging by the preview it will be interesting to see how long Coco can keep this a secret for.

I found it quite funny just after Ash saw Tori naked, he was absolutely bricking it when he was talking to Justin, worried that Justin was going to call him out on it.  Hunter actually really annoyed me when Ash told him what happened in confidence and he went and immediately told Olivia.  And I thought it was ridiculous how it spread like wildfire throughout the bay.  Would Olivia really have told Irene straight away like that and would Irene have told someone else given how well she's been getting on with Ash?  Surely her thought process would have been she doesn't want to rock the boat with Luc.

Similarly I also found it quite funny when Ben came round the the garage to apologise about the way he was with Brody and Justin was afraid Ben was going to let rip about Brody and Ziggy.  I appreciate Justin's in a very difficult position.  He can see Brody's happy and doesn't want to drop him in it, he doesn't want to lie to his 'mate' and then there's the court case.  Part of me didn't like the fact they were trying to pressurise Scarlett but at the same time what are they supposed to do?  Regardless of whether she uses her maiden name or not she's taking a big risk.  If her husband tracked her down just from Brody attempting to car jack her then surely if his henchmen are doing their due diligence they will find out if she represents him in court.  In fact I'm surprised they didn't come back to the bay to keep tabs on Justin after he helped fake her disappearance.

I'm guessing that neither Brody or Mason knew about where their parents were  buried seeing how young they were at the time.  Quite sad their graves were unmarked and out in the middle of nowhere to protect them, I think Justin said it's what happens to people in WP.  It did seem to work as  Mason and Brody hugged although it will still obviously be a while before they get back to normal and Mason brought up that he knew Brody had seen them die. Apart from the sex Brody and Ziggy are able to actually have conversations mostly about how he feels about him and Mason, she listens and offers advice without telling him what he should/shouldn't do.  Justin spotted that when he saw them talking and although he's willing to keep their secret he's said he won't lie. Justin did tell Ben if it had been his daughter caught up with a drug user he would have done the same which he would.

At least John and Marilyn were singing from the same hymn sheet and didn't give conflicting advice to Ben and Maggie. I guess even in the 21st century men feel that they should be the main provider all those eons of thinking that way can't be wiped out.    I suppose its  better than him being a layabout and happy to let his wife bring in the dollars. Maggie did drag Ben off to their room, this was the aftermath, any teenage girl or boy would be embarrassed by the thought their parents still have sex and what's more enjoy it. I did like how she told Ben & Maggie she had run into Brody accidentally of course in case he heard about it from another source, clever thinking  girl.

Would I be right in thinking Brody's been summoned for the damage he did at Scarlett's and it's been brought by the landlord? I thought that about Scarlett's husband tracking her down when she appears in court though depending on where he lives would what happens in a small town court make wider news?

Raffy and Coco sort of made up then Jen muscles in and makes a big show of pretending  to be Coco's friend by kissing her.  Of course VJ would have to touch Coco if he's teaching her to surf Ben and Maggie didn't know about Jen and Coco having surfing lessons at the same time Jen 'persuaded' Coco at the Diner. I was undecided over whether Jen was genuinely concerned about Coco or trying to impress VJ, she did look it.

So Tori and Ash seemed to have gone backwards again with her insisting she's over her crush and is OK with them being friends. Although it would be good for Tori and Ash to be together it's too soon. As we all know by keeping secrets in a small town never lasts.

A mystery boat suddenly drifts into the bay and I don't think you need to be a genius to work out it has something to do with you-know-who.

Ben’s apology would have had more impact if it had actually been delivered to Brody rather than Justin. As it is, it feels like he chickened out which doesn’t exactly give the impression that he deserves Brody to be honest with him. But Brody’s going to anyway…but not until next week of course, because he and Ziggy have used up their episodes this week. The show seems to be stretching the bounds of credibility over the law again: Would it really be that easy for Scarlett to represent the defendant in a criminal case when she’s one of the victims, throwaway comment about withdrawing statement and supposed knowledge of the system aside? (It doesn’t help that yesterday’s episode refers to Brody being “served”. Don’t you get “served” over a civil case? Isn’t it “summoned” with a criminal case?)

I continue to feel more sorry for Raffy than Coco. She really hasn’t had a good time since moving up a year, with the person who wanted her to move up so she’d have a friend too busy snubbing her for her arch-enemy to actually hang out. Not that Coco’s having it any good either, as she has to watch Jennifer hijacking her time with VJ. Loved VJ standing up to Ben, there seemed to be something very passive aggressive about the way he responded to Ben’s surliness, and also the way he deflected Jennifer’s flirting. They’ve made up for now but the friendship still feels very one-sided; Raffy is constantly supporting Coco without really getting anything back. Tori now seems suspicious of Coco’s behaviour and so does Ben for that matter. Not sure how we’re meant to read VJ’s feelings towards Coco. He’s clearly fond of her but he’s fond of Raffy too and no-one’s expecting him to start dating her.

I’m not sure why Robbo apologised to Scarlett when she seemed to be the one out of line. She was very snobby towards him and her argument was massively hypocritical given that she doesn’t want anyone from her past to know where she is. She seems determined to prove he’s a bad ’un despite all the evidence to the contrary, mainly because she wants everyone to tell her she’s right. So, official confirmation that Kat and Robbo have only kissed…although that’s probably not going to be the case for long.

While I appreciate that Coco has a disease, I am sick of her treating Raffy so badly. Their friendship is so ridiculously one-sided, it is unreal. It is a shame as I feel like Raffy could have more people fighting her corner. Also, shouldn't Maggie have talked to the Morgans rather than John about Raffy struggling with moving up a year. When was the last time Tori even interacted with Raffy?

While Coco's crush on VJ is cute, I really really don't want them  to have romantic relationship. I don't want them "fixing" a serious psychological issue with a relationship (like they did with Olivia's self harming being cured by Hunter). I also feel that it would be very one-sided with VJ having to constantly reassure Coco.

On the subject of that kiss between Robbo and Kat and her remark 'it's not going to happen again' is soap speak for 'oh yes it is'.  Whenever a soap (any soap)   couple have a snog or sleep together the once that is the standard phrase used by one or both be they with someone or not.  Justin and Phoebe were another instance though they were both free agents. Anyways back to Robbo & Kat yes it did and more besides this time. It must have felt a bit awkward for her being back in the flat where she'd recently been living with Ash and I noticed she chose Luc's room rather than her & Ash's room. The electrical tension between them has been so apparent it's a wonder only Scarlett has noticed it. The look on her face when Robbo was having a go at Kat at the station and she looked ashamed for doing her job, though Murray was right his case is still an on-going  case, Scarlett's eyes were flicking between them she looked very bemused.

Also with Scarlett H&A are making seem that simple for Scarlett to pick up the reigns of her old job just like that, I think she was a criminal lawyer, by retracting her statement and getting the OK by the Law Society or whatever it is in Australia.  Strange how she still sees Robbo as a wrong 'un whereas Kat who is a cop doesn't, things got heated between both of them and the first time really we've seen Robbo lose it verbally.  Scarlett to be fair knows her past and who is after her he doesn't and it seems it's been established he's not a crim at least not in Aus. His good guy instincts  kicked in again by helping Coco, if he was a hardened criminal I can't see him doing something like that.  That's two Astoni  women he's saved, I hope he doesn't make it a hat trick.

Raffy certainly isn't one for bearing a grudge, she knows full well how short life is for things like that, as soon as she heard Coco wasn't well she went straight round there. Coco did apologise - again - and admitted there was a reason why she was friendly with Jen but couldn't say.  Telling Raffy would break Jen's hold over her, Raffy didn't know it but her jokey 'she's blackmailing you' was spot on, but Raffy would try and persuade Coco to tell her mum and dad.  I also think Tori had an idea of what caused Coco to faint but as Coco is 16 she can't tell Ben or Maggie her suspicions.  Maybe and it's a long shot maybe this has scared Coco into giving up on this idea she's fat and needs to keep slim, she already is, she's the right weight for her age and height. She could confide in Tori who could give her the proper advice as long as it doesn't come across as doctor knows best. Although they haven't yet there is no need for  Ben or Maggie to blame themselves for not spotting it no way they could know, young girls/boys can get very good at hiding their anorexia/bulimia.  I liked those scenes between Raffy, Coco and VJ just three normal teens having  a laugh, VJ having a whinge about it being a salad.  He's said he doesn't want to be with Jen, as in hangout  with, but wants to be with Coco as a friend. Coco of course will get the blame if VJ 'dumps' Jen.

I guess the reason why Maggie spoke to John is because Raffy is still with John & Maz.  There are bound to be some subjects Raffy will not find as easy, unless she is a real child genius.  Nice, but true, of VJ to say he has to study to keep up in year 12.

Going back a couple of weeks and nothing to do with Kat but to me it would have seemed odd no-one at the Marina where Rose worked seemed bothered enough to come round to her place to see why she hadn't turned up for work - just saying.

Alf's episode count this week: Two (and he was credited on Tuesday and Thursday for no appearance). Roo was only in one.

I neither particularly mind nor particularly like Kat and Robbo together, it just kind of is.But it's telling that once again, despite her continued insistence that he's a good guy, Kat flies into a panic on being presented with evidence that Robbo may have been involved in something bad after all (as with her reaction to finding her photo at his camp). It seems fairly clear that he was on the boat (confirmed in the promo) but that doesn't mean he did anything wrong. He'd been attacked himself when we first saw him and there was no body, so possibly someone took whoever else was there away or they left under their own steam?

Mason and Beth was kind of cute.Again, we see that underneath that ebullient act she put on when we first met her and still does sometimes, she's pretty vulnerable. Not clear how old she is but I guess if she's been ill for five years she's not had much time for friends or relationships. As with Robbo in the previous episode, Mason apologises despite not seeming to have any reason to; he didn't even seem to pull away from the kiss, much less push Beth away, he just seems to have been startled by it.

I meant to mention before: Why is Ash sleeping in the nursery with Luc when there's Nate's old room free upstairs? I'm surprised there was no mention of it when Olivia was hammering away on her laptop in the small hours; I was expecting Irene to warn them not to wake Luc when she came down. All of which is more interesting than Olivia Richards:Internet Entrepreneur, which mainly served to demonstrate that she's still pretty immature.
