They had just been standing on the pier talking but I thought the same Red  'don't mention the sex' to paraphrase a certain hotelier.   Mason did save Beth's  life she could have been driving home alone when she collapsed and there wouldn't have been anyone around to help her so perhaps Richard and Jackie should have been a bit more thankful towards him. Richard was not impressed when the first person Beth asked for when she came round was Mason and it was obvious she was getting more stressed because he wasn't there.  I think Jackie is more prepared for  Beth to have a boyfriend than Richard is.  I sometimes think it must be easier for whoever is actually going through a serious or life threatening condition than it is for their family and friends.  They have to feel so helpless, in most transplant situations a family member could be compatible be it lung, kidney liver even but when it comes to a heart there is only one way there can be a  donor. Not much comfort to them all but at least as Beth is now critical she will be at the top of the list. Double edged sword again for Mas because being a med student  he knows only too well what risks involved even in a standard procedure.

That could have either way for Brody by the way Scarlett was handling the questioning by the prosecution, everything he said was true, but her closing statement seemed to have clinched it in his favour.  She's still got it! His  family history naturally came as a shock to Ziggy who I was pleased to see turned up after a reminder from Irene.  Would have been so easy for Brody to take up where they left off but he made the right decision that they should keep their distance and she appeared to take it a lot better this time round. Damn just as Justin and Scarlett were about to celebrate in their own special way:wub: her husband turns up!  It would have been far too early for the trial and it's outcome to have appeared in the news surely?

Raffy seems to be losing it even more going by the trailers and who was that shadowy figure Maggie saw?

Thanks for that Matt, do we know if there will be a Christmas break in Australia and how long for?

Around £3000 for that particular model (a DJI Inspire 2 if anyone's really interested )

Huh. About the same amount as my new boiler.

There will be but with the haphazard Oz schedules it’s impossible to guess when. Best bet is it’ll finish some time in December and return in early February.

So…we finally get to spend time with the much-talked-about Caleb. I’m guessing he had his eye out for Scarlett’s name on any pending cases. He hasn’t done much to endear himself to us or Justin in the past, what with sending henchmen to bring Scarlett back by force, but I guess there must have been a reason for her to marry and have a child with him in the first place. I guess time will tell how much he’s reformed.

To be frank, the mix-up between Kat and Robbo was Marilyn’s fault. Kat seemed perfectly fine with a quiet birthday and Robbo not doing anything, but then Marilyn put the idea in her head that he was planning a surprise and she started seeing things that weren’t there and so ended up disappointed by something that she’d probably have been pleased about if Marilyn hadn’t built up her expectations. So now he has to make up for it…

Any sympathy I had for Maggie over Ziggy being a brat towards her while being all buddy-buddy with Ben (who has been far more unreasonable towards her) disappeared over her appalling self-righteous handling of Raffy. If she really was watching and somehow didn’t see Jennifer provoking her, then that shows how much the department were scraping the bottle of the barrel to find a principal available at short notice. But it really didn’t feel like things had escalated to the point of Raffy turning into a hooded intruder, making it come across as a plot device to trigger Maggie’s panic attack. By the way, I forgot to mention that the prosecutor said Raffy was 15 last episode, just a few months after she turned 14: Hard to tell if that was a mistake on his part (Brody and Scarlett would hardly correct him in the circumstances) or if she’s been SORASed out of a desperation to fit her in with the older teens.

So…are we meant to feel sorry for Ziggy? Because despite being nice to Maggie for just about the first time ever, she’s being an abject coward (her rant about Raffy “getting away with it” when Raffy’s just demonstrated far more decency than her was pathetic) and a terrible sister to Coco as usual, now putting yet more pressure on her. And that’s Ziggy’s three episodes for the week, so it’ll be a while before we get anything further. (They’re bound to wring a few weeks out of Coco knowing and no-one else doing, anyway…) At least it’s resulted in Raffy moving back home where she belongs: As I pointed out a while back, the reasons for her not being there have pretty much ended now Brody and Mason are back home. Justin isn’t the one who usually comes to her rescue but he was the one who made her birthday good so it works.

Nice to see the community pulling together to help Robbo and I love Leah struggling to keep up with Kat’s running while distracting her. A curiously unbilled Mirko Grillini as their observer there, last seen in HA as the hitman after Hugo back in 2010 and more recently seen in Neighbours as an ambiguously-accented priest. I’m tempted to say that it seems someone knows who Robbo is…but I guess if H&Alover’s theory is right, they might not!

Justin obviously hadn't forgotten Caleb sending two heavies to snatch Scarlett hence his attitude towards him and that is why he was wary about leaving her alone with him. Notice Scarlett didn't bring it up at all. He - Caleb - did say he followed the paper trail about her defending Brody so he must have some connection to the legal profession to know where to look. Yes Red there would have been love between Caleb & Scarlett and they had a son together.  I think Scarlett said at one point Caleb didn't handle it well and took to drink and wasn't as able as her to move on - well as much as you can after losing a child. He did come across to me as being truly sorry for his past behaviour and I'm pleased she heard him out. Kudos to Justin too for stepping back and giving her space even though Scarlett said she wanted to move on with him by  giving her and Caleb time to work it out they owe it to each other to perhaps draw a line under their past.

Poor Robbo he'd only just found out about Kat's birthday and give him his due he did make some sort of effort because Alf also planted the idea he ought to do something even though Kat said she only wanted a 'quiet' one. To be fair to Maz everyone put in their two pennyworth about what he should do.  Well he certainly did make up for it with the help of Justin , Leah & Scarlett.  Kat isn't a cop for nothing Leah & Maz's trying to stall her going home got her antenna twitching.:D Kat did look stunning in that dress or to quote Robbo WOW!  He didn't scrub up too bad either! That restaurant in the city was a fantastic place - anyone have any idea where they used?  Well at least it wasn't a ring in the box! Echoes of Justin & Phoebe  there. So who alerted the guy in the van that Robbo was where he was, it was a very short notice booking and unlikely it was in his name so maybe one of the staff recognised him from somewhere?  So now he'll be tailed back the bay and a decision will be made as to what to do with him. Remind me of my theory, I've had quite a few!  Robbo really has been accepted by the bay folk arranging for him being to properly spoil Kat who they have already taken to their hearts.

Did Jen really bang into Raffy deliberately or was just Raffy's thinking knowing how she feels about Jen, her shoving her back was not an 'accident'. Raffy is obviously feeling more out her depth than she is admitting and feeling abandoned by Coco which is the only reason I can think of for her retorts.  Did seem an overreaction for her to smash the window, then panic and break in and retrieve it unintentionally freaking out Maggie. She could have of course have had no idea of what Maggie had been through they haven't made it public knowledge. Maggie would have had every right to call the police it was vandalism, damage to public property and breaking and entering so Raffy did get off lightly.  As with Ziggy Raffy had no idea she'd be there, but at least she didn't run off and leave her. Coco was certainly very astute in joining the dots with Ziggy suddenly being all kind to Maggie when normally the atmosphere between them has been cool despite Maggie's best efforts. No fault on Maggie's side and explains Ziggy's rant at Raffy getting away with it - guilt because she did as I thought she may have.  Was the boyfriend Jarrod or someone else? Is that necklace something to do with it? Just what Coco doesn't need more pressure keeping the 'bad thing ' Ziggy did from their parents to stop the family falling apart. If as Ziggy remarked Coco was 11 when it happened it was four years ago which is a long time to keep such a secret to yourself - no wonder she's gone off the rails from time to time. Fall out from Coco knowing a long buried secret already showing - her binge eating then going to throw up this time spotted by Leah who may not be as easily put off as it being food poisoning as VJ was.

As said one good outcome is Raffy is back home - think it was a continuity boob about her age - as lovely as Maz & John have been not the same as home and they will always welcome her back. Things are back to normal, well as normal as it will ever be at the Morgan's - so good time for her to return.  She is feeling left out, Coco is a part friend, Jen wasn't, just making fun of her.

Seems Mason oversteps the mark given by the rollicking he got from Tori - putting his career on the line - again!

No it was one she had before Jarred, his name was Pete and the necklace was given to her by Brody when they were together.

That he's working for Dylan's father...which could mean they don't know any more than McCarthy and co.

Anyway.Difficult situation with Coco and I don't envy Leah and Tori. It's hard not to feel that this is going to end with them being blasted by Ben whatever they do.I think for the moment what they're doing is the lesser of two evils. If they betray Coco's trust, then she's likely to become even further withdrawn and isolated, whereas at least this way there's a chance that they can monitor things and stop them from getting too far out of hand.Coco's not willing to admit just how serious it is though.Nice to see Leah putting some of her old school counsellor skills to use, shame she lost the job.Meanwhile, it's usually Marilyn interfering in relationships and John wanting to go home and read the paper, but John does have a tactless side so it felt in character for him to be the one sticking his oar in with Ash and Kat.The date ultimately went well until they didn't quite seem to work out how to end it.(This is what happens when you appear to be inexplicably sharing a room with your infant niece...)

Meanwhile, Olivia has actually come up with a workable way of keeping her business afloat but it's meant betraying Irene who is definitely not happy...

Thanks for that Christine & Red!

That casual mention to VJ about Coco being sick and his response got her mum antenna twitching hence her going round to see her. I'm glad she persuaded her to speak to a doctor, did it have to be Tori? Tori can't say anything as Coco is 16 but Leah isn't bound by the same ethical code but Leah in my mind came to the right decision after an obvious struggle with her conscience.  She's given Coco an option next time she feels tempted to binge eat whether she takes her up on it is another matter. Another plus is two adults now know so Jen doesn't have a hold over her anymore. Sounds like the same story that bulimia and anorexia sufferers give, everything else in their life is out of their control and  binge eating being sick or not eating is something they can control until it starts to control you.

Leah knew Tori was going on her date with Ash but still interrupted it with her phone call about Coco.  Tori being Tori of course dashes off. Have to say Ash was very patient about the whole thing from John chucking his drink over him, drying him down in the loo - mind boggles about what anyone would have thought if they had gone in the gents!  Then Tori rushes off and nearly didn't go back until Leah urged her to.  I don't see a problem with Ash sharing with Luc, makes it easier all round for everyone should she wake in the night.

Olivia obviously didn't think through her plan - of course the bank statement will go to Irene, she's the one who has control, if that is the right word,  of the Trust Fund. It didn't take either Irene or Hunter a nano second to know who it was who had 'stolen' the money seeing as Olivia has been taking new orders, getting her uni friends to make up the dresses - $250 a go for how many? Actually I was more worried about her flashing all that cash about in public, all sorts of dodgy types in the bay.
