Just a quick question... Gina when looking through the school files mentioned a 2006 earthquake.. I don't remember this at all?? Is this just an error in the script and it should be 1996? (or whenever the big quake was when the school collapsed) or have I missed a vital part of the plot? or are we just supposed to believe there was a quake in 2006 and it just wasn't shown on screen??

Yup I posted this earlier in the QQ thread:

There wasn't one - bad continuity again.

There was a small tremor in 2008 however but we didn't see it on screen - it was that that caused the fault from the 1996 earthquake to open up underneath the diner, and also the thing that unearthed the time capsule.

Pretty sure they at least referred to the tremor on screen, but even if it wasn't I know that was the cause anyway.

Edit: Yes they did refer to it onscreen

Just have to say I loved Casey punching Heath and telling him off the other day! :D As I said, it won't be long before Casey's big enough to take him on...

I also loved Romeo and Sid's discussion about what was bothering them: Harvey. Those two are becoming quite friendly after all the palaver about the Indi/ Ruby situation. I think they've done the right thing making Romeo 'a married man', it fits his age and size better than being a schoolboy.

Although I don't condone that behaviour I did kind of raise an eyebrow in the wow sense and I smirked at Heath just taking it. The thing that made me laugh most about the Casey/Heath stuff was the way Heath had a new found respect for Casey when he realised he was the one who started the fire - again not condoning it in the slightest.

I actually really like the Sid/Romeo relationship at the moment. Stark contrast to Sid's pathological hatred for Romeo after the Romeo/Ruby night of passion. Nothing like a common foe to unite two people! If I was Romeo I would be having serious doubts about Harvey although Alf doesn't seem to think there is a problem in that sense.

Man Gypsy is so annoying. I really can't stand the woman. I hate the way she puts on that fake, stupid, ridiculous smile. Someone should just stick some gaffa tape across her mouth. Can't the River Boys do it? I really, really dislike Colleen but for once am in agreement with her. The ONLY reason Gypsy is even with Mark is because of the size of his bank balance. Otherwise she wouldn't touch him with a ten foot bargepole. Selfish once again. Wanting Lily to sleep on the couch so she could have a raunchy night of passion. Incidentally I don't blame Mark. I actually feel quite sorry for him. He's trying his best with Lily but she clearly doesn't like him and is not interested in anything he has to do. And he's being used for the sole purpose that he's well off.

Another character who is equally annoying at the moment is Sasha but at least she's has the excuse of being a brat. Hated the way she kept quiet about Roo's date re Sid just so she could punish him simply because Felix wasn't allowed to stay. Jumped up little madam. Certainly not a Roo fan but I'm glad Sid called Sasha out on the fact that she was more focused about getting him back than she was about the person who you could argue shouldn't of even given her another chance but did, against her former lover's wishes. It's frustrating as well because I know there is potential for Sasha's character, just really take exception to the way she is with Sid at the moment.

Stupid question coming up. OK so last night when Elijah arrived at Leah's, she told him she'd miscarried the baby. I've seen that happen in quite a few drama/soaps before. The thing I don't understand is how would the woman automatically know she's miscarried the baby without seeking medical advice from a specialist.

Anyway, if there is a miscarriage, I really hope this isn't a plot device to facilitate a reunion of Leah and Elijah.

Poor Leah, I don't know. It does seem a strange storyline: is it to break up her and Miles? Give her another chance with Elijah? It makes me think that the writers are going by what the fans think: maybe people preferred Elijah/Leah to Miles/Leah

Maybe Leah has miscarried before so she knows what's happened. She has given birth so she would know how labour pains felt. And if there was massive blood loss she would probably realise she'd lost the baby. Thank god VJ was there to look after her and call someone.

Loved the Gina/ John/ Miles/ Bianca pressuring Steiner to admit what had happened with the school. I foresee a 'new school' set in the next few weeks/ months :D About time, I was fed up with that school.

I too thought Gypsy was selfish making Lily sleep on the couch, but I'm lucky, I've got a husband. Single mums need time with their boyfriends so I can't blame her too much.

Without being too morbid and following on from Miranda's explanation; at 12 weeks Leah would have been able to see the baby. Even thought it would have been really tiny.

As a Gypsy fan, I do rather feel the need to defend her here.I think calling her a gold digger is going a bit far.Maybe his wealth does have something to do with it but if that was all she was interested in then she wouldn't be expressing such obvious disappointment at not being able to spend time with him, she'd be quite happy accepting his expensive gifts and then sending him on his way.And I don't want to defend Gypsy by bashing Mark because I don't think he's a bad person either. It comes across to me as both of them wanting the relationship to work, for themselves and for Lily, but not really being able to do it.Mark's too busy to give either of them the attention they need so has to resort to lightning visits and expensive presents to make up for it.Gypsy, for all his supposed wealth, is probably struggling looking after Lily on her own and doesn't seem to have matured that much in the last few years, so probably sees him mainly as a sweet man who can look after them. It's not ideal and I'm not sure it will work out but I can't really bring myself to dislike either of them.Or Lily, who might be acting up and being a bit of a brat at times but is obviously missing Will and just doesn't see Mark as any sort of replacement father figure.
