See what you could do is have a poll and get everyone to post who they voted for or just get people to post the names.

We did that too . It's just to much work with it really, people forgot the poll and poeple had trouble with the poll. The poll dosen't really change anything

With the poll idea,I never thought about people voting for themselves..I suppose that is abit of a big problem.

But do people need to give reasons?

Shouldnt we try no reasons for once,Unless you want to give feedback and see how many votes is given then and if it makes a difference.

When we started the contest we wanted reasons becau se the JM hype was still going and we didn't want people to vote for (ex) JM because they liked them. Instead we wanted reasons other then "My votes goes to nr 6 because I like the couple/ I like it" now, I'm not saying that we're strict on that or that people have to say exactly why they choose that avatar, but adding a reason why they choose it is somehow better for the creators too. Like "My vote goes to nr 6 because I think it looked the best and the textures/font/brush/colour on it is fantastick, but I didn't really like the text/brush that's been used"..

We could always make a poll about the poll in the *this* thread

I agree with Marieh. No polls. Been there done that got the t-shirt.

Also, reasons are important if everyone just said i like 6 and gave no reason whatsoever how would you know what they liked about it?

Its not that no one agrees with that its just that no one wants to give a big long reason!

It doesn't have to be long. Can be short and precise.

Like I love the coloring and the cropping is gorgeous now to me that isn't long but to others hmm i don't know that could be really long.

People just say then

'I love the colouring and cropping' for the sake of giving a reason.

But then theres not much of having a poll because people will just vote for maybe the person in the av they like, because they know they dont have to give a reason.

I dont think there really is going to be away to solve it.

Polls could get more people to vote,But that may just be people voting for the character they like and some artists like to have comment on their work.

But even getting people to write comments doesnt stop them from voting for the character they like,They will just copy what is in the post before them about colour and croping.

Anyway,It is now the 14th,So today is the end.

Its 1pm UK time and at 4pm UK time i wont be accepting anymore work and i will then put the contest up..Thats 3 hours from whenever this post is made for those not in the UK.
