Instead of a contest when one avatar wins... what about a 'Guess who made the avatar' comp. Something along the lines of, everyone sends an avatar (whether the theme was specified or not, I really wouldnt care) to a certain person, and they post them, then everyone has a go at guessing who made which avatar, saying what they like about each avatar, and what could be improved. While that sounds a little time consuming, I think it would be more fun for everyone, and you'd get a fair bit of feedback on your avatar. And then, the person that guessed the most avatars right could have a go at setting the comp, whether they are an avatar maker or not. But its just an idea... no one needs to like it.
Elise Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Personally, I like the idea, could put a bit of fun in it, and it seems less judgemental on the process! I'm all for feedback, good and bad, and also knowing what I can improve on, so I'm for it.
