Since the Avatar Contest voting should have closed on June 7, 2013 with votes still being received until June 23, 2013 and no winner announcement has been made, I have taken the liberty as a member of staff and a Librarian to make sure that this contest concludes and that the results of the winning entrant, the runner-up and all participants are posted. Would all contestants please resend your entries to QUIET ACHIEVER via PM by Monday 5 August 2013 – 10 pm AEST (1 pm GMT) at the latest.

Thanks to watchtowersing for initially hosting the contest. Good luck to the next host of the next contest and to all those members wishing to enter the next contest. When Hosting An Avatar Contest When given the opportunity to host an Avatar Contest, would the intended host(s) please think carefully on whether they are willing to follow through with their hosting duties and their availability before signing up to becoming a host. If the winner of any Avatar contest is not willing to host the next one, then the onus falls either on the runner-up or other entrants to host the contest - but only if they are willing to do so. If for any reason one is unable to complete their hosting duties would they please contact a staff member immediately, whether it be a Moderator or Librarian or even Admin, so that the contest can run smoothly. Hosting an Avatar Contest is not a huge responsibility but it is an important one and Avatar contests are run by member for members to participate in. Please keep this in mind.
