Yeah, professional... and nicer. There's something about Contest that just screams 'mean, harsh, cruel' to me. Where as Challenge... I don't know... its more inviting and warm.

And now I've turned it into an english lesson... *looks down*

I completley agree! In a ''contest, there are sometimes those moments where people are "worried" or don't enter because they think that they have no chance against others who will enter (ok maybe not, but you get my point?), where as 'challenge' isn't like that. Challenge is just...challenging yourself? I don't know..

Yeah. Challenges are more for yourself. Thats why I like the idea of either not having an avatar/icon contest, and having a banner, wallpaper or blend comp instead, or having a LIMS (Last icon maker standing) because three icons means you can show more than one style, and show people what you really can do.

But again, we need more then two peoples opinions to get it sorted out.

For the LIMS? There's a set time frame when people vote. Say, four days. And the one with the most votes goes, and the rest advance to the next round. I fairly sure thats how it works at least

I love the idea, just one thing. Wouldn't it take quite a while to finish? That's why i think it should be seperate?

Yeah. But its only an idea at this stage. Plus Cat and I were tossing around two ideas in one. One was the LIMS, the other was a different kind of contest, whether it be belnd, sig. In the end, I think it comes down to Flight-of-Archangel and what he wants.

I was also toying with the idea of a H&A LIMS community on LJ, but I don't know how many members here have LJ's or whether it would be popular enough to bother.
