MarMar Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I spent a couple of hour on mine, but ended up doing something else, which turned out great, if I can say so myself. At least that's what I think. Only problem now is that I've got 8 nearly identical versions - they only differ a bit when it comes to brush color and stroke ("frame") - Can't decide which one to submit.

Save the image. 2. Open in PS/program 3. Go to edit --> define brush preset It's now a brush! I'm sure any of them would be great! I'm very scared now that you're entering.. You shouldn't be. I'm not as good as people like to think.

For Photoshop Copy and paste them (one at a time!) onto a new 100x100 pixel canvas (Ctrl + N) then go to Edit > Define brush, at the end of that name (it will probs say something like Sample Brush123 or whatever) type .abr and click Save or Ok or whatever it is...it should then be in your brushes thingy Hope that helps

aejdude Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Mar, you are good and you are modest and i know your's will be fab! i just hope mine lives up to the standard of the contest. Saying that though, i've already won one contest so it doesn't seem as bad when you don't get anywhere. I always tweak my avatars at the last minute, and then can't decide what one to enter, i guess it is just choosing the right variation because on the contest i won it was down to the variation i chose to enter so really it just depends on your judgement on what one you think would have the better chance but it's so hard to choose because people are so unpredictable like you could think " i'm really proud with this" and then the contest comes and it doesn't get any votes.
