Amy, i'm with you i like the quote one the best.

If we do a home&away one, you can guarantee most of the avatars will be Jack or Martha on their own or together so i'm not too keen on that.

That's what I thought but what if J/M and a few others...perhaps Maddie/Tasha were banned...or there were only certain ones you were allowed to do? Just an idea, I don't mind what we do

I was thinking that the characters/people displayed had to be in the show before 2004 and leaving before 2005 or something, and then realized that it would be a problem when it came to screencaps/pictures for most people.

You could strip the entire contest of actual characters/persons, and simply leave it as a quote in an icon, and see what people manage to come up with? And if everyone has the same quote... then it's totally based on your creative skills rather than who/what is in the avatar...

Or does that sound too crazy?

I think i'd still prefer to do the quote one, it's interesting and different from the others.

Or I'll give you a bunch of quotes, and you have to make an avatar which has the quote on it, or somehow represents it.

My explanation

Basically, the host gives say 10 different quotes for you (the entrant) to choose from and you have to either base the avatar you make on it or create an avatar with the quote itself on it.

An example of a quote could be:

"She didn't have a care in the world"

And then the avatar must either be based on that quote or have it written on it.

Except, there will be a number of quotes to choose from, not just one or two. (10 was just an example.)

That's how i have understood it.

Emily, as you are the host it's up to you what topic you go with. If i was the host, i would just say let's go with the quote one and see how many entries we get you only really need a few for it to be a contest as such and quite a few seem interested, so the ones that are interested enter and the ones that aren't just wait until the next one i guess.

I'm really liking the Quote idea and I think it could work very well.
