Because of the man who plays Burke and the whole gay situation. He didn't like how it was handled.

Its obvious in American eps how he's leaving. He's practically already gone.

He can go any time he likes . I thought it was really rough how he treated Addison to begin with.

I like him... in small doses. He can be so.. urgh at times I just don't like the way that he stayed with Addison eventhough he was in love with Meredith. He stayed with Addison because he was married to her. But he didn't try to work things out with Addison.

Lol, I can't help it. I'm an Addison fan.

I'm not overly keen on Derek either. I loved him in the first series, but after he got back with Addison he treated both her and Meredith appallingly. I get that he was trying to do the right thing, but he screwed it up badly. He led Meredith on the whole way through series 2 instead of leaving her to get on with her life, and then had the cheek to call her a whore when she slept with other people! I found him really smarmy and arrogant in that series. Go with the vet, that's what I say.
