I've grown to quite like Louise and Calvin as a couple even though i was never really a fan of either character but i have a horrible feeling

Sean

coming back will push her and Warren together and i honestly think they will be unbearable to watch as a couple.

And i wish Sarah would just blurt it out to Craig that Leah is not her baby sister but her niece, it's driving me mad the way everyone's refering to it as Sarah's new little sister. And i know we're supposed to feel sorry for Amy but she does herself no favours always shouting and snapping at people. It's just annoying. I really want her to snap out of it and stand up to Kathy.

I agree about the Louise and Warren thing. I wasn't keen on the idea at first but it's growing on me now. I think it's just because I find Calvin utterly boring lol. In fact I find all 3 of the Valentine's annoyingly boring, so yes, lets get rid of them all! (sorry :P)

For some reason the scenes between Sarah and Craig made me cringe. It's not just because I dont like them as a couple, they just dont do it for me. I think Sarah's a bit unfair actually. After Craig and JP kissed, she wouldn't give him the time of day, even when he tried to explain it to her and needed her to understand, yet she expects him to be there when she needs a shoulder to cry on? No wonder I grew to like the idea of Craig and JP!

Louise and Warren would make one of Hollyoaks worst couples ever (along with Justin/Becca, Justin/Sasha, Clare/Max etc). I'll have to stop watching again like i did for almost all of last year.

I agree the Valentines are boring beyond belief. They are the Owens all over again and i couldn't stand them.

Nicole/Sasha: Whiney, miserable, stalked Justin, childish little brats.

Carrie/Diane: Both seemed stuck up and unpleasant

Rob/Leo: Rob was slightly nicer but still as uniteresting and pointless as Leo

Russ/Calvin: The most likeable out of their families but still really dull. Just eye candy really.

Sam/Sonny: Annoying, misery personified, deeply unlikeable with anger management issues.

Thw writers need to find better ideas for new families living in Hollyoaks rather than getting rid of one and replacing it with an identical one.

That's true. Personally, I think bringing in the Valentine's was one of the worst things they did. Like, for example, the mum. Why bring her in just to kill her off? It was nothing but a poor excuse for Sasha, Sonny and Calvin to constantly argue and whinge at one another.

I'm not keen on many of the families in Hollyoaks. Except for the Deans/Osborne clan. The others are all pathetic. There's the Valentine's that have no chemistry and just have attitude problems. There's the Ashworth's who NEVER seem to spend any time together, I haven't seen 2 Ashworth's in the same room for AGES! The Barnes who baffle me completely. They either argue constantly and move someone out, or they attempt to sort through their problems, unfortunetly with bad actors and lets be honest, nobody has a mother like Kathy!

Oh and of course, the McQueens, but it's hard NOT to like them when they have the greatness that are JP, Carmel and Jacqui!

It wouldnt be hollyoaks without them! :P

Bringing in the McQueens was, in my opinion, one of the best things they've done. They're such a breath of fresh air to the show! It helped that they were introduced in stages too, instead of just throwing them all in at once and having us learn about them all at the same time. Normally, they bring a family in together, and it's such fuss trying to get to know them all.

I like the McQueens as a family as it shows the show trying out new formulas giving the show a different feel. It's also given me two characters i now love (John Paul and Tina) and the rest have their moments by they are all really entertaining in their own way. They have loads of potential as a family as individual characters

The McQueens, to me, made up for where The Ashworths and The Barnes (Who I think were the last 2 families brought in before them) lacked. They were close, funny and generally great. I always feel that sometimes teh Barne's and Ashworth's don't have ANY 'family' values. I mean, the Barnes (Mainly because of Kathy) Are just a bad family. And The Ashworth's generally don't have any chemistry. Plus I don't think I've ever seen Hannah and Neville in the same scene. Which is strange. I see my dad everyday....

The Ashworths would be better if they seemed a bit closer. I don't think i've ever seen Rhys, Hannah and Josh all together or actually being nice to each other. They just don't seem like a family, they seem like individual characters. I mean Hannah found out her boyfriend was gay and neither of her brothers bothered comforting her or seeing if she was ok. And it is strange that you never see Neville as i too see my Dad everyday. :)
