I get why she'd think it was wrong, but saying that Becca was ten times the person Nancy is was bang out of order. Becca shacked up with a schoolboy after having an affair, she was no saint! I'm annoyed at the way they've changed Tina. I know she's always been the quiet one that doesnt get the storyline's, but they've made her even worse now she's married! If that's what marriage does to you, I'd rather not! Although I do agree with why she's so off with Mercedes. And just when I thought Katy couldn't get any worse, she does! The way she was banging on about the legal system like she was qualified! Seriously, can we just get rid of her, and take Justin with her? He's no use anymore..... And I love the whole storyline involving Jacqui and Tony. I thought I'd hate it because it was just like Mandy all over again, but Nick and Clare have done amazing jobs acting it out.
Danifan Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 They've changed Tina from the quiet, brainy one to the boring, whingey one. Give her some big storylines and stop focusing on Mercedes, Jacqui and John Paul. Her and Dom seem to be the least seen characters in the show which is annoying as i really like them. I'd love a Russ/Tina forbidden love storyline as well, but from the spoilers it sounds like he suddenly fancies Carmel. Another example of how Tina is never given anything to do. Even worse news as if Leo, Calvin and Sasha weren't annoying enough there are two more Valentines, Danny and Lauren arriving (Leo's other kids). Great
paulli75 Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Good on Mercedes for standing up for Warren in court. It may have cost her marriage but I'm pleased to see that her conscience got the better of her & she done the right thing! The look on Claire's face was absolutely priceless!

As for John-Paul and Craig, are they going for the longest most repetitive story in Hollyoaks history? It's the same every episode - sleep together-run back to Sarah-don't tell anyone-poor JP etc etc. The girl who plays Katy is the worst actress IMO, she conveys no emotions. Apart from that I do actually like the show.

I don't know if it's supposed to be the way the character is, but it seems like Katy's meant to come off as some kind of innocent or vulnerable, but the actress really can't act and overplays it, which just turns out stupid. I prefer the Hannah stuff anyway. Is it wrong that I like Melissa?

Can't wait for this, this storyline is the only thing worth watching for at the moment. I've grown to like Warren (well he hates Justin so what's not to like) and i've re-found some of the reasons i used to like Louise again, yet i really don't like them as a couple. They seem to have no chemistry when they're all lovey dovey. Better as enemies. I'm still hoping in vain for Russ to realise he loves Tina not Mercedes or Carmel. I want a Dom/Tina/Russ love triangle not a Mercedes/Russ/Carmel one.

I think that accolade can safely go to the serial killer storylines which, all in all, spanned about three years, each year having a slightly different angle, but each year having the storyline going around in endless circles.....and what did they do when they finally found out Dan was innocent? Killed him off......

If somebody announces that your sister has anorexia, is the best response to accuse her of attention seeking and shrug it off like it's no big deal. They should try thinking about someone else for once in their lives. And i've given the whole Jake/Nancy thing a chance but they are just gross, it's just wrong, wrong, wrong. Same for Russ/Carmel. They have no chemistry. Russ falling for oblivious Tina would make a much better storyline. Even though i don't like Sasha or Michaela, i strangely quite like the Michaela/Fletch/Sasha love triangle but i'm not really sure why?
