Monday 10 September

Sarah's engagement news sets the village abuzz with excitement, but Craig's heart sinks as he ponders John Paul finding out. Though they hold serious doubts, both Mike and Jack find themselves swept along by the euphoria. At a party Frankie quickly rustles up to celebrate, an apologetic Craig has his work cut out explaining to John Paul how he loves both Sarah and him.

For John Paul, it is the ultimate act of betrayal. Despite his despair, he manages to get Craig in a passionate clinch upstairs at The Dog. But John Paul has an agenda and a plan to separate Sarah and Craig forever...

Meanwhile, Danny looks like a kid loose in a sweetshop when he and Calvin drop in the Dog for a drink only to find there is an engagement party. Calvin has to admit that Danny's certainly got the gift of the gab when he works the room flirting outrageously with the females. But, a smitten Danny only has eyes for one woman - Mercedes.

Elsewhere, It’s Katy's birthday and Justin's ashamed of the tiny present he can afford to buy her. Though she loves it, Justin's aggrieved when Warren shoves it aside to display the expensive gift he got for his sister. Warren and Louise take Katy and Justin out to celebrate and announce the news that they are buying The Loft. His memories still vivid of their past relationship as boss and employee, Justin is affronted when Warren invites him to work for him at The Loft. A fight erupts between them and ruins Katy's special day.

Sarah's engagement party comes to a shuddering halt when she finds Craig upstairs in bed with John Paul. It's a chaotic scene as a distraught Sarah has to be pulled away as she reins blow after blow on Craig. Craig's denial of his gay relationship rings hollow as John Paul admits to it in the presence of party guests. A sickened Frankie turns on John Paul for corrupting Craig, while Mercedes quits her job in support of her brother. When John Paul turns up outside the pub, Craig takes out his anger and frustration on him. Having had them both, it looks like Craig's going to end up all alone.

Meanwhile, Warren and Justin decide to call a truce for Katy's sake. The birthday party for Katy relocates to The Loft where a morose Clare turns down Warren's offer to buy the club. Clare is left a little shaken as Warren makes dark threats about pushing people off balconies. Pulling herself together, Clare collars Justin and reminds him she could reveal he lied about not going to court for Warren.

Elsewhere, Mercedes is amused by Danny's charms. However, Danny is undeterred as she warns him he is batting outside his league. But her resolve seems about to crumble as he makes flattering remarks about how she defended her brother. Mercedes is beginning to melt under the onslaught of compliments.

It's all lovey dovey between Warren and Louise as Warren goes into romantic mode. Louise wonders about this nice guy act but Warren assures her that he's serious about proving himself to her. But Louise's buoyant mood proves to be short-lived. Spying her walking through the village, Clare provokes Louise about how her abortion has tainted her relationship with Warren. Expecting a romantic evening, Warren's bewildered when a stony-faced Louise quizzes him over his thoughts about the abortion and claims Clare is right – they shouldn't be together.

Meanwhile, a distraught Sarah stuns Nancy by declaring she still loves Craig - despite his betrayal. When Craig visits her to explain himself, she tries to convince him they can salvage their relationship by going to Dublin. John Paul, however, is shattered by Nancy's bombshell that Craig's at Sarah's begging her to take him back. Unaware that Craig has told Sarah he wants John Paul, John Paul refuses to open the door when Craig visits...

Elsewhere, Sasha is already missing her dad and is worrying whether or not he's going to come back. Getting no sympathy from her half sister, she wonders whether Lauren is normal. She is perturbed to come home from school and find her sitting together and writing songs with Fletch. Still peeved with him over his grope with Michaela, Sasha shows him the door. The sisters seem to strike a bond as they begin writing songs about him. This could be the start of a beautiful friendship between the sisters.

Thursday 13 September (this spoiler is listed as 14th but think it should be for the 13th)

Clare is determined not to sell The Loft to Warren but she is reeling from his heavy-handed tactics to wrestle it from her. Feeling the pressure, she offers it to Max but is bluntly turned down. When Clare breaks down and cries, he pities her. Clare decides she has no choice as Max urges her to give in to Warren if he is so determined to have The Loft. Clare accepts his offer to escort her to Warren and witness the contract signing. It looks like Max is willing to protect Clare, but she is unsure whether his actions completely honourable.

Meanwhile, Everyone's on edge at the McQueens' and the Osbornes' after the engagement fiasco. Frankie is anxious for Craig to sort things out with Sarah. Myra feels sorry for her son's pain but demands he stay away from Craig for Sarah's sake. When they meet in the village, it doesn't take much to get the families to square up and trade insults. As they bicker, Craig and John Paul re-unite and take the opportunity to slip away unnoticed. As the dust settles, the families are resigned to the situation - Craig and John Paul are back together.

Elsewhere, Calvin and Danny are growing closer and Calvin's gutted when it looks like Lauren and Danny are moving to Greece to be with their mum. Danny would rather stay, but when Calvin lends him the money to go, he thinks it's to get rid of him. Assuming Lauren hates it in Hollyoaks and can't wait to leave, it comes as quite a shock when she finally speaks up.

Friday 14th September (this is listed as 15th but seeing as hollyoaks isnt on a Saturday think this should be for friday!)

John Paul wonders if Craig is ready to face the outside world. He's noticed that Craig is glad to play the happy couple with no one around but moves away too quickly when people appear. As Darren's relentless gay-baiting drives him up the wall, Craig loses it and takes a swing at him but is pulled away by John Paul. Although John Paul reassures him Darren will tire of the jokes, Craig is clearly bothered. He comes up with a decision which he thinks is a perfect solution for both him and John Paul.

Meanwhile, Calvin's not happy that his father's back but Sasha is so glad to see Leo that he's forced to abandon plans to throw him out. Danny wonders why Calvin is so hard on Leo and convinces him that he's not a bad person but just a disappointment! Just as everyone is getting used to having Leo around, it seems he's not happy living in chaos.

Thanks for the spoilers. Thank goodness Craig's leaving soon, no more boring JP/Craig nonsense.

It didn't take a genius to work out that Claire wasn't dead! I saw that one coming a mile off when Max couldn't reach her! Poor guy thinks it's his fault that she "drowned"!

I'm glad Clare didn't die in the end, hopefully one day she'll come back and kill Justin (what a lovely thought). Although i hated her when she was mean to Max, OB and Tom i loved her kidnapping and almost killing that whiney whingebag Katy.

And i loved her lines during the hostage drama:

Warren: What have you done to Her?

Clare: She's a hostage, that's what she's supposed to look like!

And not forgetting about Justin:

Clare: Kick him. Hard!

Love it

Can't say i'll miss Craig though, never liked him. Hopefully he'll never come back.

 I agree with you completely, on all accounts.

At first I wanted them to leave Clare's fate as a mystery with that shot like someone was watching them from afar during the hostage episode - but then I couldn't help but grin when she turned up at the airport - it was so unexpected and cool. I thought it was Craig arriving at Dublin at first.

BTW, did you watch Hollyoaks: In the City when it was on? Because I can't help but think Miles was one of the snuff perverts who was watching Lisa in the private room doing the pole dancing at Stella's club.

I did watch Hollyoaks In The City. He could have been in it. To be honest the only person i ever watched it for was Gucci (love Elaine Tan  ). She was brilliant, they should have used her so much more than whiney Debbie, annoying Josh and horrible Polly. Give her her own spin off.
