carmelle Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Ok I'm confused now... Why are people now saying Justin maybe Charlie's real father? I thought a paternity test proved Jake was the father? I always thought Justin being the father would be better for the kid...well, eventually!!!
Reo Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Jake told everyone that Charlie was his, but then we were shown him sitting in the dark looking down at the results..I dont think it was clear if the had opened them or not, but he then hid them in a drawer. If he had opened them and did that, that proves that Justin is the father. But Jake didnt want that to happen for whatever reason..Bonding with Charlie or wanting to keep apart of Becca. If he didnt open them, then it leaves it open to be either of them.. But with it being a soap the chances are high that it could be Justin's baby just to cause a big drama and storyline. But no-one other than Jake held the test results.
xGlowingAngelx Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 I feel bad for Charlie. Having either of them as his father is tragic. We've got Jake that's just going bonkers and Justin that's still a kid himself. But in the long run, I think Justin is better to raise Charlie.

I think when it comes to Charlie he would change to make sure that he is alright. I remember the episode where him and Sonny stole Jake's car not knowing that Charlie was in the back. That was a good scene with him and Charlie. Jake is a bad father, the way he acts and treats other people and Nancy and Becca.. He is a bad guy with a bad temper.

He has no money, no home, no real family, or friends for that matterv and he's proved how immature he is time and time again and when Charlie does ask about his mother, he's hardly going to be delighted that 'daddy' was responsible for getting her killed. I think Mike Barnes can rest assured his 'Best Dad in Hollyoaks' crown is safe. I'm still missing my Russ/Tina scenes. I know they're still awkward around each other but is one scene too much to ask for. I'm becoming as obsessed about these two becoming a couple as some of the JP/Craig fans are!!! Plus Russ is in danger of becoming a good looking spare part, so a love affair with his estanged wife's so called 'plain' sister is just the thing to give him something to do. I'm quite pleased Beth's left, i couldn't warm to her. I prefered Sarah Rhys to be honest as a couple. And the sooner someone slaps Lauren the better. She's definately stolen Sasha's 'Most annoying Valentine'Crown.

LMAO. You know what, I was thinking exactly the same yesterday. He was responsible for ruining her life AND, in a way, her death. And if Charlie takes after Justin, that'll be enough to send him off the rails too. But I do think Justin will attempt to be good at it and with Katy leaving He'll be on his own anyway. I'm interested to see how he'll raise him, because like you say, he has no money, no job and no real home. The only way it'll work is if he went to live with Liz, which wont happen, given that Chris Fountain in contracted until May at least.

Why does Calvin keep arresting his siblings? When you all live in the same house it's hardly going to make you very popular. And the whole Fletch/Sasha drugs thing just annoys me, i prefered them when they were goody two shoes without any storylines.
