I miss him too, he was really loving and great.

Director?Atleast thats good for Matt

Apparently he and the guy that plays OB are going to do some TV presenting - a bit like Ant and Dec - I think they'd be really good at that - they were so funny on the show!

^^ That would be great! They work so well together!

From what I've heard he's been working behind the scenes for some time.

Everyones acting has been fantastic through out the last few episodes, I hope next year this storyline is in the running for a BSA! It truly deserves one.

I just sat and watched tonights E4. I was out so I had to record it.

The acting was absolutely amazing from all those invoved in the wedding. Really superb. OB breaking down on Tony's shoulder was so beautiful and heartbreaking. And Tom and OB's scene made me blub.

Also, I love that Sugababes song that Steph put on in the flat, now I'll never be able to listen to it again :(. lol.

Tony flipping out was brilliantly thought up. Tony is one of those that has known Max the longest and although they may have thought the other was annoying from time to time, you could tell the friendship behind it was genuine.

Anyone else really want to smack both Kieron & John Paul? I know they're both upset, but I felt they were feeling sorry for themselves more than anything. And JP using Max's death as an 'example' for why he and Kieron SHOULD be together was completely unjustified. And very out of character. Had this happened a year ago, JP would have been straight home to his family because he'd have felt THEY should have come first. I hate what they've done to the characater and I'm fast losing respect for him.

Oh and special mention for Darren getting upset . Even though he can be incredibly selfish and heartless, he always seems to come through for his family. He was exactly the same with Craig after the affair had been revealed. Even though they're not related to him by blood, it's soobvious he genuinly loves the Deans like they were his family. I can see him really being a rock for Steph over the next few episodes or whatever.

I've been almost crying every day since knowing what was going to happen about 1 month ago! The last few episodes have been so moving! As soon as I heard Steph's vows to Max thats when I really started to cry! It was the line, Everyday I will love you like it's our last one together! I've been crying ever since! Everyone's acting throughout this storyline has been fantastic. I agree with every comment made my Amy.

The way JP acted to me was out of character. I don't like this self centred side to him!

EXCLUSIVE: James Sutton quits 'Hollyoaks'

Monday, June 30 2008, 12:59 BST

Digital Spy

Hollyoaks favourite James Sutton has quit the Channel 4 soap, Digital Spy can exclusively confirm.

The 25-year-old, who has captured the hearts of millions since 2006 playing the role of gay student John Paul McQueen, will bow out of the soap in September for pastures new.

His exit will naturally coincide with the brief return of Guy Burnet as John Paul's old flame Craig Dean, who makes a comeback in a bid to rekindle their romance.

When John Paul sees Craig again for the first time since Craig left for Trinity College, Dublin, his life is thrown into complete disarray. His feelings for Craig begin to resurface and he's forced to make the biggest decision of his life - stay with his fiancé, Father Kieron Hobbs (Jake Hendriks), or reunite with his former love.

The situation soon takes a sinister and fatal twist, however, resulting in Craig moving one step closer to the sunset ending he returned for.

Speaking of his decision to quit, Sutton said: "I’ve had a really great time working on Hollyoaks but after much thought I’ve decided that it’s time to bring it to an end."

He continued: "I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Bryan Kirkwood and everyone at Hollyoaks for making my time here so memorable. I’m also really grateful to the viewers for their continued support and commitment to the character and the storyline."

Producer Bryan Kirkwood added: "In two short years, James Sutton has achieved amazing success in his role as John Paul McQueen.

"His sensitive and honest portrayal of a young man coming to terms with his sexuality and dealing with the aftermath has captivated viewers and critics, won many awards and has been at the heart of Hollyoaks' recent success. James will, I’m sure, go on to great things."

Sutton films his final scenes in July and will depart on screen in September.

Earlier this year, John Paul and Craig's affair storyline was honoured at the Stonewall awards.

:(:(:(

For no more James onscreen.

BUT Yay

for a perfect happy ending for JP and Craig. Looks like it does go this way. Yay. Yay. Yay.

Guess how excited I am? :P:wub:

It's a shame James is leaving, because he's a very talented actor and ti will be sad to see him go. However, the storyline's he's had since Craig's departure have been so naff and desperate that I think he's made the right choice to leave and go onto something better, like he deserves.

So with Kieron's fate still uncertain, Craig returning for late nighter and hoping to reunite with JP, will they FINALLY get their Sunset Ending? *fingers crossed*

Not much at all i'm guessing. :P:lol:

I am so sad that James will be gone from our screens, but it's so exciting to think that they are going to get their sunset ending. It has to happen now, that can be the only reason Craig returns and JP is leaving. This is the most fantabulous(I don't care if that not even a word. lol!) news ever.

I agree that James is a fantastic actor and he will certainly do well beyond HO. The JP coming out storyline was so awesome that nothing since has been good enough for James to really get his teeth into. Now for sure, he will be going out on a high.

^_^ ^_^
