Monday 1st September SPOILERS.

Frankie knows that they can't keep lying to Newt who is ever more suspicious. Darren and Jack insist that moving to Spain is their only option but Frankie won't go anywhere without Newt. With no other solution, Frankie decides to adopt him and sets the ball rolling. Newt's thrilled with the news but his happiness is over-shadowed by Craig's return. Eager to spend time with his mum, Craig's a little bewildered when he's ushered out of The Dog and told to go and see Steph as they try and stop him uncovering the truth about Jack's death. Meanwhile, Steph arrives at the flat and is stunned to find Jack alive and well and she struggles to comprehend what she's seeing. Under the stress of being found out, Jack suffers an angina attack, but how can they call an ambulance for someone who's already supposed to be dead?

Craig returns to Hollyoaks as John Paul sees his marriage plans spiralling out of control. Kieron excitedly plans the wedding but it's all moving too fast for John Paul as he wonders how to put a stop to it. John Paul eventually snaps, leaving a hurt and angry Kieron asking him why he's left it 'til now to call things off when he's given everything up for him. John Paul's left in a world of his own as he contemplates his future when suddenly Craig appears in front of him. It's slightly awkward between the two of them as they are both unsure of each other, but it's obvious there's still a strong connection between them as the boys catch up. Craig realises John Paul is unhappy and asks if he loves Kieron which John Paul replies he does. John Paul hugs Craig in a loving way only for Kieron to see. An angry Kieron storms out heartbroken but John Paul knows he's still torn between the two men.

Niall struggles to get Steph to acknowledge him as Kieron points out to Steph that sometimes you just have to follow your heart. Lead by Kieron's words Steph goes to see Niall who tells her how they can be happy together with Tom. Steph knows she's making a mistake and is saved by a call from the school as she hurries off to collect Tom. Knowing that Cindy never picked Tom up, Steph leaves a broken Niall. Steph, annoyed at Cindy, demands that whatever she has against her should never be taken out on Tom. But Cindy makes it clear that Steph is dating the murderer of Max. Niall sits alone knowing he's lost Steph again.

Michaela hopes that asking Mike for help with their essay will draw them closer. Her feelings are excited when he answers the door in just a towel and her plan seems to be working. Mike lets Zoe and Michaela down as he gets ready for a meeting with the bank. Michaela waits around and offers to make Mike a cup of tea only to see him cuddle Zoe to her disgust.

WEDnesday 3rd September

Frankie and Steph want to call the ambulance as Jack's condition worsens. Darren knows that Jack needs his spray and races to retrieve it. To everyone's relief, it works and Jack starts to feel better. Frankie wants Jack to go to the hospital but Darren and Jack know they face prison if anyone sees Jack. Steph lashes out at Frankie, having been lied to in the scam and returns home, desperate for someone to talk to. But she can't bring herself to call either of the girls. Desperate and alone, Steph goes to see Niall and kisses him.

John Paul hesitates in chasing after Kieron as Craig wants to see Frankie. Darren tells Craig that Frankie doesn't want to see him panicked by Jack's ordeal. Craig goes to see John Paul and helps him get his head straight about what to do with Kieron. Kieron sits talking with Niall and questions John Paul who excuses his actions and explains he loves Kieron. Kieron wants John Paul to prove his love by marrying him next week but he can't do it. John Paul is asked by a hurt Kieron if it's over but John Paul's silence confirms his worst feelings…

Darren reassures Craig that Frankie will come round. Seeing Newt, Darren suggests the three of them spend the day together. Craig questions Darren about finding Jack dead but Darren uses Newt as an excuse not to talk about the subject. Craig, wanting to see Frankie, is floored by Darren's harsh excuse of Frankie not wanting to see him. Seeing Steph approach, Darren confronts her but angry Steph reveals she is on the edge of exposing Jack's secret. Craig tells Frankie he's leaving but Frankie pleads with him to stay. Newt, worried about Craig's status, is reassured when Frankie puts her arms around both boys.

Michaela waits for Amy but watches Mike working as Zoe returns much to Michaela's disappointment. Amy is a little worried about what people will say when they find out she's pregnant again. Michaela reassures her that she will stand by her.

Thursday 4th September

Kieron's heartbroken after his split from John Paul as John Paul desperately tries to get in touch with him. Myra encourages John Paul to sort things out but decides to take matters into her own hands and goes to see Kieron. She's shocked when he tells her he's meeting her son's foster mum today and has an anxious wait for the outcome of their meeting. After speaking to Mrs Snow, Kieron's excited that he's got the right person but he's left stunned when he sees a photograph of Myra's son… and discovers it's Niall!

Michaela's jealous when Mike tells her he's going for a romantic break away with Zoe and thinks if she tells him she loves him he might take her instead. But she's worried about how he'll react. Following an oblivious Mike's advice, Michaela offers to babysit Max and takes him along to see Mike in Washed Up with a note declaring her feelings for him. But she's thrown when Zoe's there too and quickly hides the note in the pram.

With her plan thwarted, Michaela leaves. Zoe's horrified when she sees the note on the floor and thinks Michaela's in love with her as Mike struggles to contain his laughter. But he's not laughing for long when Zoe tells him he'll have to talk to her. Michaela's high hopes are soon dashed when she realises Mike's come to speak to her on behalf of Zoe. Michaela desperately wants to tell Mike how she feels but she just can't find the right words...

It's quiet in Il Gnosh and Jacqui's bored. Tony realises how hard it is for her after giving up Max and advises her that throwing herself into work might help. He's a little alarmed when she mentions there are a few things she'd like to change in Il Gnosh and has to hold his tongue when she arrives with some new garish tablecloths. Mandy arrives to discuss Carmel's hen night but it's obvious the two girls have very different ideas on what a good night out should be. Tony's impressed that Jacqui managed to keep calm but Jacqui can't stay calm for long - she needs something more to fill her day or someone's going to get it in the neck.

Steph feels guilty after spending the night with Niall. When Cindy and Mandy question her actions she can't explain how she's feeling. Cindy's disgusted that she could sleep with another man so soon after Max and condemns her behaviour but Steph's head's in a whirl as she tries to justify why she did it.

Mandy confronts Niall and tells him to back off but he's angry by her interference and John Paul has to step in when he gets aggressive. Steph's ashamed of what she's done and doesn't need the pressure from Niall when he turns up at the flat and insists they've done nothing wrong. Cindy can't believe his cheek and Steph flees the flat upset and confused and hides herself away from everybody…

Friday 5th September

Armed with the knowledge that Niall is Myra's son, Kieron contemplates what to do next. Unable to get in touch with Myra, he heads back to the flat and confronts Niall. Niall's cheerful manner soon hardens when he realises the game's up. He knows he has to act fast before Kieron ruins everything.

As Kieron tries to understand why Niall didn't tell Myra he was her son, Niall asks Kieron to take his confession and finally admits the truth. Kieron soon starts to feel unwell and realises to his horror that Niall's drugged him, but it's too late. As John Paul prepares to break Kieron's heart, his own heart breaks when he finds Kieron dead.

Craig isn't about to give up on John Paul and persuades him to join him for a drink. The tension between the two boys is palpable as Craig desperately tries to find out where he stands. John Paul plays it cool but he's completely floored when Craig admits he's still in love with him and his world's once again sent into turmoil.

Craig's gutted when John Paul doesn't reciprocate his feelings and later turns up at the McQueens', refusing to leave until he's absolutely certain John Paul doesn't want him. John Paul assures him it's Kieron he wants and pushes him away but the emotion and desire is too strong between them and he finally gives in to his feelings. Craig and John Paul are blissfully happy to be back in each other's arms but John Paul's brought back to reality when he gets a text from Kieron and realises he has to go and see him… unaware of the horror that's about to unfold….

Mercedes and Malachy can't keep their hands off each other and are getting on Kris' nerves. The threesome head off to the Union and Kris makes a point of mentioning Malachy's past girlfriends and enjoys winding them up. Mercedes tries not to look bothered but when Malachy gets a call and disappears she can't help being suspicious. Kris continues to wind Mercedes up when Malachy fails to show but he realises Malachy has hurt her a lot more than she'd care to admit.

Tony's patience is running out when Jacqui almost burns down Il Gnosh - he has to get her out of there. Jacqui's livid when he bans her from the kitchen and John Paul tries to suggest some hobbies to keep her busy but all she wants is a job. Tony tries to think of possible job opportunities for her and suggests she could work in Washed Up if she's fed up waiting on tables. Tony's left in a bit of a pickle when Jacqui misreads his offer and announces he'll have to tell Mike he's got a new boss.
