I'd love to see him come back completely reformed and back to the Fletch we all knew and loved. Was there ever any mention on where he went or what the Ashworth's said about his disappearence?
Slade Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Firstly I think it was a bit rich Justin calling those guys that Ste went to see a football match with thugs as I seem to recall him knocking the stuffing out of Chris one time and he was lucky that Becka talked him out of pressing charges. Absolutely disgusted with the McQueens in particular Mercedes who I’m really starting to dislike at the moment. Dom might not be the brightest spark but I don’t think he deserves the treatment he’s getting (and the way their steeling from right under his nose) as he was the first person to help her after the business came out regarding Tony. And how many people would have actually given her a job? Very few. Also very disappointed with Malachi too as for the most part he seems like a decent guy and I understand him being Mercedes wife that he would support her. However I was expecting him to at least not condone the act but he seemed to be actively participating. The only person I wasn’t disappointed with was Maxine because frankly….she’s Maxine and I expected nothing better from her. I was also really annoyed at the treatment of Loretta. Once again Mercedes shows the level of her hypocrisy and double standards. Dropping her knickers for almost any guy with a pulse she once again had the gall to make out that she was some kind of skank and try to totally humiliate her. To be honest considering her track record it was an absolute miracle she didn’t catch HIV of her husband or an STD a lot sooner from one of her former lovers. I’ve got to say though I was completely surprised and pleased with Tony coming back. I didn’t know. He’ll sort things out and hopefully give Mercedes and Maxine their marching orders. Finally I always find it interesting to see who the next people to sleep with each other are but I’m really not sure about Warren and Sacha. I’m guessing they are almost certainly going to get it on – Let's face it, it’s a soap and we all know how predictable things are but I think what would be more interesting would be Calvin’s reaction.
DinerLandlord Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 Sasha and Warren are cringe-worthy to watch. Louise would be turning in her grave if she saw the way Warren has been behaving. Sadly, I'm finding it harder and harder to watch Hollyoaks these days, the storylines have become so unbelievably dull or stupid, or just don't seem to be going anywhere. Most of the really interesting characters have left over the past two years(Clare, JP, Craig, Melissa, Becca, Kieron, Niall, Jess, Max, OB, Louise, Mandy) and the remaining good ones have been pushed into the background and given nothing to do, or else given potentially great storylines that never get developed properly. Why has Darren never fully opened up about what went on in prison? Why has Zoe been forgotten completely? Why has Russ not done anything about Max? Why has Hannah never had even the slightest relapse with her eating disorder? Why has Fletch had the crappiest exit ever? NO, wait, why did Louise have the crappiest exit ever? Why has Steph gone back to being the Steph of 2006, undoing all the amazing writing of her character in 2007 and 2008? Why are the McQueens constantly robbing as if it is totally acceptable and funny? Why isn't the recession portrayed properly with people losing their jobs and businesses, instead of becoming dishonest thieves??? I think it will get better in a few months, or at least I hope it does. I'm guessing Zoe and Sarah will eventually happen, like McDean did. I also think Warren will be brought down finally, probably by Calvin, and Louise's fate will become clear at last. That's about all I'm interested in for now. Hannah's exit at the end of the year should be good too, she'll more than likely take Justin with her. I really hope we see more and more of Darren. He was off screen for nearly three months while he went to prison, he deserves lots of new storylines.

Warren will come down when Jamie Lomas leaves , I dont know if he is leaving anytime soon though and I think the writers are trying to recreate McDean with Zoe and Sarah and will fail miserably. They are so trying to recreate it because McDean is their most popular storyline ever.

He's one of my favourite characters He used to be one of mine too, but I'll be glad to see the back of him now after the way his character has been destroyed. The affair with Mandy not to mention murdering Louise was bad enough, but this bullsh*t with Sasha is the final nail in the coffin for Warren. I wish Louise has killed him and then herself on their wedding day. As for Sarah getting with Lydia, that will obviously happen, but eventually I think she'll end up with Zoe. Lydia will be the Spike to Sarah and Zoe's McDean.

Channel 4 have confirmed that both Justin and Warren will be leaving in a couple of months. It states 'as an old enemy re-emerges' ... anyone else thinking Clare (Gemma Bissix). There were reports about her returning, but nothing has been confirmed. If it is her it will definately be exciting.
