This tut was requested by Katie :)

were going from charlienocolor.png to missCbuckton.png

1. take whatever image you are using and crop it down to size and place it wherever you want it

2. Duplicate your image and set it to Screen 100%

3. Add a new brightness/contrast layer and use the following settings

Brightness: -10

Contrast: 10

4. New Color Balance Layer with the following Settings.

Shadows: 0 || 0 || 0

Midtones: 0 || -20 || -40

Highlights: 0 || 0 || 0

5. New Selective Color Layer with the following settings.

Reds: -30 || 0 || 100 || 20

Yellows: 0 || 0 || 100 || 0

Blues: 100 || 0 || 0 || 100

Neutrals: 0 || 0 || 0 || 10

6. New Photo Filter Layer with these settings.

Filter: Cooling Filter (80)

Density: 15

Make sure the box is ticked for (Preserve Luminosity)

7. New Fill Layer>Solid Color on Color Burn 100% with this setting #f1f1f1

8. New Channel Mixer Layer with the following settings.

Red: +130 || -70 || 0

Green: 0 || +100 || 0

Blue: -20 || +100 || +100

And thats it.... you can blur your image and then sharpen the eyes and lips like I did, or just do either one, or just leave it as it is :)

I have a question for GIMP - Is there a way to put all 20 av's on a white canvas and seperated at once? (Does that even make sense? :unsure: ) I found a way but you have indivually place them, and that gets really annoying.

I have the same question but for photoshop 7. I have seen people on this forum, who have icons on a white canvas and it looks so good !

Requested :D

From base.jpg to 4-45.jpg

1. Duplicate base and set to screen

2. New layer. Fill with FFFF00 and set to soft light

3. New selective color layer with the following settings :

Reds: -100 / +100 / +100

Yellows: -45 / 0 / -30 / 0

Magenta's: -100 / -100 / -100

Neutrals: +100 / -20 / -90 / +35

4. New selective color layer with the following settings:

Reds: -100 / +100 / +100

Yellows: -100 / -20 / -25 / 0

Greens; 0 / 0 / 0 / 0

Neutrals: +10 / -20 / -21 / +18

Black 0 / 0 / 0 / 0

Your done :D

If it comes out wrong, Its most likely my fault for writing such a crappy tutorial
