Don't do Transition Year! It is a complete waste of time. A whole year wasted.

Amy, don't worry about the JC. I'm in Fifth Year now, and it is completely forgotten about. Just try your best and get the grades you want. I didn't do fantastic but I passed everything. 3b's, 5c's and 2d's.

Those are great results, Cal! Such fuss over though; like its the be all and end all!

You do some work, but nothing that you won't be doing again in Fifth Year. You go on alot of trips. You do alot of courses, ECDL, First Aid etc.

I didn't go on the trips, mainly because most of the people in my year are dickheads, but I did alot of the courses. The courses do come in handy, but you don't need to do TY to do them, you can do them when you leave school.

I remember sixth form being fun for all the wrong reasons.

^ lol I know. I love 6th form, a party every week and all those free lessons where you pop into town or into the local coffee shop. My teacher says to us to go to the library and do coursework and we do the opposite- off we go to the common room.

Howevre after some really good marks in 4 of my courseworks already, I'm starting to knuckle down and do alot of work. I have no social life now at all.

I feel your pain. I just finished January Modular exams, only to find out that I have mocks for all subjects the following week! Great!!!!
