I also studied Japanese for two years, but didn't want to continue and gain a qualification in it.

Watashi wa sushi wa ga su ki de wa arimasen.

Maybe.

I speak English, German, some French, some Spanish, some Maori, and the occasional Russian word. Does Sign Language count? I can have a very simple conversation in that.

Sign language - I know the alphabet and could probably stretch to a very simple conversation. I really should know more as my cousin is deaf and uses BSL....but I don't!

English, some german, some russian (simple words like da, niet, kaka, baburska [not sure if I can spell them though :P]) then since I can norwegian, I understand/speak Dannish and Swedish (can't do the potato thing though :P)

My primary school specialized in taking care of hearing impaired people so I know sign language pretty well. I also had to learn Indonesian for about 6-7 years. I know some Japanese but that's just for fun. I had to learn Chinese because I had a student from China live with me for 2 years. Then I had a Thai student so I learnt 1 word LOL. I hardly remember anything now though, bad memory.
