I quite like it because I can say things and no one else can understand...unless you use an online translator :P I can insult my sister and she's in a state of blissful ignorance!

I speak French alot of the time out of habit. It can be quite irritating to my parents who just about know 'C'est la vie'. :P

^^ LOL! My parents are getting to know 'C'est La Vie' too....we're going to France this summer and I can understand more French than I can speak, so I know that if someone says something to me, it will be very hard to fight the urge to reply in Italian! :P

I've only just realised what that two of my favourite childhood songs translate to (C'est La Vie and Livin' La Vida Loca).

What does 'Livin' La Vida Loca' actually translate to? Was it a Ricky Martin hit...memory's a bit blurry...

Yes, it was and (as my friend who studies Spanish informs me) it means 'Living The Crazy Life', which I recently noticed is a actually said in the song.

She'll make you live the crazy life...

Ahhh....I used to *love* Ricky.....*swoons*

I can actually speak a little bit of Spanish, but only in so much as it's similar to Italian! :P But I had no idea what that meant...:P

I speak some French, though I haven't studied it for about a year, so it's slowly seeping away. And I used to know a fair bit of Spanish, but, as with French, once I stopped studying it it slowly slipped away.

Currently, I'm very interested in learning Swedish.

^^ I'm like that too Foxy, I studied French for seven years, so I was pretty advanced....I haven't studied it for a good 2 years now, I can just about say 'Bonjour, je m'apelle Jess' :P

I love Swedish and Russian, it's so cool and easy to learn.

Russian is very hard to learn for me.

I've studied it for 4 years and I still can't speak it normally.
