Thanks you two, I've just got back from a full day from work their might be a chance of an update tonight but only slightly, I'm also working the long shift tommorow afternoon as well so also it depends tommorow or not if their will be an update and Uni starts back on Monday but I will try my best.

Chapter 24

“It’s going to be ok, just remember to keep as calm as possible for these little two” Lucas says wrapping his arms around my waist as I finish putting my scrubs on,

“I can’t help it” I say choking back my tears,

“no tears we have to stay positive until we know what’s going on ok, you ready to go in there?” he asks me,

“Yeah” I say he takes my hand leading me into the room, where Dylan is waiting ready for the Cat Scan, I hate seeing him like this I feel so vulnerable everything is out of my hands now, we are about to find out whether our son could have brain damage or not.

“Right were ready now if you want to stand back a little” Flynn says

“Sure Flynn erm do we have to go anywhere or are we ok standing here?” Lucas asks,

“You’re fine staying here, with a Cat Scan as everything is built into the machine and the person is going inside of the machine you don’t need to stand behind a screen or anything like with an x-ray we prefer someone being with the patient for support” he says smiling softly at us, I shake slowly as I watch Dylan’s body slowly inch further into the scanner.

“So what’s going on Flynn did the scan show anything he doesn’t have brain damage does he” I say rushing my words out as the worry overcomes me,

“Well I’m happy to say that the scan didn’t show any brain damage and we can now get him off to surgery to fix his broken bones” he tells us as we stand by Dylan’s bed an hour after the scan had been completed,

“Thank you so much Flynn for everything” Lucas says

“don’t worry about it, now lets get this little fellow into surgery to fix the breaks and get him in a cast” he says.

“Oh Lucas” I cry breaking down in tears as Flynn wheels Dylan away for surgery,

“Come on Tilly its going to be ok now it’s all ok he’s just having to have surgery on his legs, now come on sit down we don’t want you getting worked up now do we” he says as he leads me to the chair and sitting me down in it,

“Mummy, daddy” I hear Chloe and Katie say rushing in,

“Mummy why are you crying?” she says trying to climb up on my knee,

“Daddy why is mummy crying?” Katie says to Lucas as he picks her up,

“It’s ok sweetie’s mummy’s just crying happy tears because you’re brother is going to be ok he just needs plaster and he will have to go in a wheel chair for a bit” I say lifting Chloe up onto my knee,

“like I did?” Chloe says looking up at me,

“Yeah like you except he needs to have one on his leg and his arm” I say softly stroking her hair.

I'm glad Dylan's okay! I just love this family. I'm already looking foward to the next series when there will be five children! Please update soon Jackie, its so great.

Thanks you two ill try and update soon but beware with assingments now in hand from Uni and about another six to come before Christmas and four fics on the go it might not be a quick process of updating as it had been.
