Awww, how cute! I'm so pleased that Dylan is going to be okay! And how adorable were the girls? Too cute for words! I agree so much with Kase, this family is so cute, and I cannot wait for when there are five... although I have no idea how Mattie and Luke will handle it! Five is a lot of kids! Can't wait for more Jackie!

Chapter 25

“Mummy” I hear Dylan’s cry I open my eyes slowly from where I lay resting against Lucas as we waited for him to wake up,

“Dylan sweetheart you’re awake does it hurt sweetie” I say rushing to my feet and squeezing his hand softly, “Lucas Lucas wake up he’s awake get a doctor” I say

“It hurts mummy” he cries his lower lip quivering,

“It’s ok sweetheart mummy and daddy are here with you, you’re going to get better ok I promise” I say softly as Lucas runs back in with Nurse Julie,

“He’s in pain, can you give him something please” I say trying not to get worked up but seeing my son crying out as it hurt, was to much to bare,

“shh Matilda don’t cry you need to stay calm, Dylan’s a strong boy he can take it can’t you Dyl” Lucas says as he wraps his arms around me,

“Yeah I’m strong like daddy” he says as his crying subsides, as he looks up at me his blue eyes full of pain and love,

“Right Dylan let the nurse just put this needle in ok, then the pain will stop ok” Lucas says as he takes Dylan’s other hand

“Yeah look Dylan you have a cast just like your sister did but you have one on both your arm and leg” I tell him trying to keep him occupied as Julie slowly places the needle into his arm.

“Do you think we should tell them” I whisper to Lucas as we watch Chloe and Katie play with their barbie dolls that they had brought to the hospital when mum had dropped them off an hour ago while Dylan was sat in his bed, colouring,

“Yeah if you want to” he says smiling at me,

“Well Dylan did keep asking me when he was going to get a brother, so maybe it will cheer him up if we tell them that we are going to have two more babies” I say taking his hand as my own,

“Right you three do you just want to stop what you’re doing a moment me and mummy have something we want to tell you” Lucas says rubbing my back softly, reluctantly they stop what they are doing and Chloe and Katie come and sit by us,

“What do you want to tell us mummy” Chloe says,

“Well you know how your auntie Cassie is pregnant, well I am as well only I am going to have two babies” I say smiling at them.
