Wow what a long time since i updated sorry about that been really busy and only just found some time and inspiration to write. I'm in a Mattie and Lucas fanship at the moment so its all good.

Chapter 28

“You enjoying the summer break then Sweets and taking it easy?” Mum asks

“Yeah mum can you believe that im due in less than four months” I reply smiling as I rub my stomach as I watch Dylan, Katie and Chloe dance around the outskirts of the Christmas tree,

“I know sweetie I’m going to have to more grandbaby’s to smile” she says beaming,

“An I get to have a little brother to play with!” Dylan says smiling,

“Yeah you do baby” I say before kissing his cheek lightly, thinking about my two perfect angels growing inside me a little boy and a little girl one more of both me and Lucas couldn’t be happier.

“Mummy how many days until Santa comes?” Chloe and Katie ask running over to join us,

“Just six more sleeps then you will wake up and he will be here” I answer smiling at the two of them,

“Yay!” All three of them scream starting to jump and dance about as the door opens, and Tony, Jack and Lucas walk in,

“Whats all this racket about?” Jack asks laughing as they enter further into the house,

“There’s only six more sleeps until Santa’s been Uncle Jack” they three of them sing simultaneously as they continue to dance about the house,

“Yeah are you three going to carry on behaving then” Dad asks them as he sits down beside mum,

“Offcourse Granddad” they say calming down slightly

“Now kids why don’t you come and pick out what you want for tea” Lucas asks them walking over from the kitchen where he’d placed the shopping, the kids run in to the kitchen as Lucas kisses my cheek softly before going back to the kitchen to join them.

“Lucas!” I scream waking up sweet and tears running down my face,

“Baby whats up are you ok the babies what’s wrong” Lucas asks waking up instantly clearly panicked about what is wrong,

“Oh god Lucas it was awful we lost the babies I had them early and they didn’t make it Lucas it was awful oh god” I say tears running down my face,

“sh baby it was just a dream its ok everything’s” we got another scan and appointment tomorrow so we can double check ok” he says pulling me closer into his arms and rocking me back and forth gently,

“I don’t want to lose them baby” I cry,

“I know you don’t baby but everything’s going to be ok you’ll see where going to have two more perfect children for our family” he says wiping the tears away from my eyes with his fingers.

“So has everything been going ok then” The doctor asks leading us into the room,

“Yeah although been feeling really tired and achy the heat is really taking its toll on me I think” I say sighing,

“Yeah its really tough being pregnant when the weather is so warm, just take it easy and stay in doors as much as possible so that you can keep cool, now lets get you up on the bed so that we can check that everything is ok” she says as she clears the bed ready for me to sit on so that she could start the ultrasound.

Chapter 29

Lucas P.O.V

“Don’t worry Mattie it will be ok” I said softly stroking Matilda’s hand as she lay on the hospital bed waiting for the scan to began,

“lets take a look at your babies then shall we, now have you decided whether you want to know the sex of your twins?” the attendant asked us as she walked in the room and looked at us,

“Yeah we would like to know” Matilda says softly as she squeezes my hand,

“cold?” I ask her as she flinches as the gel is applied over her large bump,

“yeah as always” Matilda giggled smiling at me before our attention becomes glued to the screen that has been set up in the room.

Matilda’s P.O.V

I glanced at Lucas smiling as the gel was placed on my stomach before my attention became glued to the screen as we waited to find out how our twins were doing and the sex of our babies despite this being my third scan of my second pregnancy the feelings they bring never get old, the feeling of nerves as you wait to see if your babies are ok and the feeling of happiness as you see what is going on inside yourself.

“There you go two healthy babies” the attendant said as the image of our twins was shown on screen,

“Aww look at them Mattie is that?” Lucas asks the attendant as he points towards the screen at one of the baby’s anatomies,

“yeah congratulations your having two bouncing boys” the attendant said smiling as she looked at us,

“oh two more mini Lucas’s I’m so happy” I said beaming as I refused to take my eyes off the screen as I watched them and listened intently to their heart beat,

“I know Dylan’s going to be happy that he gets his wish isn’t he” Lucas says his smile revealing everything that he is feeling at that moment feelings that are shared by myself as we look forward to increasing our family.

“Hey” Dad says as me and Lucas enter mum’s and dad’s house to pick up the kids after the scan,

“Mummy, Daddy” Katie said as she ran over to Lucas and threw herself in her arms, she’d always been daddy’s little girl I thought as I smiled to myself,

“how did the scan go sweets everything ok with our latest grandbabies?” Mum asked as she walked in from the kitchen,

“Yeah it went good” I reply looking at mum beaming the smile that had been there since earlier still not having been removed from my face,

“now where are your brother and sister Katie we have news to share with you all” Lucas says as he looks at his youngest daughter and strokes her hair back,

“Dylan, Chloe come on in mummy and daddy are here” Dad says yelling as he stands up to shout them in.

Lucas P.O.V

“So what’s the news then?” Dad asks as I sat down next to Matilda as we all sat in the living room,

“well we want to know how your three would feel about having two little brothers to play with” I say as I rub my stomach softly,

“oh yay brothers!” Dylan shouts as he jumps up onto the settee and starts bouncing around,

“Dylan don’t jump on your grandparents furniture” Lucas says sternly as he looks at our son as he bounces up and down excitedly,

“oh two little boys I wonder if they will be identical” mum says as she walks over to my glowing wife and hugs her daughter tightly,

“oh two more boys to make surfers I can’t wait son congratulations” Tony said as he got up and patted Lucas on the back.

“Daddy” Dylan said as he stopped jumping up and down and walked over to me and dad,

“Yeah son” I say as I pick him up and ruffle his brown hair,

“when are you, granddad and Uncle Jack going to teach me to surf?” he asks as he looks at me curiously,

“let me think how about Christmas Day if that’s ok with your mummy” I reply smiling at him as I glace at Matilda who smiles at me happily,

“I think that will be perfect maybe Santa will get you your own board Dylan” she says grinning as she winks at me.

Chapter 30

“Happy Anniversary baby” Lucas said as he kissed me softly as I opened my eyes on Christmas Eve morning and our seventh wedding anniversary,

“mmm Happy Anniversary baby” I say snuggling into his chest sleepily “Yeah seven happy years of wedded bliss can you believe it” I say sighing as I looked up at my husband and smiled,

“I always knew we’d last I never even doubted it because what we have is real” Lucas says as he kisses me softly.

“Lucas feel” I say quickly as I grab his hand and put it on my stomach as our sons kick away in my stomach,

“that’s my boys” Lucas says proudly as he rubs my stomach as the babies continue to kick.

“So kids what would you like to get up to today” I say as I slowly make my way downstairs as the smell of Lucas breakfast lingers around the house and I look at my three precious angels sat watching cartoons,

“can we go to the beech mummy?” Chloe asks as she turns to face me,

“Yay I want to build sandcastles” Katie says as she doesn’t take her eyes from the TV,

“Dylan how about you?” I say as I look at my son the spitting image of his dad apart from my hair,

“Yeah sure” Dylan said as he continued to watch the cartoons intently,

“Ok then beech it is” I say smiling at my children as I walk into the kitchen and see my husband cooking away over the stove “smells delicious” I say walking up behind him and wrapping my arms around him,

“Only the best for my babies” Lucas says as he turns to face me and kisses me softly,

“What did I do to deserve you” I say as I looked up at him and smiled,

“I always think the same thing myself babe I’m so lucky to have you as my wife” he says kissing me softly,

“Watch it you two you’ll burn the house down if you carry on” I hear the sound of my brother in law as he comes in through the back door.

“Mum look at our castle see Daddy’s built a huge moat” Katie said as she ran towards me where I sat on my towel, I sat up slowly and pulled myself up to my feet, “come on mummy” Katie said impatiently as she took my hand and led me towards my husband and her brother and sister to show me their creation

“wow look at that it’s amazing” I say as I look at the castle and smile at my three children and husband, “look at this moat that daddy’s done he’s such a genius isn’t he” I said laughing as I rubbed my side,

“You ok babe?” Lucas says concerned as he jumps up,

“Yeah just it’s so hot this heat is getting to me” I say as I fan myself,

“we should get you home come on kids mummy needs to go home now” Lucas says as he takes my hand,

“but daddy” Dylan whines as he looks at us,

“but nothing Dylan now come on we need to get home and get you kids ready for bed so that Santa will come don’t we” Lucas says as he looks at Dylan sternly as I keep hold of his hand tightly,

“yay” the three of them screamed excitedly as they ran off in front of me and Lucas.

Lucas P.O.V

“Goodnight you three sweet dreams” I say as I kiss them each softly on the cheek as they drift off to sleep ready for the day that lay ahead tomorrow, walking out the room I make my way down the hallway where I see my wife sat on the bed on her mobile,

“Oh Ric Congratulations give Cassie my love will you and ill be over to see them as soon as possible” she says smiling snuggling up against me as she feels my presence beside her,

“she had the baby?” I ask curiously as she hangs up,

“Yeah a little girl Lucy, aww Luc I wish I could go and see her” She says happily as she smiles at me,

“I know you do but it’s late and you’re tired” I start to say as she yawns,

“But Luc we got so much to do yet we got to get everything out for the morning” she starts to say as she struggles to keep her eyes open,

“nope you baby are going to sleep and I will sort everything out” I say smiling at her as I stroke her smooth face, pushing her golden brown hair back out of her face as I pull the covers up over her,

“I love you Luc goodnight” she says sighing softly as she snuggles up against the pillow,

“I love you too Mattie goodnight princess sweet dreams” I say smiling to myself as I kiss her softly on the cheek and stroking her hair back softly until she falls asleep before I make my way downstairs to get sorted for tomorrow.
