Drew Posted August 5, 2006 Report Share Posted August 5, 2006 CREDITS PREVIOUSLY ON BAY CRUSH Drew and Lucas’ relationship was now at the edge of exposure… DREW: It’s so hard to resist you babe! [Matilda is listening behind the wall] LUCAS: Likewise I guess. [Drew kisses Lucas] DREW: Well I’ll see you later then. LUCAS: Bye. [Drew leaves, behind the wall Matilda looks terrified] MATILDA: Oh my god! [Whispering to herself] *** MATILDA: Who is she? [Lucas says nothing] It’s ok. I’m over it. I can handle you being with another girl. [Lucas says nothing] So. Who is she? Or rather, who are they? [Matilda smiles, Lucas says nothing] Questions about old flames ran through some minds… TRACEY: [A car comes speeding towards them. It’s Kim and Kit. Kim stops the car right in front of theirs] Oh my god! Eve! [Zoe does nothing but stare at Kim] Eve! Let’s go! ZOE: What!? [Not hearing what Tracey just said. Kim stares back at Zoe] *** KIRSTY: I have no idea… Where’s Kim? BELLE: He said he went to go get some fresh air. *** [Outside the hospital Kim is sitting on a park bench, just staring into the sky] *** [Zoe wipes her tears away and moves over to the wardrobe, she takes out a small box which have photos in there. She finds a photo of her and Kim. She just looks at it and cries] *** ZOE: Seeing Kim. It was like both my past lives have merged with my present life. TRACEY: Oh. But the Kim thing, you would be over that wouldn’t you? ZOE: I don’t know. [Tracey looks shocked and upset] I thought I was. I would of bet my life on it that I was over him… Just seeing him, it hurt. TRACEY:. Are you sure you don’t have feelings for him anymore? [Zoe says nothing] Eve? [Zoe gets up and walks away. Tracey sits there and cries] And a discovery about Robbie, was about to be told… BETH: Oh my god! [Dr. Green walks in] How is he? DR. GREEN: We need to talk. [He closes the door. Beth looks shocked and upset] EPISODE TWELVE: There’s Something About Robbie… THE HOSPITAL-ROBBIE’S ROOM [Dr. Green walks to the other side of the bed, opposite to where Beth and Kit are standing] DR. GREEN: Would you like to take a seat Mrs. Hunter? BETH: No, I would just like to know what is wrong with my child! KIT: Mum, just sit down. Everything will be ok! [Kit looks at Dr. Green] Won’t it? DR. GREEN: I won’t be sure until he wakes up. BETH: Wakes up? [beth looks stunned] Is he in a coma? [Dr. Green just looks at them] THE HUNTER HOUSE- LIVING AREA [Lucas walks in, Matilda is watching T.V] MATILDA: Where have you been? LUCAS: Just out. MATILDA: At one in the morning? LUCAS: So. I’m seventeen, almost eighteen. I don’t need a curfew. What are you doing up this late anyway? MATILDA: I can’t sleep. Mum’s gone to the hospital, something has happened to Robbie. LUCAS: What happened? MATILDA: I don’t know. It sounded serious. THE HOSPITAL-ROBBIE’S ROOM BETH: How serious is his condition? DR. GREEN: He has had a pretty hard hit to the head. Once he wakes up there could be a slight chance of brain damage. Lost of memory. Amnesia… KIT: Amnesia?! DR. GREEN: I wouldn’t know. As I said, we can’t find out until he has woken up. [Dr. Green sits down] But that’s not my main concern at the present. [beth looks surprised at what he just said] BETH: Well what is!? DR. GREEN: Kit. Would you mind, I would like to have a minute with your mother... Alone. KIT: Why can’t I be here? DR. GREEN: Because it’s something you won’t need to hear… Well at this moment anyway. BETH: What’s wrong? [Dr. Green gives Kit a look to obey what he said] KIT: Fine. [Kit begins to walk out] BETH: Kit. What’s happened to your arm? [Kit has a bandage wrapped around her upper arm] KIT: Blood transfusion. BETH: For what? DR. GREEN: Robbie urgently needed blood. Kit happily donated. BETH: Oh. [Kit smiles and walks out] But, he’s ok? Isn’t he? DR. GREEN: We found something. Something that’s not right. [beth looks confused] THE HOSPITAL-WAITING AREA [Kim walks in and hugs Kit] KIT: Hey, where did you get off too? KIM: I just needed some fresh air. Is Robbie ok? KIT: I don’t know. The doctor is talking to mum now. [Kit looks around] Have you seen Kirsty and Belle? KIM: Yeah I saw them as I walked in, they were heading home. They said they’ll be back in the morning. KIT: Oh, that’s not necessary. [Kit hugs Kim and kisses him] KIM: What was that for? KIT: We’re so lucky Kim. I’m glad we’re spending the rest of our life together. [Kim doesn’t know what to say, he doesn’t look too happy] KIM: Yeah… THE REVENGE HOUSE-BEDROOM [Tracey is cleaning up the mess that Zoe did. She notices the ripped photo of her as a small child. She then finds the photo of Kim. Tracey stares at it and rips it up] THE HOSPITAL-ROBBIE’S ROOM [Continued from before] BETH: Well… What did you find? DR. GREEN: When Robbie needed an emergency blood transfusion, Kit told us she’ll donate some blood to help her brother out. We went through the procedures only to find that their bloods don’t match. BETH: What are you talking about? That’s impossible. DR. GREEN: It is possible. Kit and Robbie are not related by blood. BETH: That’s crazy, I gave birth to them. To both of them! [Dr. Green says nothing] DR. GREEN: What about their father. Was he the father of both Kit and Robbie? [beth says nothing] We tracked down your late husband’s medical files and his blood type was not the same as Robbie’s. [beth looks like she’s about to cry] BETH: I can’t believe this. DR. GREEN: You’re in a state of shock. I’m taking it you weren’t aware of this? [beth says nothing] Beth? BETH: I knew. [beth has a tear coming out] I knew all along. And so did Jack. DR. GREEN: Both you and your late husband knew? That Robbie wasn’t Jack’s biological son? BETH: Yes… We both knew. Jack wasn’t impressed as anyone would be… It explains why my husband always favoured the other four kids and not Robbie. Always giving him a hard time on the farm, sending him to boarding school… He couldn’t love him. He couldn’t love something that wasn’t his… [beth doesn’t know what to say] DR. GREEN: So you and your husband decided to keep it a secret for the rest of your lives? BETH: That… That was the plan. THE HUNTER HOUSE-LIVING AREA [Matilda is still watching T.V, Lucas comes in from the kitchen] LUCAS: I’m going to go bed. I’ll see you in the morning. MATILDA: Ok… [Lucas begins to walk off] Lucas… [He turns around] Who were you with this late? LUCAS: Just Drew… Yeah, just Drew. [Lucas smiles] MATILDA: Cool… You guys weren’t doing anything naughty now were you? [Matilda smiles back] LUCAS: Excuse me? MATILDA: Dumping me for a guy… Do you have any idea how much damage that can cause a girl’s self esteem? LUCAS: I’m sorry? MATILDA: You, braking up with me. Too be with Drew. LUCAS; You dumped me! And there is no way I’m with Drew! That’s so farfetched it’s gross! MATILDA: Yeah, that’s what I thought as well. And I kept question myself, why would you be with Drew? Is it because I’m fat? Is it because I have a huge burn on myself? Why Lucas? Why? LUCAS: I can’t listen to this! Do you know how pathetic you sound? [Lucas storms off and slams the door] THE REVENGE HOUSE-BEDROOM [Tracey is in bed, still awake. She gets up and walks into the lounge room, Zoe is sitting on the lounge, just day dreaming] TRACEY: Eve? Eve? [Zoe startles] ZOE: Sorry? Did you say something? TRACEY: When are you coming to bed? ZOE: Um, soon… Later. TRACEY: How much later? It’s two in the morning for crying out loud! ZOE: Go to bed if you want to go to bed! I’m not tired ok! [Tracey just stares at Zoe] TRACEY: Are you still thinking about your mum? [Zoe looks upset, she turns to look at Tracey] ZOE: Actually, I’m thinking about Holly. TRACEY: Holly? I thought you were over her? ZOE: You just can’t get over someone just like that Tracey. Seeing Kim tonight, reminded me of her. TRACEY: You said you wanted to forget about that chapter of your life and move on! ZOE: I know I did... But… I just… I just want her back. TRACEY: You want to go all the way back to the city to get apart of yourself back? Why? ZOE: Because, she’s my baby Tracey. She’s Kim’s baby! She’s our daughter! Giving her up, I realized was the biggest mistake of my life! TRACEY: No, your biggest mistake in your life is you thinking you can get back Holly… Why would you want Holly back? To show Kim and you too can ride off into the sunset? [Zoe says nothing and has a tear in her eye] I can’t believe this! [Tracey storms out of the house] ZOE: Tracey! Tracey! THE ROAD [Kim and Kit are holding hands as they walk, Kim is staring into space] KIT: We should go back to the hospital. Mum would be getting worried. [Kim says nothing] Kim? KIM: Um yeah. Ok then. [Kit has a weird look on her face] KIT: Kim, what did I just say? KIM: Huh? KIT: Were you even listening to me? KIM: Yeah… Let’s go back. [Kit smiles weirdly towards Kim] KIT: Is everything ok? KIM: Yeah. Why wouldn’t it be? [A car behind them speeds up, Kit turns around and notices] KIT: Oh my god Kim! [Kim looks at the driver of the car, It’s Tracey. Kit tackles Kim to the ground. Tracey misses Kim. She keeps driving off] Stupid kids! [Kit struggles to get up, Kim helps her up] KIM: That was no kid… That was Tracey. KIT: Tracey? KIM: The cop that helped Zoe escape. KIT: The one at Martha and Jack’s wedding? KIM: Yeah… Belle was right… Zoe and Tracey aren’t dead. THE HOSPITAL-ROBBIE’S ROOM [it’s now morning. Robbie is still unconscious. Beth and Tony walk in] TONY: Is he going to be alright? [shocked at the sight of Robbie] BETH: We won’t know until he wakes up. TONY: This was all so unexpected. BETH: Yeah… My son is in a coma and his wife has been kidnapped by a bunch of loonies. TONY: Well Jack said he’ll be here first thing in the morning… Should be here soon. [beth just stares at Robbie, while Tony continues to talk] If they knew the Believers were coming they should of called the cops and avoid this whole mess… Beth? [beth begins to cry] Hey it’s alright. He’ll be ok. [Tony hugs her] BETH: I know… I know… Tony, if I told you something that I did in my past, something I’m not proud of… Would you still love me? TONY: Where’s this coming from? [Tony looks confused] BETH: There’s something you don’t know. Something about Robbie. TONY: What do you mean? THE HUNTER HOUSE-LIVING AREA [Lucas is on the phone to Drew] LUCAS: You can’t come now! [PAUSE] Yes, but I don’t know when they’re getting back! Matilda already thinks that something is going on! I can’t risk it anymore. People can find out about us! [PAUSE] Drew, don’t. [PAUSE] Why can’t you just listen to me!? [PAUSE] Fine… I’ll be there. [Lucas hangs up] THE REVENGE HOUSE-KITCHEN [Zoe is making herself a coffee, Tracey comes in] ZOE: Where did you go last night? TRACEY: I just needed some fresh air. [Tracey walks into her bedroom and closes the door] ZOE: Tracey… About last night. I’m sorry. TRACEY: Do you still want him? ZOE: Who? TRACEY: Kim? Do you still want Kim? ZOE: Tracey, I love you! [Tracey walks out] TRACEY: But apart of you still loves Kim? ZOE: Tracey, how can I not help it? We have a child together! TRACEY: A child he doesn’t know about! ZOE: Well maybe I should tell him… TRACEY: Are you crazy? Eve, Kim will dob us in to the police if he lays eyes on you! ZOE: He didn’t last night… TRACEY: That’s because he doesn’t know where we live… Eve, you can’t be serious about this… ZOE: I’m sorry Tracey… [Zoe walks into the bedroom] TRACEY: Where are you going? ZOE: Back to the city. TRACEY: Why? ZOE: To get back my baby. [Tracey looks upset] THE HOSPITAL-ROBBIE’S ROOM [Tony and Beth are sitting down] TONY: I don’t understand… Jack wasn’t Robbie’s biological father, but Jack knew about it? BETH: Yes… TONY: How? I mean… Did you tell Jack about your affair? BETH: I had too. When Jack was in Queensland for a few months, I got pregnant. Even if I didn’t tell him the truth, he would of put it together because of the timing. I was three months pregnant with Robbie when he came back… And was gone for six… I had no choice. TONY: How come… How come you never told me this? BETH: I haven’t told no one… Not you, not Robbie, the kids… The only people that knew were Jack and I. [Kit walks in with Matilda] KIT: Knew what? [beth says nothing] MATILDA: What’s going on? [beth looks at Tony, then looks back at the girls. Robbie moves his head. Tony notices this] TONY: Hey, hey! He’s waking up! [Robbie mumbles, they all crowd around him. Kit runs off to find a doctor] BETH: Robbie!? Can you hear me? It’s mum! [Robbie has his eyes closed] ROBBIE: Mum? BETH: Yes, it’s me sweetie! ROBBIE: Where am I? BETH: You’re at the hospital, there has been an accident. [Robbie opens his eyes] ROBBIE: What accident? [Kit runs in with Dr. Green] DR. GREEN: Robbie, it’s Doctor Green. How are you feeling? ROBBIE: Um, ok. My head hurts. What happened? BETH: You don’t remember? DR. GREEN: Robbie, what was the last thing you remember? ROBBIE: Getting hit on the head. [beth looks relieved] MATILDA: That’s good isn’t it? BETH: Well if he’s remembering what happened last night, then that’s good. Right? DR. GREEN: That’s right… I’ll just get Julie to fix you up Robbie. [Dr. Green walks off] ROBBIE: Where are the boys? TONY: Um, Lucas is at home and Jack’s coming back from the city. [Robbie has a confused look and looks towards Tony] ROBBIE: What? Who are you? [Tony and Beth look surprised] TONY: Rob, it’s me. Tony. [Robbie looks at Beth] ROBBIE: Tony? Tony who? Where are the boys? Where’s Scott and Henry? BETH: Honey… Scott’s overseas and Henry’s at boarding school… You know that. [beth says with a chuckle and hoping that Robbie is joking] ROBBIE: How? Last time I saw Scott was this morning. How can Scott be overseas? TONY: Scott’s been overseas since last year. ROBBIE: I wasn’t talking to you mate! BETH: Robbie. Don’t talk to Tony like that! MATILDA: Robbie. What’s going on? ROBBIE: What do you mean what’s going on? Why don’t you tell me? You guys are the ones that are saying Scott is overseas! [Kit whispers to Beth] KIT: Did you know this was going to happen? BETH: There was a slight chance he said… KIT: Robbie. What was the last thing you remember? ROBBIE: I told you, getting hit over the head by dad! Where is he anyway? [beth’s about to say something] Don’t tell me. He’s at the farm, the farm is more important then me right? MATILDA: He still thinks that dad is alive. [Whispering to Beth] KIT: Robbie. What year is it? ROBBIE: Why? What’s going on? BETH: You were hit over the head with a baseball bat at Irene’s when the Believer’s kidnapped Tasha. Honey don’t you remember? ROBBIE: Whose Irene? Tasha? Whose Tasha?… Mum… What’s going on?
