[Drew rolls over. You can see Drew’s leg from above the quilt moving over to Chris’ leg. Chris jumps]

DREW: Sorry. [Drew and Chris smile at each other]

Tracey’s offer…

TRACEY: I’m a detective with a few ambitions in life, and I want to help you escape.

JESSE: A detective wants to help two criminals escape a jail?

[Pippa walks down the isle. Everyone is smiling etc, as Pippa gets to the end of the isle, her and Ian hold hands. Ian looks at Sally and gives her a dirty look]

SALLY: Stop! [sally gets up, people begin to gasp, Pippa turns around, shocked that Sally stopped the wedding]

PIPPA: Sally?

SALLY: I’m sorry Pippa, but you can’t marry Ian. He’s been lying to you and has been unfaithful to you.

IAN: Sally sit down! [Pippa looks at Ian]

RIC: Pippa, she’s telling the truth [People begin to gasp and whisper. Pippa looks completely shocked]

EPISODE EIGHTEEN: Burned… But Not Forgotten

SUMMER BAY HOUSE-LIVING AREA-PIPPA’S ROOM

[it’s morning. Ric is having breakfast at the table, Alf is on the phone]

ALF: Yeah, thanks for letting us know mate. [sally walks in] Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow at the wedding. Bye.

SALLY: Who was that?

ALF: That was Jack… Tasha’s been found.

RIC: Oh, that’s good.

SALLY: Is she alright?

ALF: Yeah, well that’s what he told me… He also told me what’s going on with Ian. [Ric and Sally both look concerned]

He’s going to be charged with rape, he has a trial in a few days. He said Ian may be locked away for a good twenty years.

RIC: Twenty?

[Pippa is sitting on her bed looking upset, she can hear their conversation from downstairs]

SALLY: No… She’s locked herself in there for days now.

ALF: Give her time love. [Alf and Sally hug]

THE HUNTER HOUSE-LIVING AREA

[beth and Tony are eating breakfast at the table. Robbie walks in]

BETH: How was your first sleep back at home?

ROBBIE: It didn’t feel like home… It’s not like the farm. [Robbie makes himself a drink]

BETH: I- I know… But you would get used to it… When we first moved here you loved it.

ROBBIE: Why did we move here? Too get away from dad? [Tony and Beth look at each other]

BETH: Um no… Actually, we moved here because… It’s a long story Rob, are you sure you want to hear it just yet?

ROBBIE: Well I have to try and get my memory back don’t I?

TONY: He has a point Beth. [The phone rings. Tony answers it]

BETH: What exactly do you want to know?

TONY: You’re kidding! [Robbie and Beth look at Tony]

BETH: What is it?

TONY: That’s great. Thanks for calling Irene! [PAUSE] Yeah, yeah! I’ll tell them. Bye.

BETH: What did Irene want?

TONY: Tasha’s been found.

BETH: You’re kidding!?

ROBBIE: Tash… She’s-

BETH: She’s your wife. [beth says smiling] You two were so in love! You should go see her.

ROBBIE: I don’t even know who she is mum.

BETH: You said you want to try and get your memory back didn’t you?

SUMMER BAY HOUSE- THE BOY’S ROOM-LIVING AREA

[Drew is alone in the room. He’s going through Chris’ things, smiling etc. Chris, about to walk in, notices what he’s doing]

CHRIS: Um, Drew? [Drew quickly pretends he’s doing something else]

DREW: Um, yeah?

CHRIS: What are you doing?

DREW: Um nothing. Nothing! Just, trying to find something. [Drew says smiling]

CHRIS: Well did you find it? [Drew quickly picks something up without looking at it]

DREW: Yes! [Drew says showing Chris. It’s Chris’ undies. Drew looks embarrassed]

CHRIS: You wanted to find my underpants? [Chris says smiling]

DREW: Um… No… Uh…

CHRIS: Drew… Be honest with me… Are you interested in men? [Drew laughs]

[in the living area Sally is on the phone, Cassie and Ric are reading magazines on the lounge]

SALLY: Yeah everything’s alright here thanks Leah. What about you? [PAUSE] Oh, I was wondering where you got too. Will you be back for the wedding tomorrow? [PAUSE] Oh… That’s a shame then.

CASSIE: Did Leah go somewhere? [Talking to Ric]

RIC: I don’t know.

SALLY: You’re kidding? Married? Why? [PAUSE] Wow, that was so unexpected, I didn’t even know they were dating. [PAUSE]

RIC: Whose dating whom?

CASSIE: I wouldn’t know. [Cassie says laughing]

SALLY: I should congratulate them if I see them. [PAUSE] Oh, ok… Thanks Leah… Bye.

CASSIE: What did Leah want?

SALLY: Just to catch up… Her and Dan are staying in the city with Rachel for awhile.

CASSIE: Why?

SALLY: I don’t know. She didn’t say why.

RIC: So who go married? [sally looks at Cassie]

SALLY: Macca did…

RIC: Too who?

SALLY: Amanda. [sally says smiling, Cassie doesn’t look happy]

THE JAIL-JESSE AND KANE’S CELL

[Jesse and Kane are lying on their beds]

KANE: Do you think she’s serious? [Talking about Tracey]

JESSE: Probably… But why would she want to help us escape?

KANE: I’ve been asking myself the same question… A riot… How are we going to start a riot and escape?

JESSE: Well she said she’s going to help us make one…

KANE: This is so weird… Do you think this is the right thing to do?

JESSE: Mate, if there’s a chance of freedom, I’m going to take it!

THE BEACH HOUSE-LIVING AREA

[irene walks down the stairs, Beth and Robbie walk in]

BETH: Hello?

IRENE: Oh hi Beth. [They hug]

BETH: How are you doing since Corey?

IRENE: I’m fine. All this stuff about Tasha has taken him off my mind. [Robbie looks shy] Hey Rob. It’s good to see you again. [irene hugs Robbie]

ROBBIE: Um, yeah. It’s good to see you too.

IRENE: Love, it will all be ok. [Kirsty walks in]

KIRSTY: Hey guys.

BETH: Hey Kirsty! [They hug]

KIRSTY: Robbie! I didn’t know you were coming by!

ROBBIE: Um, well I was- [Robbie smiles and whispers into Beth’s ear] Whose she?

BETH: Your stepsister.

ROBBIE: Your Tony’s daughter? I thought he just had two sons?

BETH: Um no Robbie, she’s Rhys’ daughter.

ROBBIE: Rhys?

KIRSTY: Don’t worry about it Rob. I’ll fill you in about it later. [Tasha walks in]

TASHA: Rob? [Robbie looks at Tasha. He sees a photo of them nearby on their wedding day]

ROBBIE: You must be Tash? [Tasha doesn’t know what to say]

IRENE: Should we give you two some space?

ROBBIE: Um, mum can you stay here please?

BETH: Robbie, it will be ok. [beth, Irene and Kirsty walk outside]

ROBBIE: So… How have you been, since what happened to you?

TASHA: I’m fine now thanks. [Tasha smiles] Do you want to take a seat?

ROBBIE: Yeah. That would be good. [They smile at each other]

DINER-OUTSIDE

[Cassie is sitting on one of the boats just outside the diner. Ric walks up to her]

RIC: Are you ok?

CASSIE: Yeah. Why wouldn’t I be?

RIC: Since you found out about Macca and Amanda you’ve isolated yourself.

CASSIE: Ric I feel fine. [Cassie says smiling] It’s the baby I’m having doubts about.

RIC: The baby?

CASSIE: Yeah… He’s married now, he’s probably forgot that I’m even pregnant.

RIC: That’s crazy.

CASSIE: No… It’s not. [From behind a boat, someone is watching them] He probably doesn’t even want this baby.

RIC: Well even if he doesn’t want it… You still have all of us to help you get through this and help you raise the baby.

CASSIE: No… You see. That’s just it… I don’t want to have this baby. I don’t want to raise this baby.

RIC: Cass-

CASSIE: But I can’t get rid of it. I wont be able to anyway, it’s four months old… I’m almost half way.

RIC: You were thinking about abortion?

CASSIE: No, I can’t kill a human being… I’m thinking about adoption.

SUMMER BAY HOUSE-THE BOY’S ROOM

[Drew and Chris are sitting on the bed]

DREW: … Don’t you dare tell anyone ok.

CHRIS: So, you’re not out?

DREW: No, I’m not even sure of what I am. I like guys… But then I like girls as well…

CHRIS: Oh I see. The torture of being a confused teenager. [Chris says laughing, they just look at each other, Chris pulls in for a kiss but Drew pulls away] Uh, sorry.

DREW: Nah, it’s cool… I’m just trying to get over my previous relationship.

CHRIS: Oh, that’s cool. [Chris gets up to walk away]

DREW: Chris wait… I’m going to go get a key. [Drew and Chris smile, Drew runs out]

THE JAIL-DINING ROOM

[Kane and Jesse are lining up to get their food, they notice Tracey in the background smiling, she nods]

KANE: What are we going to do? [Jesse taps the man in front of him on the back. He turns around, Jesse swings a punch at him. The guy punches back]

KANE: Jesse! Slow down! [People begin to break up the fight, but they get dragged into it. Guards begin to break it up. A prisoner takes a gun out of one of the police officers hands and shoots them. Tracey smiles, looks around and shoots another cop]

KANE: Oh god! [Jesse and Kane run towards Tracey. Prisoners run into the kitchen, getting knives etc. Someone puts towels on the stove which goes up in flames]

JESSE: Oh man! [They get up to Tracey]

TRACEY: Go! Get away from me or it’s too suss! [Kane and Jesse run out of the door. The kitchen goes up in flames]

SUMMER BAY HOUSE-LIVING AREA

[sally is folding clothes, Pippa walks in]

SALLY: Pippa! [Pippa pushes Sally away] Pippa, please!

PIPPA: Sally, I know what Ian did to you must of really hurt you emotionally, but couldn’t you save me from the emotional pain of being embarrassed in front of all my friends and family at the wedding?

SALLY: Pippa, I know what I did was unforgivable, but I’m sorry… I tried to stop the wedding, believe me.

PIPPA: But you couldn’t tell me the real reason to my face? You had to do it in front of a crowd?

SALLY: Pippa, please! [Alf walks in]

ALF: Pippa?

PIPPA: I know how you’re feeling Sally… And I thank you for helping me out… But I just can’t stay.

SALLY: What are you talking about?

PIPPA: I’ve decided that we’re leaving Summer Bay… Chris and I.

SALLY: Pippa…

ALF: Love, are you sure?

PIPPA: It’s for the best… I just need some time away from this place… It’s a small town… People talk.

ALF: Pip, are you sure this is the right decision?

THE BEACH HOUSE-LIVING AREA

[Robbie and Tasha are sitting on the lounge]

TASHA: It was weird… We couldn’t keep our hands off each other when we first met. [Tasha laughs, Robbie smiles] Do you… Do you remember that?

ROBBIE: Nah…

TASHA: Oh, ok then. [Tasha says trying to smile] What about your seventeenth? Do you remember all that crazy drama at your party?

ROBBIE: No… [Robbie says shaking his head] I’m sorry Tash… I know you’re trying to help me remember, but it’s not working.

TASHA: Oh… Ok. [The baby begins to cry] Um, I’m going to go get Rebecca… Do you want to see her? [Robbie just stares into space] Robbie?

ROBBIE: Um… [irene, Beth and Kirsty walk back in]

IRENE: Back guys.

TASHA: Ok.

ROBBIE: Um mum… Can we go now? I feel a little tired.

BETH: Sure… Well I guess we’re going.

IRENE: Thanks for lunch Beth. [irene and Beth kiss on the check]

BETH: Well, I’ll see you guys at the wedding tomorrow.

IRENE: Oh the big day!

BETH: Tash love, you’re still fit to be my bridesmaid?

TASHA: Yeah, sure.

BETH: Great! Come on Rob. [beth walks out. Robbie stares at Tasha]

TASHA: Bye Rob. [Rob just walks away. Tasha looks upset]

IRENE: Hey, what’s wrong?

TASHA: He doesn’t remember… Anything.

IRENE: Love it will be ok.

TASHA: No, no it won’t… He looked at me as if her had no idea who I was… [irene hugs Tasha]

THE JAIL

[Men are screaming etc, fire has spread all around the jail. Jesse and Kane are running through a hallway]

KANE: Do you still think this is a good idea?

JESSE: Mate, we’re so close! [Emergency fire doors begin to block out the doorways] Oh no way! [Jesse runs faster]

Hurry up Kane! Come one!

KANE: Jesse, wait! [Jesse slides under the door just in time… Kane has been blocked off] No! [He starts kicking the door and looks around. The place is full of smoke]

THE CARAVAN PARK-A RANDOM CARAVAN

[Drew and Chris are kissing on the bed]

DREW: Oh this is so good to get over someone. [Chris laughs]

CHRIS: Who was that someone?

DREW: Holden. His dad is marrying Beth tomorrow.

CHRIS: Yeah I think I know him… He has blonde hair right?

DREW: Yeah.

CHRIS: Cute… What happened to him?

DREW: Turned out to be a selfish prick. [Drew kisses Chris] But… None of that matters anymore.

THE ROAD

[Ric and Cassie are walking back home]

RIC: You have to think hard about this Cassie. This is serious.

CASSIE: I know… But I think it’s the right choice… I need to give this baby up… I’m seventeen, I’m barely a child anymore. [someone is watching them from the bushes, they hear a noise] What was that?

RIC: What was what?

CASSIE: I don’t know… Sounded like someone was following us. [Cassie says looking around]

RIC: It’s probably a dog or something. [Ric and Cassie keep walking. The figure keeps watching which happens to be Mamma Rose. She smiles]

SUMMER BAY HOUSE-OUTSIDE

[Outside Pippa and Alf are sitting at the table]

ALF: You should think about this Pip before you make a big move.

PIPPA: I have Alf. I’ve thought long and hard about this… It’s the right decision to make.

ALF: Are you sure? [Pippa smiles] I’m sorry Pippa, I just think you’re making a stupid decision.

PIPPA: Stupid? [Pippa laughs] What’s the real reason Alf?

ALF: Nothing… I just want you to stay.

PIPPA: Alf? [Alf smiles and so does Pippa. He puts his hand on Pippa’s]

THE HUNTER HOUSE-LIVING AREA

[Robbie and Beth walk in, Tony is watching TV]

TONY: How did it all go?

ROBBIE: Ok… I guess…

BETH: How has your day been love? [beth and Tony kiss]

TONY: Running around doing last minute things… Can’t wait for this wedding to be over. [beth laughs and slaps Tony across the chest. Robbie is looking at the photos of him and Tash on the wall, he begins to cry. On the TV, something gets the attention of Tony and Beth, they’re watching the news]

CHRIS BATH: A breaking story just came through. A jail in the northern suburbs has caught alight by a riot-

BETH: Kane… [beth says in a whisper]

TONY: What?

THE BEACH HOUSE-LIVING AREA

[irene is watching the news and is shocked]

CHRIS BATH: Most of the prisoners have escaped into safety. From what has been said, the riot started earlier when a prisoner created a fight for no good reason. [Kirsty walks in, Irene looks at her]

KIRSTY: What’s going on?

IRENE: Um… [Kirsty notices the footage on the TV]

CHRIS BATH: Four prisoners have been counted as missing, or presumed dead. Nathan Gooley. Brian Matthews. Kane Phillips and Michael Bilson.

IRENE: Oh god! [irene looks at Kirsty, Kirsty looks upset] Love…

KIRSTY: Uh… I’m… I’m going to pack-

IRENE: Kirsty-

KIRSTY: Irene…I can’t stay here…

IRENE: Kirsty! Where are you going to go?

KIRSTY: I can’t stay here, not here! Oh god! What if he’s dead Irene? [irene and Kirsty hug, Kirsty is upset]

IRENE: It will be ok love!

KIRSTY: What if it’s not? [Kirsty’s mobile rings]

IRENE: See, it’s probably him now telling you he’s ok. [Kirsty looks at her phone]

KIRSTY: It’s dad… Hello? [PAUSE… Irene continues to watch the news] Yeah, I think I might… Yeah, I’m ok. [PAUSE] Yeah, I will. Thanks a lot dad. [Kirsty hangs up] Irene… I’m going to go to the city… Dad and mum saw what happened on the news…

IRENE: Love, are you sure?

KIRSTY: Yeah. [They hug]

THE BEACH

[it’s now night. A figure is walking along the beach, they’re staring into the ocean. It’s Jesse and he smiles… On top of the beach Kirsty is walking with a few bags and Dean in her hand. She too stares out into the ocean. She begins to cry. A car pulls up behind her but she takes no notice. The driver gets out of the car and tackles Kirsty to the ground. Dean begins to cry]

KIRSTY: Hey! Get off me! [it’s Tracey] You? [Tracey smiles, and shoves her into the backseat along with Dean] Let me go!

TRACEY: No use screaming Kirsty… [Tracey speeds off, Kirsty looks extremely upset]

The TWO-PART-FINALE begins… Bay Crush is coming towards an end…

That is so cool, Poor Rob I wonder if he remebers Tony still and starts thinking he and Beth are married.
