Episode summaries for the first five chapters

EPISODE ONE: There’s Something About Irene’s Mind

With Irene now hearing and seeing things again, Robbie and Tasha become concerned and wonder what to do, what advice to seek and what actions to deliever. Robbie and Tasha arrive home to a very different Irene, the normal Irene. Belle tells them that Irene has been a completely different person ever since she woke up. During dinner, Irene begins to scream and squeal as she hears voices in her head. Robbie and Belle watch in shock as they don’t know what to do. Being freaked out, Belle runs away. After the incident, Robbie and Tasha once again talk about what they’re going to do. Tasha hands the baby over to Robbie but he makes an excuse not to hold her. Relaxing on the beach, after what happened with Irene, Belle is making out with Drew. Belle pulls out a condom which shocks Drew as he doesn’t seem ready. Belle can’t believe the words Drew is saying so she runs off. Throughout the day, Cassie wonders around the house with air filled in her head. Sally begins to think that something is wrong with Cassie, but she tells Sally she feels fine. Ric also thinks that something is going on with Cassie. During dinner, Sally announces to the kids that Leah and Dan are having a baby… They’re adopting. Looking sad, Cassie races up the stairs. In her bedroom, Cassie opens up a draw and takes out a pregnancy test. She looks at it and begins to cry… Cassie’s pregnant.

EPISODE TWO: We’re Coming Home…

During breakfast Robbie and Tasha continue their chat about Irene. Robbie thinks he’s seeing déjà vu because all this stuff with Irene was happening the same time last year. He also thinks that Corey is behind it. Tasha laughs it off as a joke because she thinks something more serious is behind it. Rebecca begins to cry and Tasha asks Robbie to take care of her because she’s in the middle of something. Hesitating to pick her up, Robbie cradles her in his arms. He and Irene begin to talk and Irene tells him that she had weird dreams last night, dreams that she was going crazy. Tasha confronts Irene and tells her that the dream was in fact real. Irene doesn’t believe her and thinks that the others think she’s going crazy. Lashing out, Irene shoves Tasha into the wall and runs off. With drama’s going on between both Drew and Irene, Belle takes a walk along the beach and runs into Amanda and they have yet another fight. Belle walks home as Amanda follows. Another argument erupts between the two and Irene tells Amanda to leave. Amanda asks Irene what she’s doing wrong and Irene gives her the answer “It’s karma Amanda”. Upset and now hitting reality, Amanda comes to terms that what’s happening between her and Belle is karma. Macca tells her it’s all crap and Amanda should just forget about it. They continue their conversation upstairs into bed. At the pad, Martha and Jack’s arguments are still continuing. Jack is still praising God and Martha continues her ways as a model. Jack turns to Father Logan for advice as Martha turns to Phil her photographer. Phil tells Martha she should prepare a romantic evening for Jack tonight. The Pad has now been set up for a romantic night, but no romance is happening as Jack hasn’t returned home. Martha just looks around the room, now upset. In an unknown apartment a woman kisses her partner and announces that they’re moving back to Summer Bay, “Back where we belong” a flirtatious Zoe says to her girlfriend, Tracey.

EPISODE THREE: Is This Revenge?

Arriving home late, Jack notices that he missed out on the romantic night Martha planned. The next morning Jack and Martha have an argument that Jack is visiting the church again when he should be helping Tony with he and Beth’s wedding. Jack tells Martha if she doesn’t like his new life, then they shouldn’t be married. Father Logan tells Jack that they should consider marriage counseling. After receiving the news off Joe that he now wants the baby, Leah has been in a world of her own and all she wants is this baby. Dan tells her that she has to get over it, but she tells him the only way their marriage will be safe, is that if they have a baby. Dan seems offended that Leah doesn’t think their marriage isn’t going to work so he walks off leaving Leah angry. They make up the next day. Dan confronts Rachel and tells her he’s also upset that Joe is taking their baby and that they have to do something about it. Later on throughout the day, Leah gets off the phone from the bank. She tells Dan that if they give Joe a certain amount of money, then he’ll give them permission to have the baby once it’s born. Dan doesn’t like the sound of the idea, buying a child. With Irene now missing, Tasha begins to stress that something may of happened. Sitting underneath a tree at the beach, Irene rocks back and fourth as she continues to hear voices. The next day, Irene hasn’t returned and Belle tells the others that they should get professional help once Irene returns. Robbie tells Belle that this happened to Irene this time last year and that she was poisoned. After a few hours, Robbie and Belle arrive home with Irene, they found her sleeping. Rachel comes by to help them with Irene’s problem. Irene begins to lose it again and behind Rachel appears Ken! Rachel has no other choice but suggests that they take Irene to a mental institution. Two doctors arrive to take Irene away. Irene begs them to let her go but they drag her away screaming. Everyone just looks at each other in silence and tries to take in everything that just happened. Now all alone in a mental institution, Irene buries herself in a corner. A doctor comes to give Irene her medicine, Irene takes the medicine and looks at the doctors face which appears to be Corey! Irene can’t believe what she’s seeing. She begins to scream and beg to the other doctors to let her go.

EPISODE FOUR: Hidden Secrets and Hidden Desires

News spreads around the Bay of Irene’s departure to the mental institution. Leah signs a cheque to give to Joe so that they could have the baby. Joe stupidly accepts Leah’s offer for five grand. But the tables turn when Joe orders he wants another five grand when the baby comes. Still not giving up, Leah agrees to his deal. As Kit and Kim share a walk together on the beach, Rachel watches on, not looking happy. Still not over Kim, Rachel sits alone at the Patterson house with a bottle of Vodka. Dan and Leah arrive, not proud of what Rachel has done, going back to her old ways. Rachel protests that she didn’t touch a drop as she throws the bottle to the floor. As Leah runs off to see VJ, Rachel spills her feelings towards Dan. One thing leads to another and they lean in for a kiss! Matilda continues to think that Lucas is seeing someone else behind her back, and right she is! Lucas and his new partner talk about Lucas’ situation and Lucas plans to break up with Matilda. Lucas’ lover is revealed, and it’s Drew! Sally and Ric continue to think that something is going on with Cassie as she continues to stay quiet around the house. Ric visits Cassie at the room and she tells him everything. The night everyone was found in the bush because of the helicopter crash, Cassie and Macca spent the night together after celebrations. She took a pregnancy test and she’s now pregnant. Ric can’t believe a single word Cassie says and he runs out of the house in frustration. Cassie has lied and cheated on Ric.

EPISODE FIVE: It’s Finally Time…

On the phone to Drew, Lucas plans to break up with Matilda today. Matilda overhears and hears Lucas say “I love you”. Not knowing who it is, Matilda storms out of the room upset. When they have the house to themselves, Matilda confronts Lucas and she demands he tells her everything. Lucas gives her an explanation telling her it’s complicated. Matilda laughs in his face and dumps him. Later on at night, Drew and Lucas meet up at the vans to continue their secret relationship. Cassie organizes with Macca to tell him everything. Sally, once again asks Cassie what’s going on. Cassie opens up and tells Sally she’s pregnant with Macca’s child. Cassie meets up with Macca and she tells him everything. At the Pad, Martha and Jack seem like they’re getting on again with no fighting, but the happiness is ruined when a marriage counselor is sent over by Father Logan. Disgusted in Jack, Martha runs off. Martha drives to Phil’s house where she opens up to him. As Phil wipes away Martha’s tears they stare into each others eyes and kiss. They move towards the bed where they continue to make out. Rachel apologizes to Dan about the kiss the other night. Dan says it’s alright because they were both hurting. Rachel sees Kit on the beach and they have a fight. Rachel carries on how Kit’s so selfish to steal Kim away from her. The verbal fight becomes a physical fight when they begin to slap each other. Rachel storms home and heads straight for the alcohol to numb the pain. Her and Dan talk about what happened with Kit earlier. Rachel tells Dan that she has no other options but to move out of the Bay to stop the pain. As Dan comforts her, they get a visitor, Lisa. She has news about Joe and the baby. Late at night two car pulls up in front of the “Welcome to Summer Bay” sign. It’s Tracey and Zoe. They have a hostage in the boot, which appears to be Dani. Zoe tells her that “She’s doing this for Sarah. And it’s Dani’s fault that got Sarah in this mess. Dani started it in Summer Bay. And it’s going to end here in Summer Bay.” Zoe’s final revenge has started. All she has to do now is track down the other original siege victims to

EPISODE SIX: She's Back. They're Back. They'll Be Back.

After hearing Cassie’s news, Macca seems a little distracted when it comes between his and Amanda’s secretive relationship. Almost being caught out by Ryan, Amanda covers up their relationship by telling her son “Macca is now our gardener”. Now that Cassie has broken the news to Macca, Ric and Cassie’s relationship is in the air. They have an argument about the situation and it ends in tears. Sally gets a visitor at the door, Pippa and Ian. With news that they’re getting married, next week! As Rachel promised herself, she’s packs herself up, and moves out of the Bay. With Lisa’s shocking news, Joe is not the biological father, which means Dan and Leah are getting the baby. Joe doesn’t take the news well so Lisa moves out and into Leah’s. Waking up the next day, Martha realizes that she slept with Phil. As Martha arrives home her and Jack talk. Jack apologizes for suggesting marriage counseling, but now feeling guilty, Martha thinks it’s a good idea. While Jack’s out, Martha is on the phone to Phil about last night. Overhearing, Jack hears that Martha and Phil slept together. Jack and Martha have yet another fight. Jack walks out, leaving Martha wondering if he’ll ever come back to her. Zoe and Tracey move into their new home, “The Revenge House”. Dani has been tied to a chair in an isolated room downstairs known as Zoe’s “Revenge Room”. As Dani begs for her life Tracey ends their conversation by saying “Save it for Judgement Day”. Tracey and Zoe talk about their next step to continue the revenge. Zoe announces that she’s located Kane and Kirsty up in Queensland and she has a plan to expose their where-a-bouts so Kane goes to prison and to make them suffer. Tracey makes the call to the police and Kane has been arrested which has been witnessed on the news. Zoe talks to Tracey about her mother, and how she’ll be proud of what Zoe’s doing to her victims. In the middle of a bush, a woman is chanting which is Mamma Rose. Charity questions her for when they’re going back to Summer Bay. Mamma Rose smiles and answers “Sooner then you may think…”

EPISODE SEVEN: Touched By A Violent Man

With a surprising return of Pippa and Ian, they begin to talk about their wedding, which happens next week in Summer Bay. Pippa and Sally fill each other in with what’s been happening in their lives since Flynn’s passing. By purpose, Ian spills the milk and lets Sally clean it up by her wishes. From behind as he watches her, he smiles freakily. Finding it hard to keep their secrets, Martha and Cassie open up about Cassie’s pregnancy and Martha’s night with Phil, each shocked with what they’ve done. Martha can’t believe that Cassie cheated on her cousin with her brother and can’t understand why Cassie would do that. Amanda and Macca’s relationship still continues behind everybody’s back. Still shocked by the news, Macca can’t get his head around Cassie’s pregnancy. Ryan bursts into Amanda’s bedroom and catches Amanda and Macca together. Amanda and Macca begin to fight, one thing leads onto another and Macca ends up hitting Amanda. Leah learns that Lisa lied to Joe so Leah could have the baby as Joe was never going to sign the papers and continue to steal Dan and Leah’s money. Joe arrives at the Patterson house to apologize to Lisa but they begin to have an argument, which leads to Lisa going into labor. At the hospital, Lisa gives birth to a baby girl. Drew and Lucas’ secretive relationship continues in the vans, but Lucas seems uncomfortable and leaves. Drew continues to show how much he’s interested in Lucas, but Lucas doesn’t seem interested which makes Drew feel weird. Jack and Tony head off to Noah’s to have a D&M about Jack’s problems with Martha. Tony tells Jack he believes the reasons for their marriage breakdown is because of Jack joining the church. Jack seems pissed off and walks out. At the Pad, Martha and Jack begin to talk, about where their marriage is heading, if they should divorce or stayed married…

EPISODE EIGHT: Crazy People, Plus Ian?

Joe hangs around the hospital after Lisa has given birth. He has another fight with Lisa, though Dan comes in and stops it. Lisa tells Dan and Leah to take the baby away as she doesn’t want the baby in any danger because of Joe. Dan begins to think that they should tell Joe the truth that the baby is his, Leah tells Dan they shouldn’t as they’ve come to far to lose everything now, she rather dies then give this baby up. Matilda and Lucas continue to fight at home. As Matilda walks away, Drew comes by for a visit. Overhearing In the hallway, Matilda hears Drew and Lucas kissing! Pretending as if nothing happened, Matilda apologizes to Lucas for the way she’s been acting. She then asks him whose the new girl Lucas has been seeing. Lucas says nothing as he doesn’t want everyone to know his secret. Matilda then repeats the question but changes the words, asking Lucas exactly, who is the person he’s been seeing. She says it with a cheeky smile. Lucas seems terrified. Does Matilda know his secret? While Ian is alone downstairs, Ric watches him as Ian smells Sally’s jacket. Confused and in shock, Ric wonders to himself what the hell is going on. Sally, Pippa, Ian and Ric prepare to do some last minute shopping for the wedding. Ian says that he has to go upstairs because he left his wallet there. As he goes upstairs he lets himself into Sally’s room and steals some of her lingerie and a photo of her. Downstairs, Ric notices that Ian left his wallet on the table. He begins to think that something is going on. Tasha begins to feel guilty for sending Irene away to a mental institution. At the mental institution, Corey walks into Irene’s room giving her a drink. Irene knows that it’s poison and wont touch a drop. Corey takes out a gun and pins it to her chest, forcing her to drink it. Giving in, Irene drinks the poison. Belle, Tasha and Robbie visit Irene. Irene begs Tasha to let her go because Corey’s back and he’s poisoning her again. Tasha comforts Irene by telling her Corey is still in jail. Irene then tells the others that he’s been forcing her to drink poison at gun point. Beginning to go mental again, a doctor pierces a needle in Irene to calm her down, Tasha and Belle begin to cry, as they can’t stand the site to see Irene in pain. As they arrive home, Belle tells Tasha to have a rest and she’ll go over to the Pad to pick up the baby, Rebecca. As Belle walks along the beach she sees a group of weird looking people, the Believers. Mamma Rose smiles at her and Belle gives her a snobby look back. Charity asks Mamma Rose if she knew Belle, Mamma Rose says no, but if they talk to Belle, then she could help the Believers steal the chosen one’s baby… Tasha’s baby.

EPISODE NINE: The Threats

At the mental institution, Corey’s mind games are beginning to have a massive effect on Irene. So massive that Irene begins to see the ghost of Chloe! Chloe tells Irene that she’s not dead and she’s going to help Irene escape. Still bruised from Macca’s attack, Ryan asks Amanda why Macca hit her. Amanda tries to cover it up by saying she fell down the stairs but Ryan knows it’s not true. Because Macca told Ryan, if he told anyone he hit Amanda, Macca will hit Ryan next. Amanda seems shocked and doesn’t know what to do or say. Amanda pays Macca a visit and threatens him with a gun, telling him not to hit Ryan the way he hit her. Macca laughs in her face and tells her that no one would accept Amanda in Summer Bay if she murdered someone (Macca) Dan wouldn’t want his son living with a murderer. He then brings up the subject that it shouldn’t matter what Dan thinks because Ryan isn’t even his son. Macca now pulls out a gun and threatens Amanda that he’ll tell Dan if Amanda doesn’t continue their relationship. Looking powerless, Amanda accepts Macca back into her life. Macca then drops another two bombshells by saying he’s now moving into Amanda’s house, and they’re going to get married! Amanda can’t do anything to get out of it. Macca knows her secrets and he threatens her with a gun. Martha and Jack sort out their problems. Jack promises to limit his days at the church and return to the police force, while Martha promises to stop her modeling career. As Belle arrives at the Pad, Kit tells her that she’ll drop her off back at Irene’s because of the weirdo’s Belle saw on the beach, which were in fact the Believers. The next morning, Belle talks to Tasha about these weirdo’s and mentions that they were talking about “A chosen one”. Tasha seems shocked, as she puts Belle’s pieces together, she now thinks the Believers are back. During the middle of their conversation, Kirsty returns back to Summer Bay. Robbie and Tasha fill in with what’s happened with Irene. As Belle walks along the side of the road, she’s kidnapped by a fellow cult member, Mitch. As they arrive at the farm, Mamma Rose orders Belle to steal the chosen one’s baby, Tasha’s baby. Belle angrily declines their offer so Mamma Rose locks her up in the nearby shed. All alone in the shed, Belle finds a way out and races home. As she arrives home and in panic, Belle explains that those weirdo’s want Tasha’s baby. Tasha can’t believe that Mamma Rose Is back. And back for her baby! In a jail cell Kane has been shown his new cell for where he’ll be staying, though Kane gets a surprise when he notices his cellmate, is Jesse!

EPISODE TEN: Taking Back What's Mine

At the Pad, Kim prepares to propose to Kit. Throughout the evening they have a romantic night. Still in Irene’s sight, Chloe promises her that she’ll help Irene escape. As Corey enters with Irene’s medicine, Chloe screams at Irene telling her that this is her chance to escape. Irene races through the door and locks Corey in the room. As Irene makes a run for it, she’s been caught by other doctors, forcing her back into her room. Back in Irene’s room, Irene learns that Corey is a doctor. Chloe begins to scream at Irene for stuffing up her chance for freedom. Irene begins to lose it again. To calm her down, Corey pierces a needle through her. Tracey informs Zoe that Kane has been transferred to the same jail as Jesse. Both become excited as the revenge is taking off. They plan to go over to Irene’s to spy on Kirsty, wait for her to show up there so they could kidnap her next. Tasha, Robbie and Belle begin to panic that Mamma Rose is back. In the background Kirsty stands confused not knowing what's going on. Belle suggests that they call the police but Robbie thinks it’s not a good idea, if Mamma Rose is locked up inside she still has people working for her on the outside so calling the police wont do anything. Mamma Rose gets the news that Mitch let Belle escaped. Now furious, Mamma Rose doesn’t think they’ll get the baby. Back at the Beach house the others begin to lock the doors and barricade the entrances with furniture. Mamma Rose now plans to head to the Beach House with Charity and Mitch with guns, incase the police are around during the kidnapping. As the others go upstairs and wait for something to happen, outside, Mamma Rose pulls up with Mitch and Charity. The two young Believers get out and enter the house by force. As Mamma Rose waits in the car, another car pulls up, Zoe and Tracey, ready to spy on Kirsty. Going downstairs to see what the commotion was, Robbie is hit over the head by a baseball bat by Charity. As Mitch takes care of Belle and Robbie downstairs, Charity forces herself in Belle’s room and forces Tasha to give her the baby by gunpoint. Mitch kidnaps Tasha along with the baby. As they leave, Robbie has been left unconscious. Zoe and Tracey notice the events that are going on with all the fighting and yelling and wonder what’s going on. Zoe stares at Mamma Rose and doesn’t believe what she’s seeing. Zoe gets out of the car and walks up to Mamma Rose. From the second story, Kirsty and Belle notice that the Summer Bay stalker is alive. Mamma Rose and Zoe stare at each other, not knowing what to say. Zoe breaks the ice by saying “Hello mother” as they smile at each other. During their romantic evening, Kim proposes to Kit, but before Kit can answer they receive a call from Belle. “The Believers are back and they’ve stolen Tasha and the baby. Robbie is unconscious and bleeding from his head. Also, Zoe is standing on their front lawn…” Whatever is going to happen… It must be huge.
