eye_catching_gangsta Posted July 9, 2006 Report Posted July 9, 2006 Episode two: Day of reckoning (Part two out of two): It was horror at the start, now it has just turned into devastation. The haunted house has collapsed along with the big wheel leaving certain favourites trapped and residents with horrific injuries. Is there going to be anymore tragedy? Inside the haunted house. Rachel and Tasha are ok but are very shocked to see Robbie, Kim, Kit and a couple of other Summer Bay residents buried alive. Tasha screams in pain as she begins to feel the baby coming and Rachel has to deliver now. Rachel: Tasha, after three you need to push really hard to get the baby through ok. Tasha: Yeah just make this pain stop. Rachel: Ok I will count you in. One, two, three, push. Tasha pushes extremely hard and manages to get the baby out. Rachel quickly examines the baby and it is ok. She leaves Tasha to hold the baby while she tries to unbury Kim, Kit, Robbie and the others. On the other side of the haunted house. Amanda is very badly injured. Beth is just got a cut down the side of her face. Tony is on the floor with a beam on top of him and Dan has got a really bad cut arm. Beth and Dan look in horror fearing that they might not survive and try to do all they can to help. Beth: Dan, help. Dan: First of all we need to move Amanda to a save place then we will help Tony. Beth: Ok. Beth and Dan slowly move Amanda out of the way. She is still breathing but only just. They then try to take the beam off Tony. Dan begins to lift the beam while Beth tries to free Tony. As Dan is lifting the beam he trips on a rock and makes the beam fall on Tony’s head. Beth screams in horror as his head is hanging off his leg. He is dead now and Dan looks in horror as he thinks he has killed a person but was Tony actually dead before Dan slipped and dropped the beam on his head? In the big wheel cart, horror begins to unfold as Matilda begins to stop breathing and it is up to Drew and Cassie to get her back alive. Drew: S***. She has stop breathing. Cassie: How are we going to get her back alive. Drew: Do CPR. Cassie: Ok. Cassie and Drew attempt to do CPR. Belle and Ric begin to wake up while Lucas remains unconscious. They watch in horror as Drew and Cassie are trying to resuscitate Matilda. Belle then realises that she needs to get out and she attempts to do so not knowing that it is unstable. They manage to get Matilda alive again and Belle kicks the door open and walks across the haunted house to safety. Emergency services gather round Belle and realise that people are trapped but they can not go across the haunted house encase everything collapses. How are they going to be rescued? At the surf club, Belle is dragged to safety. Everyone gathers around her for answers and immediately she feels uncomfortable. Jack: What has happened? Sally: Yeah is everyone all right. Leah: Please just tell us. Irene: Give the girl a chance to speak. Belle: When I woke up we saw Matilda getting revived by Cassie and Drew. We saw Lucas with his arm trapped and we saw a massive hole that had people trapped inside it. Sally: Who is we? Belle: Me and Ric. Sally: Oh thank god. Belle: Listen. I manage to escape but the emergency services say it is too unstable and if any more people walk across it there is a chance that they could really badly hurt themselves or worse, die. Jack: So your saying it is so unstable that soon they could die. Belle: Yeah. Sally: We have got to help them. Belle: But the emergency services. Sally: Look I do not care what the flipping emergency services say I just want to get Ric and Cassie out of this mess, alive. Jack: Same here, I am not letting my brother or anyone else go. Now who is with us. Everyone is with him and Sally and immediately go to the wreckage of the big wheel and the haunted house too help their loved ones in need. Meanwhile Tasha and her new baby girl are in pain. They have had no food and they are in hot conditions. Rachel is trying to unbury Kim, Kit and Robbie when she hears emergency services trying to talk. Bob: Anyone down there. Rachel: Yes we. Bob: Who is we? Rachel: Rachel Armstrong and Tasha Andrews. Bob: Is there anyone else trapped down there. Rachel: Yes, there is a load of people buried alive under rubble. You need to help us now. There is a new born baby down here and she may not survive. Bob: Just hold on. Rachel: Ok. Back at the top of the rubble, everyone was gathering around to see if there was any hope for there loved ones. Jack: So what are the chances everyone surviving. Bob: Honestly, very slim. Jack: So how are we going to get them out? Bob: If one of us abseiled down in the two holes and got the people without touching any rubble, we should be fine. Jack: I will go. Leah: Are you sure? Sally: I mean it is unsafe. Jack: Maybe but if I do go down there and try at least I know I done my bit. Bob: Are you definitely sure? Jack: Yes. Sally: What about the people who are trapped on the big wheel? Bob: We will get a crane to lift the big wheel after we have freed people who are trapped under the haunted house. Jack prepares to go down the holes while everyone is waiting anxiously for news on there loved ones. Meanwhile back at the surf club. Martha is lying on the table clutching her stomach. She then begins to cry. She holds out a pregnancy test in front of her and it is revealed as positive. Then as she tries to get up she overhears two police officers talking about the incident. Policeman 1: Why did they strike here? Policeman 2: It was so horrible, I mean why would a group of thugs want to plant bombs at the town carnival. Policeman 1: First thing in the morning I am going to do a search on the thugs because this is so out of order. As Martha then goes out she clutches her stomach and falls straight to the floor in pain. The policeman then gather around her. What is wrong? It is about half hour later. Outside on the fairground area. Jack brings Rachel, Tasha, her new born baby girl and Robbie who was unburied by Jack. Just as Jack is about to go down for Kit and Kim the whole place caves in leaving Kit and Kim trapped inside. Rachel screams and the people watch in the big wheel as everything apart from the big wheel caves in. The other part of the haunted house with Dan, Amanda, Beth and a dead Tony has not caved in yet. Bob has just got Dan, Amanda and Beth. Leah: Your ok. Dan: Yeah fine. Leah: What about Amanda? Dan: She will be fine. Then Beth goes up to Dan and gobs off about him killing Tony. Beth: You killed him. Dan: Excuse me. Beth: I saw you with my own two eyes. Dan: I do not know what you are talking about? Beth: You dropped the beam on his head. Jack: You did what? Beth: He killed you father Jack. Jack: Do you know what the day is today? It has been 3 years since my mum died now on this very same day it has happened to the other parent. Jack and Beth are left in anger as they find Tony’s body. Rachel then tells Beth even more bad news. That her and Kim are gone. They all cry together. The people in the big wheel share a tear together. Who will help Summer Bay now in there time of need? Next Time: Martha finds out some heartbreaking news. Who is arrested for a murder they did not commit? Colleen returns from holiday, who will tell her the bad news? Summer Bay learns the truth about the disaster. Is Matilda going mad?

At hospital, Martha was transported after receiving some chest pains. Jack came to the hospital to find out what was going on. He was still very sad about his fathers death. He could not come across with his loss and he might loos two more important things. His lover and his brother. Lucas has a broken and twisted arm and may loss it while the doctor still needs to tell Jack what exactly is wrong with Martha. The doctor then comes up to him to tell him the news. Jack: Is she ok. Doctor: Please sit Mr. Holden. Jack: So now can you please just tell me what is wrong with her? Doctor: Well at the fairground yesterday. The force of the explosion caused Martha’s heart to stretch. When the heart stretch the heart itself formed a lump. Jack: What sort of lump? Doctor: Jack, what I am trying to say is Martha has got cancer. Jack: No. Doctor: I am so sorry. Jack: It can be cured, right. Doctor: We do not know anymore at this stage. Jack: Can I go and see her? Doctor: Of course. Jack goes to see Martha. He sees her sleeping. He then sees her weeding ring and begins to cry. Is this the end of Martha? Meanwhile in the other part of the hospital, Beth is by Matilda’s bedside. Matilda has to have bandages around her face because she has intense burns to the face. Robbie, Tasha and there baby come in. Robbie: Mum. Beth: Hey. Tasha: I am so sorry. Beth: Don’t be it should be Dan Baker who is sorry for killing Tony and kit and Kim. At least I have still got you. Tasha: We came here to show someone very special to you. Beth: Oh my god, she is so beautiful. Have you named her yet. Tasha: Yes. We have named it Holly. Beth: That’s a nice name. Robbie: How is Matilda? Beth: Not good. She is awake but we are waiting for a plastic surgeon to come down and look at her face. Tasha: And what about Lucas. Beth: Not so good, they might have to amputate him arm. Robbie: Well we are going to see other people. Tasha: We will come back soon. Beth: Ok, bye. Robbie: Mum, be strong. As Robbie, Tasha and Holly walk out the room Beth cries really badly. How is she going to cope with this unthinkable tragedy? At the airport, Colleen returns from a glorious holiday in Japan. She then spots Dan and Leah (who are coming to pick her up). Dan and Leah do not look to happy. Colleen then starts to chat away to them. Colleen: What’s wrong? Dan: Listen Colleen there is something that we need to tell you. Colleen: What? Leah: it all happened yesterday. Colleen: Don’t tell me another tragedy. Dan: Yeah. Colleen: Please do not tell me that flaming evil Zoë and Tracey have arise from the dead, again. Leah: No, there was two explosions at the town carnival fairground. Colleen: Was anyone hurt. Dan: Loads of people. Colleen: Well at least nobody died. Leah: Three people died Colleen. Dan: People could still die other these couple of weeks. Colleen: Who died? Leah: Tony, Kit and Kim. Colleen begins to cry. As she does, police officers come into the airport and attempt to arrest Dan Baker. Policeman 1: Dan Baker, I am arresting you on the murder of Tony Holden and fleeing the country. Dan: your making a big mistake. Policeman 2: Just make your way to the car. Dan takes the walk of shame while Colleen and Leah follow behind. Did Dan actually murder Tony? At the hospital, Matilda is being seen by the plastic surgeon. The plastic surgeon then asks Beth to come back into the room to await the verdict on Matilda’s face. Surgeon: Miss. Hunter. Beth: Please what is wrong with my daughter. Surgeon: Matilda sustained intense burns to the face. Both mentally and physically. Beth: What do you mean? Surgeon: What I am trying to say, there is no way I can repair Matilda’s face. She is scared for life. Beth cries in anger as enough tragedy has happened to her already. Is there anymore tragedy to come for the single mother? In the waiting room in the hospital various Summer bay residents (Belle, Amanda, Alf, Sally and Rachel) are sitting. Sally is hugging Rachel about last nights events. Belle and Amanda are talking while Alf is sleeping. The television is on and Amanda decides to turn the news on. It is about the Summer Bay fairground disaster. Amanda turns it up. Reporter: More tragedy in the sea side town as the town carnival’s fair exploded claming three lives and leaving many in hospital with horrific injuries. The police say the cause of this accident were terrorist/thug bombers. Everyone is shocked to hear about the bombers. Is a person or a group out to get Summer Bay and if so why? Next Time: Matilda and Lucas are horrified with there deadly injuries. Martha discovers that she has cancer and a baby- how will she cope? Dan is tangled in a web of lies. Belle makes a shocking discovery about her family. Josie makes an explosive return to the Bay.
