Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted January 29, 2010 Report Posted January 29, 2010 Day 4 was the best of the even numbered days, but I think it had a case of ADD - they didn't stick with one threat for more than a few hours. I think the longest was the meltdown threat for maybe seven. Admittedly, that was a problem in Days 5 and 7 as well, not to mention the shift from Salazar to Amador to Saunders in Day 3. Compare these to Day 1: 13 hours on Gaines' group, 11 on the Drazens, and it worked. My problem with even-numbered days is that they're all the same: Muslim terrorists, nuclear weapons, and a Vice-President who ends up invoking the 25th amendment. They all have their moments, but they're a lot more formulaic than even-numbered ones.
devon Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 Good to see Renee back! This day is just as fast-paced as the last few! That means the last 8 or so episodes will probably tail off - again.
Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted February 2, 2010 Report Posted February 2, 2010 That scene between Kim and Jack at CTU was brilliant, totally not where I'd expected it to go. The episodes were promising, although I saw at least two (contradictory!) plot twists coming. Early days hours yet, though.
devon Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 LOL! There was a guy in tonight's episodes who used to be in The Bill !!! The first ep was pretty boring. This whole Dana subplot - with her Redneck-crim-ex - is plain tedious. 2nd episode was OK - Jack looked funny playing a German!
Sabrina Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 I've never watched 24 before this season and I only started watching because I heard Freddie Prinze Jr was going to be in it I have to say I'm really enjoying it - it's absolutely brilliant and very addictive
devon Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Yeah, FP Jr is quite good on this. It's a shame that 24 has been cancelled, though it clearly peaked 5-6 years ago, it was still something to watch.
