Using Photoshop, I have developed a strange line around my canvas, with a box in the corner with a number in it. It looks like this:

screenshot.jpg

Because of this, I cannot place brushes towards the edge of my graphics and I cannot see my icon properly.

Does anybody know what it is, what caused it and how to stop it?

This tool makes it come up: linthin.jpg

I don't know what it does, but that line thing always comes up when I accidentally press that button.

Thankyou! :)

I've pressed that button again, but it hasn't removed it.

I exit Photoshop to remove it.

Whenever I open an image up, this little border thing always appears...and it's quite annoying.

I know that there's a tool in PS that when you click it, that border thing appears but I never click it, yet it always appears everytime I open a new image. To get rid of it (off the image), I press Ctrl + H, and that works but it doesn't get rid of it permantly, i.e. it still appears when I open a new image.

Please help.

We have the same problem. To get rid of it it, Press Ctrl + H, but that doesn't get rid of it permantly, i.e. it still appears when you open a new image.

If I have a brush , how do I make it go a different way to what it was? Like, if it was just straight, how do I put it diagonal? Like rotate, I guess.

Rotate the image icon1.gif
