Anyone know how to lock frames in ImageReady so that I can add text/brush and add effect to it, and have it fade from frame to frame?

Well if you want to add effects, I normally do that all in Photoshop, and then jump to Imageready. To fade them, you need to 'tween' them. Hope this disgram helps you.

Ummm.... Do I add the effect in PS? Because... when I go to IR and copy the frame to add the effect, the effect goes to the first fra as well...

Well this is how I animate. I make all the pics I want in my animation in PS. Then I open image ready and open all the pics. I choose my starting pic. I click new layer. I copy the next pic I want in my animation, and paste it onto the original in my animation. Hope that makes sense...? Then I keep going till I've finushed.

I'm so stupid - I'm unable to copy the new pic once I've opened it in IR. It copied the location it has on my computer and paste it on top of the other image.

This is probably going to sound like a stupid question but ah well. If your playing with curves on an av/icon is it better to go image>>adjustments then curves or layer>>new adjustment layer then curves?

I don't reall think there's any differences other that the first is a layer, the last one isnt
