Help on Image Editing Software

Something's wrong with my text tool the little blinker thing is tiny and then when I write someting even in size 72 it comes out smaller than this text. How do I fix this?

I'd try to restart the software.

it could be that the image your opening or if your making a new image is on a low resolution like 10 or 8 or something because when you go in 75 would be smaller than this. So if you try changing the resolution number when you open it to something like 120 or 72 or so then that might work.

^^ I think it might be that 'cause I tried it on another image and it worked fine. So how do I change the resolution number?

if its a new image ...When you go to new and the dialog comes up you'll see height, width and then resolution so you change the number there.

If you want to change an images resolution you go to image -> imagesize then theres a resolution thing there too under document size.

^^ All that does is zoom in on the image.

oh i forgot to say when you change the resolution it changes the size figures. so what you do is change the resolution number then reput the orginal size numbers in the image size thing too that way it wont zoom. i hope that makes sense.

Hey guys how do i make it look like i've blended image successfully? I've looked at blending tutorials but they haven't helped. I'd like to blend four pictures, two have a blueish background, ones sort of white, one is brownish. If anyone can help that would be great! xxx
