Hey! :D

I was wondering if you guys could help me with a problem I have with VLC....

It won't play my DVD's when I put them into my computer. I go to File>Open File>Browse>HARD_CANDY>Ok..... the player just starts to go all wierd and this is the image I get when something begins to play....

I can play DVDs with my VLC, so maybe try reinstalling it? Or try a different version of the player?

Also, if you want to use it to make caps of the DVD there are other softwares you can use.

WinDVD is a good capping program, but judging from the name it's a Windows player and it might not be available for Mac... Also, as far as I know it only caps .bmp files, but there's no problem converting that to .jpg or .png or .whateveryouwant afterwards using photoshop or something :)

Thanks, Eli.

Amy, I had to drag the DVD into the Hard Disk and open it from there. A crap and confusing way to opening the damn things, but atleast it worked! :P

Its annoying, I can't get VLC to work on the laptop. :P I get the sound and everything but no picture unless I press O (my cap button) so I have to O, O, O! all the time & I don't want that many caps! :P
