Help on Image Editing Software

Can anyone tell me why sometimes my layers and everything to do with layers is locked? I use Photoshop and sometimes when i am doing something and then go to click a new layer,All layer options are greyed and unclickable.

The only way i can get them back,Is to copy it and paste it in another window.

Im just wondering what is making the layers grey out and how i can get them back.

Clicking that doesnt seen to do anything for me,When the layers are useable and not useable,It doesnt seem to do anything when i click on it.

This is probably diferent but I'd been on PS for like hours the other day, I forgot it was open. Anyway when I went to crop I couldn't click the toolbar nor the layers...Photoshops weird.

Base/background layers are always locked, so if that's your problem, double click on the layer, and click ok when the pop up comes up. This unlocks the layer.

This isn't really image editing but I am using Badongo to upload some caps and I was wondering how do i get a link for the folder all my files are in so they can be downloaded at once?

You mean Upload a whole Folder? Go to your My Pictures, Zip the Folder you want to Upload and then select the Zipped File on Badongo

I guess this isnt really a Image Softwear question but I didnt want to get in trouble for starting a new topic when it eaisey could of gone in here.

I make alot of Screencaps with VLC player and I was wondering if anyone knew how to put them in a zip file, uplaod them to some place and link them on here for people to save...

I have fully stuffed up my cropping tool it only lets me do a certain amount I accidentally changed the measurements or what ever and it only let me do a square it's really frustrating.
