OMG how could you give her cancer. Thats horrible *cries* I hope its gone and will never come back. Martha cant leave, she has 5 beautiful children. She cant leave Jack. OMG im gonna cry *cries*

Chapter 31

PREVIOUSLY IN TOGETHER FOREVER.....................

Jack and Martha were sitting in Rachel's office yet again. It had literally become their second home. Rachel was just outside getting the results. Martha had been feeling much better lately, and hoped this meant that the chemo had worked. Rachel came in. She sat down and opened the file.

"Right, well I've got your results" Rachel said staring down at the piece of paper.

"Please just say it Rach" Martha said

"Ok, well, the chemo has worked" Rachel replied

"That's fantastic" Martha said giving Jack a hug

"So you won't have to have any more chemo, just get on with your normal life." Rachel said, "But we will have to test you in about a year, just to check that you're healthy and that the cancer hasn't returned"

"That's fine" Jack said, "I'm sure Martha will be fit and healthy when we come back"

"Right, well go home and see your kids" Rachel said

"Ok, thanks again Rach" Martha said

"That's fine, I'm just glad that you're alright" Rachel replied

"Come on lets go home" Jack said taking Martha's hand and walking out the door. "I don't know what I would have done without you Martha, you mean everything to me" Jack said

"I don't know what you would have done with me, I'd like to see you handle five kids" Martha added before kissing him on the lips. "Lets go home" she finished..

They had to go and get Indi and Lily from Beth's before going to pick the twins and Charlie up from school.

"Hey, how was it? What did the doctor say?" Beth asked as soon as they walked in

"It was great, the cancers gone" Martha said

"That's great love" Beth said before giving her a hug. "This family needs to be happy now, they've had too many near death experiences" Beth added laughing to herself.

"We sure have" Jack said going to pick up Indi, "Anyway, we have to go and pick the kids up from school"

"Ok, well I'll see you soon" Beth said

"You definitely will even if it is just to look after the kids" Martha said jokingly. Indi was glad that she had her mum back, that meant, now she could jump all over her again.

At school the kids could sense the good atmosphere when they came out and didn't need to be told that Martha was ok. They were really happy, they had a smile across their face for the rest of the day, even when they had to eat lots of veg for tea. It was saturday tommorow, so Martha and Jack let them stay up late and watch a movie. They watched Finding Nemo, it was their favourite movie. They had to get some popcorn, a movie to them wasn't complete without it. Charlie and Indi fell asleep whilst watching it, but the twins went hyper and ended up going to sleep at midnight.

In the morning, Martha and Jack were up early with Indi and Lily, but the twins didn't get up until ten o'clock. Charlie was up at nine. Jack had decided that they should head down to the beach, it was a lovely day, so why not. Harry was excited as Jack was teaching him to surf. He had gotten over his accident and was now really confident in the water. They would hopefully have lunch in the diner and then head down. Luc and Mattie said that they'd join them. Ben was now three and Rhys was now one. They were just going to enjoy themselves. Live life to the full. Martha was as happy as she could be, and enjoying looking after her children.

In the diner, Jodi, Harry and Charlie were all having sandwiches. Lily was asleep. Lucas and Mattie came in. They pulled up a table and ordered some drinks.

"So are we going to go to the beach straight after this?" Lucas asked. He always had to have a schedule

"Yer, I guess that's the plan" Martha replied

"Right, well we'll just have some drinks then" Mattie said.

"Right love, what can I get you to eat?" Irene asked

"Oh, actually, we're just going to have those drinks we ordered" Mattie replied

"Sure love, I'll bring them right over" Irene said before heading back into the kitchen

ONE HOUR LATER

Martha was in the water with Jodi and Charlie, Harry was pestering Jack to get his surfboard out of the car. Martha came up onto the beach to see Jack.

"Jack do you want to go in the water with Harry?" Martha asked

"No, it's alright, you stay in" he replied

"Daddy, you said you'd teach me today" Harry whined

"Go on, you go in, I'll sunbath with Mattie" Martha said before sitting down next to him

"If you insist" Jack said before kissing her.

"I do" Martha replied

"Come on then buddy, lets go and get the boards" Jack said picking up Harry before walking off. Mattie had been sunbathing ever since they had got there.

"Mattie, are you just going to sunbath?" Lucas asked in a disapproving voice

"I sure am, and if you don't like it, then go and do something else" she answered. Martha just laughed. "Martha, it's not funny, nearly all couples have arguments, just because you and Jack never argue and it's a rare site for you" Mattie continued

"Sorry, but I can't help it if me and Jack never argue" Martha apologised. Just then Jack came back with Harry and a surf board.

"Hey Jack, wait up, I'll come to" Lucas said

"Alright mate, but I warn you Harry's pretty good already. He has natural talent just like his dad" Jack replied.

"Whatever you say buddy" Lucas said

Jack was right, Harry was pretty good, he could just about stand up. He was only six and a half though. Jodi was still in the water with Jack, she was pretty good to. She wasn't quite as good as Harry, but that didn't matter to her as she wasn't that interested in it. Mattie had finally stopped sunbathing after she had decided she had topped up her tan enough. She was now trying to get Rhys to stop crying and failing. Lucas had just about noticed this and was now coming out of the water to help her. Lucas was really good with his kids. Rhys had just about stopped crying by the time Lucas had reached where they were.

"Hey Martha, Jack's right you know, you've got some pretty good surfers out there" Lucas said

"I know, Jack's been coming out quite regularly with them" Martha replied.

"It shows, not many six year olds are able to do what they're doing" Lucas added

"Well we're proud of them whatever they chose to do" Martha said

Jack had finally managed to get Harry out of them water, only when he said that he'd bring him down again tomorrow. Lucas and Mattie were packed up. Martha was doing the same. Jodi was going to the car as she was tired. Charlie was going to go with her. Jack came out and took Harry to the car. He took Indi with him which left Martha with Lily. They didn't have much stuff as the kids spent most of their time in the water. Martha soon had everything packed away. Jack came back to get the things from Martha, and Martha brought Lily in her carier. Jack had finally given in to the twins whining and they could watch another movie tonight. They had sunday to recover from the late nights that they had had. The kids had their parents wrapped around their little fingers.

Enjoy. I just couldn't bring myself to kill Martha,no matter what Becky said. :D
