Jack and Martha 4eva Posted September 5, 2006 Report Posted September 5, 2006 Chapter 41A "Jack" Martha yelled. He had shot himself in the shoulder. Martha quickly called for an ambulance, before rushing towards Jack, cradling him in her arms and telling him how much she loved him. How she had forgiven him and how she wanted to be with him. The paramedics finally arrived. They took him away straight away. Martha begged to go in the ambulance with him, but they wouldn't let her. She pleaded and pleaded, but they objected. Eventually she gave up just to let them get to hospital quickly. She followed in the car, but soon they sped away and out of her view. The journey seemed the longest it had ever been. Finally she arrived. She ran in to the hospital only to be stopped by Julie. Jack had gone straight into theatre, so all Martha could do was wait. She decided that she had to phone Tony and tell him what had happened. Then she rang Hannah, who was looking after the kids for her whilst she was in Summer Bay for the day. She asked her to bring them down. They had to see their dad, they could convince him to pull through. *************** Tony arrived pretty quickly. They waited for what seemed like hours, until Indi came running in looking for Martha. She was crying, she had obviously been told what had happened to Jack. She went and sat on Martha's lap, crying into Martha's chest. The twins and Charlie followed with Hannah. They were all upset, but they seemed to be handling it better than Indi. Finally Julie came out. "Martha can I have a word please" Julie said "Sure" Martha said, taking Indi off her lap and following Julie. "Ok, well the operations been successful, but hes in a coma. He can probably hear us. You can go in, but alone. We don't want him to be in a room with lots of people when he wakes up" she finished "Sure, but can I take Indi in with me. She really needs to see him" Martha asked "Well, ok then, but make it a quick with Indi" Julie agreed. Martha went to get Indi before going into Jack's room. Considering what he'd been through, he didn't look too bad. He just had alot of bandages on his shoulder. **************** TWO MONTHS LATER Martha was now six months pregnant. Jack had recovered very quickly from his near fatal incident. Him and Martha were back on track. She had forgiven him for cheating and had actually become quite good friends with Bec. She was now dating Ric, so they had to get along really. They had alot in common, and Martha could actually see that she was similar to herself thats why Jack chose her. They were now going on holiday together. Laura and Luc were going, Bec was going with Ric and Martha and Jack were going with the kids. They didn't see alot of Mattie any more, but recently she had been in touch with Martha alot more. She had been speaking to her on the phone alot more. But over the next week Martha along with everyone else was turning her phone off so that they could have a relaxing holiday. They were now ready to go. It wasn't very far, the place where they were going, just in case an emergency did happen. **************** Finally they arrived. Martha hated traveling when she was pregnant, but the destination at the end was worth it. There were some cabins over looking a beautiful lake, that they could all swin in. It was perfect. The kids were safe to roam around and do what they wanted as you could see everything. They could just relax and do whatever they wanted. Within five minutes of their arrival, the kids were already in the lake, splashing each other and just having a good time. Jodi looked just like Martha. She was now 14 and she had long dark hair, and the same coloured eyes as Martha. They acted so similar aswell. The holiday was just what they needed, a break from their hectic lives. The week passed rather quickly, and they were all shocked when Laura revealed that she and Luc were expecting a baby. Everyone was really pleased for them, and thats when Bec and Ric decided to break the news that Bec was pregnant aswell. Martha joked with them about how they had it all to come. Right guys, I know it's really short, but my computer shut down and I lost all my work, so I had to start again, and at the moment I have a block. But I will post tomorrow morning and add a bit onto this, so please bear with me. I hope you enjoy this part. Please comment. Emxx
