Hey guys, sorry it took so long, but I went through a massive block and just couldn't write, and then I had school and I totally forgot. But anyways, here's the next chapter. Enjoy, o and by the way this chapter is done to a song. I felt like writing a chapter like this lol.

Chapter 42

"Jack, I'm just gonna go for a walk" Martha said. She needed time to think. Recently she had been feeling very upset, she just needed space, Jack was being brilliant, but she couldn't help feel that she had forgiven him too soon. For Jack on the other hand things couldn't get any better. Everything was perfect, he had the woman he loved and his kids.

Martha's POV

This walk will do me good, I need some space, it's great that I've got Jack back, but I can't help thinking that it's too soon. She had three months until the baby was due, so she just needed to relax, and she hadn't been doing that without Jack. He had pretty much taken the kids off her hands. For me Jack is moving too fast. I need more time. There is no doubt in my mind that I love him, but it's moving too fast.

It wastes time and

The forest is beautiful, Jack would love it. Look at that rock up there, there would be a beautiful view from up there.

10 MINUTES LATER

O my god, it's beautiful. I wish I could share it with someone. I think I'll go and get Jack.

But Martha never managed to get to Jack, just as she was about to walk away she fell, luckily on her back, as not to damage her bump. She needed help, she couldn't walk. She needed Jack.

Back at the Lake

It was now dark and Jack was starting to get worried. He had left the kids toasting marshmallows round the fire. He had to find Martha. Martha just lay there, still, almost paralysed. Her leg was hurting like crazy. Unlucky for her, Jack had started heading in the same direction that she did but then he turned off onto a wrong path. It was now ten o'clock, Jack had sent the kids to bed, he had to go out again and look for her but it was too dangerous. He tried to stay positive, surely she had just gone to a shop and hopefully found a nice hotel. Yer, that was probably the reason. But Martha wasn't at a hotel, she was lying there, and it was now starting to rain. Could things get any worse?

As Martha lay there in agony and soaking wet, he life started to flash past her. She was happy on the farm, but then her parents died. She found her mum, her real mum. She had then met Alf. He was her life. Then she met Jesse, but he nearly killed her in the awful car accident. Even though it was an accident. Then she met Jack. Finally she gave into his attempts to get her and they were happy. But then there was Corey. She nearly died, but Jack was her hero, he saved her and she realised that she loved him. Finally they got back together again and then got married. Then Martha found out that she was pregnant with Harry and Jodi. Then Jodi nearly died, but she got through it. But then she found out that Alf had died. That was the worst part of her life. Then Jack nearly died. He recovered though, and then they had Charlie and Indi. Then there was the whole business with Tash before she took her own life. Then there was beautiful Lily, and Corey again. Then she tried to kill herself, but Jack saved her again. Then he cheated on her and she ran, and now she was back with him, but it looked like she was about to die again. But the one difference this time was that Jack wasn't there to save her.

I look around on a beautiful life

There were so many things she still wanted to do, mainly see her kids grow up and see her grandkids. She had to pull through. She couldn't give up on life after everything she had been through. Now soaked to the bone, she tried to get up, but immeadiately collapsed. She got out her phone and dialed a number, but the battery went flat. All she could do was hope and pray that she would make it through the night to see her family again. Right now she had to concentrate on herself. She had to concentrate on stayin alive.

NEXT MORNING

Martha still hadn't come home and Jack was extremely worried. He went and told Luc, Laura, Ric and Bec. They said they'd all start looking for her. Martha meanwhile still lay there in exactly the same place. She had managed to get about thirty minutes sleep in total and was really tired. It didn't help she was six months pregnant. She heard voices but was so weak she couldn't shout out to them. She listened as they came and went.

It was now midday, and Martha still hadn't been found. She was giving up all hope of being found. Finally she heard someone call out.

"Hey, you guys over here" Laura yelled

"Martha, Martha wake up for me please" Jack said softly to her. That was the last thing Martha remebered.
