Jack and Martha 4eva Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Chapter 45 2 MONTHS LATER Martha had done absoloutely nothing. She just sat on the sofa and watched her family carry on with her lives. Jack had been given time off work to look after the kids whilst Martha couldn't. Today she was getting the cast off her leg. To her it was like she was finally free to do what she wanted and continue with her life. Pick up where she left off. But then of course she was eight months pregnant, so she couldn't really do everything. Jack had just taken Indi to school, and when he came back they were going to the hospital. Martha couldn't wait. She kept on checking the clock but it had only been two minutes since she last looked. Finally Jack arrived, and they headed off to the hospital. *************** Rachel called Martha into one of the rooms. "Right Martha, today we're gonna take the cast off, and you should be able to do most things" Rachel said "Most things?" Jack asked "Well, yes because she's eight months pregnant Jack" Rachel giggled. "Come on Jack think" Martha said to him "Sorry" Jack replied. "It's alright" Rachel added, before continuing removing the cast that had kept Martha refined for so long. Eventually she was finished. Martha could now walk properly, much to her delight. She thanked Rachel before literally dragging Jack out of the room so that she could go down to the beach and do the things she loved doing most. They were going swimming, whether Jack liked it or not. *************** Jack had no objections, but he knew that when Martha got down to the beach, she would probably sunbathe, walk up to the water, say it was too cold, and then do some more sunbathing. Down on the beach, Martha as predicted had started to sunbathe. Jack ran up the beach with a bucket of cold water. As he got closer to Martha he could see that she had her eyes closed. Perfect. With one big splash, the contents of the bucket was all over Martha. "Jack" she yelled before getting up and following him to the water, where he had raced to safety. With on big push Jack fell face first into the water, much to the delight of Martha. Mission accomplished. Before Martha could turn away and get away, Jack had pulled her into the water to. Mission not accomplished. She was now soaked. Jack just gave her that smile that melted her heart, and he was forgiven. They messed around in the water for another fifteen minutes, before they had to go and get Indi. On their way, they picked up her beach stuff and left a note for the others, telling them that they were at the beach. This afternoon they were just going to relax. *************** Jodi, Harry and Charlie had decided that they would go down to the beach aswell, unknown to them the fact that the rest of their family were there. Back at the house they were getting their stuff when Jodi found the note. "Harry, Charlie, come read this" she yelled up the stairs. The boys came down, and Jodi showed them the note. "Shall we still go, I mean they can be pretty embarassing" Harry said "Come on guys, how bad can it be?" Charlie asked "You seriously don't pay attention to what we have told you" Jodi said "Yer, the worst time was when Jodi walked in on them, and they were about to do it" Harry added "Ok, so they can be pretty bad, but I think that we should at least go and bail Indi out" Charlie defended himself. "True, alright then, we'll go and get Indi and then go to Noah's" Jodi agreed "Fine, but as long as we don't hang around, god we would get it in the kneck at school if they found us with our parents" Harry said "Agreed" Charlie added. **************** Down at the beach, Jack and Martha were as shocked as anyone else when they saw Jodi, Harry and Charlie walking towards them. Harry and Charlie had decided at last minute that they would infact go for a surf. In their own words, 'you can never get enough surfing', to be exact., much to Jodi's horror as she knew that that meant that she would be left with the parents on her own. She had to devise another plan to get her and Indi out of there. In the end, she just decided to stick with Noah's. "Hey guys" Jack said to them "Hi dad, listen we're gonna go for a surf ok" Harry replied before heading off into the waves with Charlie "So that leaves you with us" Martha said to Jodi "Um, well actually I was gonna take Indi to Noah's to get a drink" she replied. Indi shot her a look of thank you so much, before they headed up the beach. "Looks like it's just you and me again babe" Jack said to Martha before kissing her. Martha didn't reply, she just deepened the kiss. **************** Back at the house, the kids were discussing Jack and Martha practically making out on the beach. "It was disgusting, I mean you were lucky, you didn't have to see it" Harry said "Unlucky, but if it's any consolation, me and Indi had a great drink at Noah's" Jodi replied "Yer, it was great" Indi added "Alright stop rubbing it in" Charlie said "Stop rubbing what in?" Jack asked as he walked past them "You don't want to know" Harry said "Yes, I do" Jack replied "Fine, we were discussing the site of you and mum practically making out on the beach" "And you were saying what a lovely site it is that two people are in love" Jack said before walking off "Actually, the complete oposite" Harry yelled to him. There was no reply. PREVIEW Is Martha alright? What about the baby? Finally I have updated, I thought that I better do a kind of long one, as my previous ones have been quite short. Anyways, enjoy:D and please please comment. I have been going through a major block at the moment, so any ideas appreaciated

Now they could look forward to the birth of their child. In just one month they would become parents again. Jack had somehow 'accidentily' found out whether it was a boy or a girl. He kept dropping hints that it was a boy, but Martha didn't want to know, so tried to ignore the comments, even though now she was pretty certain that it was a boy. Martha walked downstairs, she was still sleepy as she hadn't been sleeping well lately. "Morning beautiful" Jack greated her with a kiss. "Hey" Martha replied "Mum, you don't look too good, are you're sure you're alright?" Charlie asked "I'm fine sweetie, nothing to worry about" Martha said putting on a small smile. **************** Jack had dropped Indi off at school, as Martha was feeling tired still. Jack had told her to go back to bed, but she just couldn't sleep at all if he wasn't there. She sat on the sofa waiting for him to come back. Jack finally walked through the door. He saw Martha sitting down waiting for him. "What are you doing out of bed?" he asked "I was waiting for you" she exclaimed "Why?" Jack asked again "Jack, I struggle to sleep when you're here, let alone when you're not" she said. Jack went and sat beside her. After about fifteen minutes she fell asleep in his arms. He then decided that he'd leave her there to sleep, whilst he went to get a drink. When he came back Martha was awake, holding her stomach, struggling to breath. Hehe, hoped you like it. Laura this is for you as you wouldn't get off ma back. Anyways the full chapter should be up some time tomorrow. Please comment Em xx
