I mean, I think by giving points to each set [is that what you mean] it could be fair, but like Katie stated, the whole idea of LIMS is for the constructive criticism, which I think some people find as a pain, because in the end they just say "that one has bad colouring" but never continue on with a comment on how they believe it could be improved. So yeah, maybe if we had both points for voting, and also simple comments about why they are voting them off, and what could be improved, then it may work out?
princess_jessik Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 LIMS No.10 You need to pick a relationship (either one of romantic/friendship/family nature) will feature in all three icons. The pairing you chose can be from any show (including H&A) or any film or celebrity pairing. Each icon will be: No.1 - PERSON 1 - This icon must include ONLY one person from the relationship and it must contain that person only. No.2 - PERSON 2 - This icon must include the other person from the relationship and it must contain that person only. No.3 - RELATIONSHIP - This icon must include both people featured from icons 1 & 2 and must clearly depict their relationship (being that of friendship/romance/family). All icons should be 100x100 Any forms of colouring, brushes, texture, texts may be used on any of the icons. The competition will close Wednesday 6th June at 6pm Australian time (is that enough time for everyone?). Please PM entries to me by then. Feel free to ask, or PM any questions you have to me. I'll be happy to answer. Just a reminder of the competition which will definately close on Wednesday 6th June at 6pm Australian time . I currently have 8 entries ... more are appreciated. I agree with Jess's post (above) and I believe I am going to go with this system of voting for this round as a trial just to see how it goes.
flutterby Posted June 4, 2007 Report Posted June 4, 2007 That's ok I'm all for new ideas etc, I just prefer the original voting, I will keep an open mind to see how it goes but look how much time people have spent giving feedback for the One on One contest, I don't think we should let people get lazy!

princess_jessik Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 Sorry about this guys ... Basically one of the entries I received, some reason now the icon won't appear. It comes up with a little white box and a red 'x'. I tried PM'ing that person yesterday and their inbox was full. I tried again just now and thankfully it worked. So until they re-upload their icon I will wait to post the competition. Therefore, I think it's fair to say that I'll extend entries until 6pm TONIGHT! Hopefully this person will be able to PM it to me sometime before tomorrow morning (aka this time) and the competition will be up then. Sorry.
