Issues I seemingly didn't consider ... I feel quite bad about this. Should I just repost the entire thing or something & start again with the old-style of voting. Because as it has been pointed out, what happens to those sets who get no votes? And this voting doesn't seem popular anyway. This is the first time I've ever 'hosted' anything and it's kinda not going well so far. Sorry about this guys ...

Considering that comments are optional this time around, that shouldnt be an issue for all. And it might even up the voting. Unless it causes too much hassle for you?

I mean, because everyone's opinions on what makes a 'good icon' varies so much, this could be a much fairer way of judging.

And then which ever three icons are most popular are first, second and third. OR will there be like more than ONE round? So this is first round of voting, least 3 favourite sets get voted out? sevenpuddings Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 Well, the theory is that at the end of each round of voting, the bottom two [or three, if you want] sets get taken out, and another round of voting occurs. however this generally leads to a lack in votes in the subsequent rounds. So really you could do it either way. I mean its probably for the best, because you began with people voting for sets that they like, that this one only has this round. Because again, in theory, their likes and dislikes of sets of icons won't change. But by having people vote for their favourite and least favourite, then maybe thoughts will be evened out. I don't know. Maybe we should open this up for a wider discussion.

Congratulations to furry_logic who has one this round with these entries: 2nd place was flutterby with these entries: and 3rd place was aejdude with these entries Congratulations guys!! especially Anna! All the entries I recieved were amazing. Thanks to sevenpuddings, -Kirst-, .Pauley., Amy, Reo, Charlotte, ~Dom~ and dsingls for their entries. However I do recommened that next round we return to the previous form of voting as this trial was reasonably unsuccessful.
