Oxidizer Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Me too actually! I'm hoping they bring in an identical twin as the pyromaniac! Speaking of which, almost finished the first part of a fic I just started writing about something very similar to that. Oooh, that fic sounds awesome, any idea on when we'll get to see it? Right now. It's called 'Twisted Firestarter' (crap name I know, but I couldn't think of anything else and what should come on but 'Firestarter' by the Prodigy - it was fate!).
luckyrabbit Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 (crap name I know, but I couldn't think of anything else and what should come on but 'Firestarter' by the Prodigy - it was fate!). I have that song on a Zoe fanmix I'm making. It's so fitting . Has anyone seen the movie Keeping Mum? Mum made me watch it today and Maggie Smith's character is exactly what I'd imagine Zoe would be like in fifty years time. (You know, if she hadn't of been killed by a fracking cake!)Going about her business and then bumping off anyone who annoyed her without a second thought. I love my crazy Zoe.

Yah I really like that movie very black comedy. hehe. I don't think Maggie Smith's character was as bubbly though (even at the start when they she was younger on the train she was very subdued!). Still, its a bit of fun to think about eh. Stupid cake death.
Oxidizer Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 I'll have to rent it sometime. I vaugely remember seeing an ad for it on a Dvd I've got - can't remember which film. I wanna see pentioner-stalker!
luckyrabbit Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 I think that you'll like it Andy, like Truthisrealfreedom said it's a very black comedy. Anyway back to Zoe, the more I think about it the more likely I think it is that she really did have a split personality. Besides having the perfect background for one, she was so reluctant to be hypnotized she faked her own death to get out of it. I thought that she would've just faked beng hyponotized to feed the cops more lies but she didn't, why? Because people with MPD are very highly susceptible to hyponosis and having a background in psychology Zoe knew this and didn't want to take the chance. It makes perfect sense. Why couldn't they have done this on the show?

It's just a shame they ruined her character and her storyline. *Spits in utter disgust at the monkeys*
JamesC10 Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 This topic needs to be deleted. I mean Zoe is dead and that's it! She's not returning to Home And Away!

It's just a shame they ruined her character and her storyline. *Spits in utter disgust at the monkeys* I know they could have had a excellent storyline where Eve's personality returned and she had to deal with what she done and the residents of Summer Bay getting to know her as Eve and not Zoe. At least on Neighbours they acknowledge that Robert is mentally ill, it's a sad day when Neighbours handles a storyline more delicately than H&A. This topic needs to be deleted. I mean Zoe is dead and that's it! She's not returning to Home And Away! And this newbie needs to learn his place on the board and not demand that topics he doesn't agree with be deleted.
