Oxidizer Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 The two most annoying things on television this year have been brought to us by Channel 7. They are the stupid death of Zoe, and the co-host of It Takes Two Teresa Livingstone (and thats another story completely). Now, Im sure somewhere in the many pages of this thread I had a huge bitch about how Zoe was killed via cake and such, but Home and Away has continued to frustrate. I see it like this: If Zoe had of survived, there still would have been plenty of stories for her. She could have caused the helicopter crash rather than some strangely unpredicted storm which a professional pilot flew right into, and she could of been the pyromaniac!! Then she could of actually got some revenge on Summer Bay. I miss Zoe and her antics ... And no matter who the pyromaniac ends up being, Im sitting with my theory that its Zoe. She's alive and she is burning things. No one will ruin this for me. Not even Daniel Bennet. lol. lol I'm right there with yah. I seriously hope the pyromaniac is Zoe and they've just written it in instead of what they had planned before due to our disappiontment But I highly doubt it though. Still, it's a bit funny how Peter's car (Zoe's nemesis), the high school (a lot of loved residents work/go there) and some other fire will occur. It seems the perfect way to bring her back. Zoe is a pyromaniac herself! Besides, on the show (excluding DB's statement on the official site) Zoe hasn't been confirmed dead - and she only looked unconscious. We never saw Tracey's face - maybe she's the pyromaniac? I really hope it is Zoe and/or Tracey but I wouldn't hold my breath. I have a feeling I'm going to get terribly disappointed again
Elise Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 Hi there, If I were you, I'd get rid of the image in your sig, they are against the rules and a mod will more than likely delete it. Just thought I'd give you a heads-up.
victim-ofthenight Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 tick tock................this thread should stay alive because i have watched home and away since day 1 anhd fully agree her storyline was the biggest most gripping ever and when she returned i couldnt have been happier as she caused more damage and shocks than the first time mind u fair play i think if she came back a third time that really would be daft
Lauz Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 The second time for me was daft... but I was still thrilled to see Emily again. I'm not sure what I'd prefer actually. 1. No cake girl or horrible ruining of the stalker storyline but a chance to see Emily! 2. No Emily but the memories from last year. This storyline really did cause an impact though, even now it's still being talked about
luckyrabbit Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 It's still being talked about how badly they f*cked it up I'd prefer it if they brought her back a third time and did it right, now that Peter's out of the way she could focus on actually getting revenge on the rest of the town instead of just being obsessed with him. Have her kill Dani off screen, have her have a confrontation with Kim over the switched paternity results. Show some characters who had strong ties to her, reactions to her being evil. (Robbie and Tasha were her friends. Kim loved her!) Don't build a story around how big an explosion you can end it with. BTW, I've updated my fic again
Oxidizer Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 I wish they'd bring her back for a third and final time and do things right. I still can't believe how much they stuffed up with this storyline! All it would've took is for Kim to bump into Maxine Trood down the street or something, and have him stare at her for a minute. A lot more Maxine Trood scenes of her in the background - escpecially the town meeting. And the final should've been explained (Tracey and her connection, the escape etc.) and then have Zoe strike a match and be confirmed dead by forensics. It's not that difficult!
luckyrabbit Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 I seriously would've loved for her to be sitting in around in the background, in her disguise, in a Diner scene where someone's having a big bust-up and then she'd make a comment to Colleen who'd then spill the whole story while she's all like "Really? That's terrible." All smirking and evil like. If they had any sense at all they'd never kill her off, just send her to jail, that way if the ratings ever need a boost just have her break out and come back for a while. It makes more sense than constantly bringing her back from the dead. Oooh, I just had a thought on why Zoe's 'body' was face up after the explosion. Maybe she woke up, realized that everyone was getting up and just laid down and played dead until they were all gone because there is no way her body would've fallen like that after an explosion. Especially one that threw Peter all the way across the room.

Especially one that threw Peter all the way across the room. That would've been great if Maxine Trood did that! I said ages ago I hope that when Zoe's finished they'd lock her up so that she could break out whenever necessary! Great minds, huh? And as for that explosion, it was stupid in so many ways, the freshly released gas wouldn't make an explosion that big. Even if it was that huge - there would be no survivors - the flames blew throughout the entire barn. And dear departed Zoe... why would her and Tracey's bodies be lying comfortably looking next to where the gas cyclinder was? They'd be blown to pieces! Ah well, only good thing to come from this was Peter dying. He was mean calling Zoe a psychopath given every opportunity.
Traceve Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 Zoe and Tracey were standing alot closer to the Gas Bottle then Peter, yet Peter was thrown across the room and Zoe and Tracey were laying there as if they were asleep.
