They wouldn't be promoting it this heavily if it was only a dream.

So, we ask ourselves, why would they plug a characters return so heavily if it were only a dream sequence? The answer is this thread itself.

And there's your answer :P Maybe it's not a dream, but either way they would still be promoting it this heavily. They want people to TUNE IN. That's the *only* point of the promos. They're not obligated to tell the truth, or even hint at what's really going to happen. They'll hint at anything, true or false. As long as it gets people watching. And as long as they don't blatantly lie.

They promoted Noah's shooting as the biggest moment in H&A history when it wasn't.

They promoted a death when the Sutherlands fell down the mine shaft and they all survived (a random character died).

They promoted Scott's "death" when it was just a trick.

Your blind faith in the promos as some kind of oracle of truth is kind of sweet.

They have blatantly lied in the past.

I don't remember anyone dying in that storyline, Ste.

It must have been Elouise then. Maybe they said something like "a favourite character won't make it" and everyone assumed it was going to be in connection with the up coming mine shaft collapse. Either way... still an example of clever promotion.
