luckyrabbit Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 She definitely is. I don't get how people could say that she's a one-dimensional character without layers - they're just not looking deep enough. If they were saying after just seeing this years Zoe, then they'd be partially right because the Monkeys wrote her with only one layer, and that layer was evil. Okay, that sounds like it should be on a movie poster, but you get my point. You can tell she's still and eight-year-old girl at heart, I know the monkeys probably wrote all that dialogue to make her more crazy, but the way she refers to her reign of terror as a game and fun. She's a very playful (in her own deluded way) person. You also have to get into the whole Nice!Zoe persona, why did she choose to act like that? I have a weird idea of her watching girls like that at school and wating to be like them but she just couldn't because of how deeply (through no fault of her own) f*cked up she was. So she used the oppourtunity to fulfil a fantasy. Eve Jacobsen (pre-Sarah) was quiet and polite and kept to herself, Zoe McCallister was bubbly and outgoing and always sticking her nose into other people's lives. Polar opposites Pippa shouldn't forget about Zoe! Like you said, they spent a lot of time together. It's be great and oh-so-chilling if Pippa turned out to be the 2nd stalker when she reaches 18+ I wonder if Zoe told her what she was planning next week? Pippa for Stalker in 2024!

Polar opposites That's exactly how I see her. She was obviously immitating someone she looked up to at an early age or aspired to be when she was younger. Pippa for Stalker in 2024! Here, here! And here we go again - yet another fic idea about the Zoe/Eve thing! I'm beyond help now.
luckyrabbit Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 YAY! more fic! I think that it's funny that we're all on the Zoe/Tracey bandwagon, when Zoe/Sarah is the ship that has actual cononical evidence to back it up. But, despite that, there's no Zoe/Sarah fic (that I know of). You know what I'd like to see? Eve/Real!Zoe fic because those two were so doing it!
Oxidizer Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 I know! I wasn't much of a Eve/Sarah fan though so no loss on my part. Once I finish Ever, I might do this fic I'm thinking of and post it on LJ too, it'll be Eve/Real!Zoe and Eve/Laura based, maybe an appearance by Tracey at the very end.
luckyrabbit Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Are there actually any fans of Eve/Sarah? I think that they'd be the worst couple ever! Eve's so smart and Sarah's so...not. I do not understand how the hell Sarah Lewis (Sarah Lewis!) managed to manipulate Eve into thinking that she loved her. Maybe by that point Eve was so lonely and desperate for company, she believed the first person who told her they loved her, regardless of whether it was true or not. That fic sounds awesome, Zoe and all her bitches girls
Oxidizer Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Exactly. The only reason Sarah succeeded in manipulating Eve was probably because she'd never experienced affection or gotten close before. That was probably the first time. I got a title for the fic, it's gonna be called Conflict, I'll start on it once Ever?'s finished.
luckyrabbit Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Oooh, Conflict, that's hot! And when will Ever be finished?
Oxidizer Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Before Monday with any luck. I've only got a few more parts to write.
luckyrabbit Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 *bounces* So, we've talked about Zoe's psychosis, but what about Tracey's? Was she batsh*t insane or just blinded by love? I know that if I had the chance to be Zoe's accomplice (and get the added bonus of being her girlfriend), I'd take it but then again, I'm probably not the best example of mental stability seeing as apparently I'm a raging sociopath and all. *shrug* Random sidenote, when I clicked on this thread it had 666000 views.
Oxidizer Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 This thread's got to the largest on here! I'm probably not the best example of mental stability seeing as apparently I'm a raging sociopath and all I wouldn't worry about that at all! I'm always doing things that are regarded sociopathic and my GP thought I had mental instability when I was younger. And you're right. Hmm... well DB more or less said she was blinded by love on the official site so let's go for the opposite that she was just as crazy as Zoe. I like the idea that she was obsessed with the stories in the media and was basically a fangirl and Zoe picked up on that when they somehow met.
