Oxidizer Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 That's what initially made me think of the comparison! I got all nostalgic for my BTVS fan days, today, and watched This Year's Girl and was just like " She's dressed like Zoe!" As if I needed to love Faith anymore. Is that the one when she wakes up from her coma? I liked that ones a lot I do. She totally is dressed like Zoe! Only Zoe kills better. Are you a Buffy fan, Andy? Yeah, I used to watch it a lot but got sidetracked with Zoe. I prefer Angel though, it seemed more darker.

You know, Faith and Zoe would be an interesting combination...*ponders writing Zoe/Faith fic, because let's face it, Faith is pretty gay too.* Are you a Buffy fan, Andy? Yeah, I used to watch it a lot but got sidetracked with Zoe. I prefer Angel though, it seemed more darker. I ended up prefering Angel too, not as many annoying characters You know what would be fun? Zoe The Vampire Slayer

You know, Faith and Zoe would be an interesting combination...*ponders writing Zoe/Faith fic, because let's face it, Faith is pretty gay too. It totally was! I liked the body switch one but that just annoyed me because I liked watching Evil!Eliza I ended up prefering Angel too, not as many annoying characters You know what would be fun? Zoe The Vampire Slayer Totally! Cordy and Anya would've got on so well with Harmony, imagine all the dizty bitchiness? Zoe the Vampire Slayer? Wowers! That'd be so damn awesome! She could gay it up wth Faith. (I'm gonna be fantasizing about that for days now, thanks a lot! )
luckyrabbit Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 because I liked watching Evil!Eliza Who didn't? Zoe the Vampire Slayer? Wowers! That'd be so damn awesome! She could gay it up wth Faith. (I'm gonna be fantasizing about that for days now, thanks a lot! ) I don't know whether I should be saying "I'm sorry" or "You're welcome." Think about this, what if Zoe was a potential who got powers after Chosen? It would explain so many things, and would be totally f*cking awesome. You hear that? No, not that. That. That is a fic screaming to be written.
Oxidizer Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Who didn't? Good point. I don't know whether I should be saying "I'm sorry" or "You're welcome." Think about this, what if Zoe was a potential who got powers after Chosen? It would explain so many things, and would be totally f*cking awesome. You hear that? No, not that. That. That is a fic screaming to be written. "You're welcome" I'm sure I'll have sweet dreams now. (that seemed wrong on so many levels). That totally is! How awesome! It could explain her strength for carrying Sally, killing Marc, kicking that locked steel door off the factory and surviving the explosion... It's hard to imagine a quiet little nurse doing all of those things, isn't it?
luckyrabbit Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 "You're welcome" I'm sure I'll have sweet dreams now. (that seemed wrong on so many levels). It's only wrong if it's not right and the thought of Zoe/Faith is right on so many levels. It's hard to imagine a quiet little nurse doing all of those things, isn't it? It is, although she seemed to be in the gym alot and now we know why, she had to keep fit so she could carry all those dead bodies around. I wish we could've seen Zoe in more physical fights, those little scuffles with Peter just didn't cut it. You know she probably would've picked up some martial arts training, somewhere along the line, just in case.
Oxidizer Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 It's only wrong if it's not right and the thought of Zoe/Faith is right on so many levels. You're so right. (I totally had to erase what I originally had typed! ) It is, although she seemed to be in the gym alot and now we know why, she had to keep fit so she could carry all those dead bodies around. I totally forgot about that! Eve must've wanted to attack a town anyway, I mean, she knew Sarah for like what, a couple of weeks and she cooks up all these ideas after meeting Real!Zoe? I wish we could've seen Zoe in more physical fights, those little scuffles with Peter just didn't cut it. You know she probably would've picked up some martial arts training, somewhere along the line, just in case. Totally! I was thinking that. She should've headbutted Peter and broke his nose! But I guess they don't allow that in this timeslot (not for Zoe anyway, yet its okay for Lucas to smack dads). The only reason she didn't kill or break Jack's arm was because then the wedding wouldn't have gone ahead, so really, he should consider himself lucky, else she would've thrown him without much hesitation from that roof.
luckyrabbit Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 The way she put Jack in that hold on the roof, suggests to me that she did have proper training because if you get someone like that, it doesn't matter how big or strong they are, when performed properly it renders them helpless. (And yes, I do know this from personal experience .) I totally forgot about that! Eve must've wanted to attack a town anyway, I mean, she knew Sarah for like what, a couple of weeks and she cooks up all these ideas after meeting Real!Zoe? Well she does have a very active imagination.... I think the first time around Zoe's plan wasn't that well thought out, a lot of the things she did where just her taking advantage of situations and going with the flow. Like the murder mystery party and the bomb, that was supposed to be the end of it because she'd managed to engineer a situation where she could take out all the people she wanted to get at, in one go.

(And yes, I do know this from personal experience .) That's so true. And personal experience? Do I sense a really cool story behind that coming? Well she does have a very active imagination.... I think the first time around Zoe's plan wasn't that well thought out, a lot of the things she did where just her taking advantage of situations and going with the flow. Like the murder mystery party and the bomb, that was supposed to be the end of it because she'd managed to engineer a situation where she could take out all the people she wanted to get at, in one go. You're so right. Most of the things that happened were, as Eve said, 'perfect opportunities'. It's a shame the Murder Mystery House didn't blow - it would've been cool (even if everyone did get out)! Here's a teaser of Counterblow (based on those rumors at the beginning of the year about Zoe befriending Rachel at the hosptal)... “We shouldn’t. It’s too risky. I got into a lot of trouble for this before, remember?” Rachel pushed his hand off her face gently, holding it close between their bodies. “I know, it’s just I wanted to show you that I love you.” Rachel stopped a second, her eyes meeting his before a cheeky smile spread across her face before kissing him momentarily. A woman wearing a dark green scarf around her blonde, uncontrollable curls, wearing sunglasses peers around the corner to watch them. “I thought you said we shouldn’t kiss here?” Kim joked whilst breaking away from the embrace. “I know, but no one was watching, so no big deal.” Eve's alias in this is Laura McCallister BTW.
luckyrabbit Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Hee, "Laura McCallister", I like it. Counterblow looks awesome. That's so true. And personal experience? Do I sense a really cool story behind that coming? Not so much a cool story, as a really painful one. A few days after I learnt that hold, I was teaching my friend who was a little over-enthusiastic and they ended up nearly tearing a tendon in my shoulder. Three months of physiotherapy, not fun. You're so right. Most of the things that happened were, as Eve said, 'perfect opportunities'. It's a shame the Murder Mystery House didn't blow - it would've been cool (even if everyone did get out)! One thing I don't get about that is why Zoe set the bomb up so far away from the house, if it blew and everyone was still inside, nobody would've died. I guess that's why she made it look like it was all part of the game, so everyone would gather round to investigate and then get blown to smitherines. she's a clever girl, our Zoe.
