swfc Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 But that would've made sense! And we can't have that on Home And Away I timed it and Zoe was on-screen for just over a minute. Bullsh*t. That's ridiculous. She's the show's biggest ever baddie, and the least they could give her was just over a minute to say goodbye? I'm really peeved now. Everything that came out of Zoe's mouth this time around were a cliche. But that line was just terrible, damn Susan Hore (oh, the fun I could have with that name). It's just missing a W. Now that I've watched that scene so many times, I've started to notice more about it. Like we do get a momentary reaction from Kim when Zoe comes in he's all "Whoa! WTF?" and that overacting extra standing behind Peter making a fool out of herself and Sally's total non-reaction to the whole situation. Not to mention how unbuttoned Tracey's shirt was; someone was getting some in the car park Oh my! I noticed the unbuttoned shirt too, we should've been shown that what happened... just for more background info on them, of course. Lol. You guys really cracked me up. I noticed the unbuttoned shirt too. I was like, very interesting what they were up to. Altho, I didn't see any reaction from Kim. But, I realized that everyone was just standing around being bored. Even when Zoe was explaining, the only person who got all worked up was Peter. Everyone else just stood there like stick figures. Scene hoggers. If they weren't going to react in anyway, why not give us more Zoe/TT screentime?!?
Oxidizer Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 That's what pissed me off too. Everyone pretended to be terrified of her when she was detonating car bombs and trashing houses yet when she threatens to kill them all in front of them they're like 'and?', I know Summer Bay's had its fair share of misfortune but FFS make an effort here!! My only regret is that Zoe didn't kill anyone sooner when she had the chance - I wish that explosion wiped them all out, f*cking bastards. And I haven't even watched a full ep since Zoe/TT supposedly perished, that's how much I don't care anymore.
luckyrabbit Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 I wish Zoe had succeded in throwing Jack off the roof. Because no Jack equals no wedding, which equals Zoe and Tracey not being blown up by a cake. It would've been much more suspenseful if Peter had got the news that Zoe had somehow escaped during the transfer, killed her guards and abducted Tracey. He'd spend a couple of weeks days obsessing over finding Zoe and figuring out where they could be and then when he finally swooped in to rescue Tracey he finds out that she's been in on it all along. BUt then they couldn't have had that oh-so-fabulous Lost storyline, could they. Oh my! I noticed the unbuttoned shirt too, we should've been shown that what happened... just for more background info on them, of course. That could've made the episode so much better. I noticed that there's a weird cut in the scene, just after Zoe pulls off Tracey's gag. I'm thinking that if there was a kiss, that's where it was. Everything was leading up to it and it would've gotten across why Tracey was helping Zoe pretty quickly. So DB may not have been lying about the censor thing.
Oxidizer Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 That's such a shame about cutting that scene out because that would've made that episode. I would kill to see them kiss. And damn! I wish they did do that. It would've been decent enough if she had something to do with the crash, rather than a storm, as then it would've been good, I mean, Amanda's leg hurting finds them? Shiiiiit! I'm thinking of watching Hard Candy again for the zillionth time for inspiration for Impact (a sadisic oneshot for GJ), I need toture techniques damnit and my imagination muses aren't working right now.

Wouldn't we all, I mean they were generating enough heat to set the barn on fire by just pulling off a gag, a kiss would've been the icing on the cake (so to speak ) And damn! Shiiiiit! Jesus, I know! So many contrivances had to happen for the helicopter to crash. An experienced pilot flies directly into a storm? In an accident that, according to Rachel, should've killed them all, every single person survives with minor injuries? Five people with burns are lost in the bush for three weeks and only one of them gets their wounds infected? Amanda's instantaneous psychic connection to the daughter she only just found out she had saves the day? Why not just have someone win tickets for a scenic helicopter flight off the radio and have Zoe tamper with the chopper? Not that hard. I'm thinking of watching Hard Candy again for the zillionth time for inspiration for Impact (a sadisic oneshot for GJ), I need toture techniques damnit and my imagination muses aren't working right now. You know, I can be very imaginative when it comes to torture

Exactly. One full-on, tongues involved kiss wouldn't hurt. At all. esus, I know! So many contrivances had to happen for the helicopter to crash. An experienced pilot flies directly into a storm? It was the stupidest storyline this year along side the Believers! They should've made it so that the engine was tampered with, and at least give hints it could've been Zoe, then have the stalker storyline end with Lara putting the case in the 'unsolved' cabinet. You know, I can be very imaginative when it comes to torture Heh-heh, so I can usually, but today I'm coming up blank. I've got bleach, razorblades, blowtorch, gun and wire covered, it just doesn't seem enough? Medical surgical instruments, maybe? *ponders hard*

It annoys me so much that with all the possible ways this story could've gone, they chose the lamest, most disappointing one. I think that the whole Gillan/Witness Protection storyline was ruined thanks to the sh*tty ending that didn't really answer any questions at all. Heh-heh, so I can usually, but today I'm coming up blank. I've got bleach, razorblades, blowtorch, gun and wire covered, it just doesn't seem enough? Medical surgical instruments, maybe? *ponders hard* How about medical drugs? You can really f*ck someone up by overdosing them on insulin or potassium and Zoe would have access to that stuff
Cerise Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 You are really cracking me up ps: OMG MY 100 POST WAS ABOUT EVE! That must be a bad sign...or maybe good
